“Nanny Tessa come join us for the horse ride!” Nathan shouted from where he was and Tessa waved back at him.
Adams left already so it was only her standing. She made to move when Lydia finally caught up with her.
“H-how may I help you?” Tessa asked when she saw how she was staring at her.
“Guess you’re Tessa. I’m Lydia” Lydia smiled and Tessa tried not to smile awkwardly.
She couldn’t understand why she was even speaking with her at first.
“You just caught my attention from where I was and I decided to try my chance with you”
“Oh…”
“We can be friends, huh?” Lydia chuckled and Tessa smiled out.
“Sure but for now I need to go meet the boys since my boyfriend is gonna be here soon” Tessa lamented and Lydia did an awkward nodding.
“Your boyfriend.. you mean, Hayes Flynn?” Lydia asked and Tessa stared at her uncomfortably. She was acting suspicious.
“How did you know Lydia?”
“Oh, don’t think negatively. We met at a boutique days ago and…”
“Love bug!”
Tessa heard Hayes’s voice from behind and she turned with a huge smile appearing on her face. Before Lydia couldn’t complete her words she was already rushing to meet him.
“Babe!”
Hayes snaked his hands around her waist as they shared a kiss passionately.
Lydia watched all through till they broke it.
Hayes’s eyes caught with hers and he suddenly felt uncomfortable seeing how she was also looking at him.
“Why is she here?” He mumbled to Tessa.
“You know her? That’s Lydia”
Hayes coughed stylishly before forcing a smile at her.
“Why do I feel like I’ve seen her before..” He muttered.
“Huh?” Tessa’s brow furrowed..
“Nothing!”
“C’mon let’s go catch some fun!” Lydia smiled.

••A BEACH HOUSE••
“Gosh! That race was fun!” Lydia laughed as she came inside the small house with Hayes.
They had actually just finished swimming and Tessa was watching after the boys.
“Here, take this” He handed a blue towel to dry her hair. He got one too and started doing justice to his hair.
“You’re handsome” She suddenly blurted out with a knowing smile and Hayes blinked twice at her.
“I wish I met you first…” She uttered again and raised her hands to his chest. She began unbuttoning the first three buttons.
“Um, I’m sorry…” He quickly cleared his throat bringing her hands down.
He turned to leave through the door but she held his wrist and that made him halt.
“Tessa won’t have to know okay?” She whispered in a segzy voice, leaning in to bite his earlobe and that sent shivers into his spine.
It made him remember how Lavanya would always do that to him.
His mind darted to what happened few years ago with his brother and…
_FLASHBACK_
That auspicious day was just Lavanya’s birthday and Hayes had gone out to get her a birthday package.
She was tidying her room after the boys had went to school when Xavier suddenly came out from nowhere and hugged her from behind.
At first, she flinched but when she saw it was him she smiled and kissed him hard on the lips.
“Did I take so long?” He asked innocently.
“No” She affirmed and they kissed again, but this time more intimately.
They found their way to the bed and Xavier was already having his way with her when the door suddenly bursted open revealing Hayes and the gift in his hands.
“Wifey, I got you…”
His eyes darkened instantly and his heart started racing as the package in his hands dropped to the floor.
That moment, Xavier knew his world has crumble as he quickly got down from the ved in just his boxer. Lavanya quickly wore her singlet and wore her bum short properly.
“L… Lavanya” Hayes stuttered with strings of hurtfulness in his eyes.
Like a breeze, he rushed to Xavier and started punching the hell out of him. Lavanya’s eyes widened seeing how tough he was .
She grabbed her car keys and ran out of the room too.
“Motherf-__-ker! How could you!”
“I f-__-king trusted you, @$$h0le!” Hayes yelled in tears again and threw dangerous punches at his brother, sending him to the wall several times.
When he saw that Lavanya was no more in the room, he left Xavier and rushed downstairs too.
“Lavanya!” He screamed, searching the nooks and crannies of the mansion till he ran outside.
Her car wasn’t in place. He got into his and drove out of the house speedily.
He drove roughly to the main bridge where he saw her Red Porsche driving faster like mad.
Lavanya kept looking back as she drove not minding where she was going. She saw the traffic light but she disobeyed and zoomed recklessly.
She lost brake pads of the car and her eyes bulged out when she saw she was heading for a cliff.
“No! No!” Sweating profusely, she began hitting the brake pad repeatedly but it was too late because before she could jump out of the car, it somersaulted down the cliff, bringing out smoke before exploding mysteriously.
Hayes’s eyes widened from inside his car and his head banged repeatedly. Drops of tears found their root out of his eyes as he couldn’t even blink them away.
“Lavanya!” He came out of the car and started rushing to the cliff. He screamed again at the burnt car as he made to jump down to when a hand suddenly pulled him back.
“Are you mad? Do you wanna ki|| yourself?!” The lady yelled at him and he sniffed back in tears.
It was no other person that Emery(that where they first met)…

