Immediately, she left, Kev came from the other side.
He parked his car and ran into the house after inputing the code.
“Ariana?? Ariana??” He looked around but she was nowhere near or inside the house.
His eyes fell on the phone which he took a peek on.
“Sh!t!!!” He cussed, and ran out.
POLICE STATION**
“Please,,, I wanna see Malcolm” Kev was breathing heavily.
“I’m sorry. You can’t. Right now,,, He’s under interrogation”
“Officer!! Right now, as we speak…people lives are in danger. Only Malcolm can save us. Please,, give him a chance. He’ll certain return back. Please!!” Kev begged.
The chief deputy who heard him sighed deeply from behind. Kev turned and bowed earnestly to him.
“Please,,, help us” Kev whispered.
“Let Malcolm go for the main time” The chief deputy said.
“Huh? But sir- The officer tried protesting.
“Now!!!” He ordered with a thunderous voice.
“Okay sir” The officer bowed and ran off.
“Thank you…so much” Kev whispered.
The man smiled and nodded.
“Wh@ťěver it is. Save us, Chosen one” The man thought.
He was actually a close friend of Leo Da Cruz. Of course, this deceased mafia had close friends all over the globe.

“What!” Malcolm shouted.
“d@mn it!! We need to go to Dicey’s High first. Ariana, Tommy and everybody’s lives there could be in danger” He seethed.
Kev nodded, and drove faster.
“Have you alerted the others?” Malcolm asked.
“Yeah…but they aren’t picking” Kev answered.
“The usual” Malcolm scoffed.
“Let drop at your place first” Kev muttered.
“Why?” Malcolm asked.
“We need our weapons of course” Kev forced a smile.
“Oh yes. Sure” Malcolm nodded.
Kev stopped the car at Malcolm’s place and they came down.
They went in and after 20 minutes, Malcolm came out. He didn’t take Kev along.
Seems he had enclosed Kev in, to keep him safe.
With a loud sigh, he entered the car and zoomed off.

“Tommy!!” Ariana shouted.
Tommy turned and cried loudly.
“Teacher!!”
Gilberto who was around there, sitting majestically gave out a loud scoff.
“Leave that chain at once. You’re hurting yourself!” Ariana said.
His hands were red already. The pulley was reversing and the load which was high up was almost landing on the floor.
“Nooo!!” Tommy cried, shaking his head.
“Why not!” Ariana snapped.
“That man…he said,,, if I take my hands off this chain. Everyone here will die” He cried, grunting as he pulled the chain back up which shifted the dropping load higher.
“You!” Ariana ran to Gilberto and grabbed his collar.
“What did you tell this little innocent kid?? Huh!” She demanded.
“The truth of course