“I’m sorry, I have a girlfriend and we can’t be doing this” He moved away from her and she bit her lips in regret.
“She won’t get to find out except if you tell her” She shrugged and Hayes swallowed nothing.
“Look, I don’t know if you’ve ever fallen in love before but as for me, I madly fell crazily in love with my woman…”
“Point of correction, ‘Your Boys Nanny’ ” She pinned point.
“That doesn’t matter all I know is that, I love her! Don’t you have a man? Do you normally go around stealing others husband and boyfriends?” He snapped at her this time.
“Chillax young guy, I was just playing fun” She laughed jokingly and he scoffed.
“This would be the first and last time we’d both meet! Don’t ever come close to my family! I regretted ever getting to see you!” He hissed and finally left angrily.

Tessa and the boys were at the car park, waiting for Hayes to return. Adams was also waiting since Hayes insisted that he would drive then this time.
“Dad!” Liam exclaimed when he saw Hayes coming out from a distance and they all looked at that direction to see him ascending the car.
“Why does he look so angry?” Tessa thought within herself as she watched him till he got closer.
She moved closer to him and made to kiss him but he turned away and went to the driver’s seat instead.
“Hop in” He said instead and Tessa pressed her lips in awkwardness.
Nathan saw it and smirked.
Soon, they were already returning back to the mansion.

••NEXT DAY_NATALIE’S PLACE••
“Ding dong!”
The electric bell rang again and Natalie was just coming out from the bathroom with a towel tied around her B-__-bs.
“Hold on!”
She said as she rushed to see who was at the door.
She almost staggered backwards when she saw Tessa fuming from the door.
“T.. Te…”
She couldn’t finish her words when Tessa welcomed her with a deafening slap.
Natalie’s mouth went wide open as she rubbed the spot her best friend had just slapped her.
“Tessa! I…”
She wasn’t chanced to speak again when Tessa slapped her for the second time, more louder than the first.
“Tessa!!” Natalie screamed insanely.
“How dare you?! You have bo shame don’t you?! I heard everything single thing you did while I was away at the mansion!”
“Believe me, I can…”
“Pahhh!!”
The slap cane again for the third time and this time Natalie’s eyes rolled on their own.
“You knew my brother was much younger than you! He told me this from the start but I decided to keep it low because I knew he really loved you and I didn’t wanna hurt his feelings! Despite all what Dexter did to you, you still went back to him and even had a one night stand with him! You f-__-king broke Kingsley’s heart!” Tessa yelled furiously.
“Please forgive me Tessa. I was trying to ignore this feeling I swear but my heart kept saying otherwise. I still love Dexter! Swearz, I h@ťě myself right now! I’m so full of bad luck! People never just last long with me! You guys are the only family I have left Tessa! I never even got to see how my parents looked like.. they abandoned me too! Trust me, it hurts so much” She cried out in painful tears.
Tessa sniffed silently and didn’t even know when a drop of tears slipped from her eyes.
“But you should have told me Natalie! Thought we were friends!”
“That was where I..,,”
Natalie couldn’t finish her statement when nausea held her and she rushed to the kitchen sink to throw up there.
Tessa rushed in with her too.
She rinsed her mouth with the water and turned to Tessa but then she felt sudden dizziness.
Her head kept banging over and over again and she felt the urge to throw you again. Tessa just stood there, staring at her confusedly.
“Tessa, I’m…”
Natalie tried finding her words as she held the cabinet for support but the dizziness only increased.
“Natalie” Tessa called to be sure she was still seeing her but it was too late because she passed out instantly on the floor.
“Natalie! Natalie!”
“f-__-king speak to me Natalie!” Tessa kept shaking her to wake up but no movement came from her.
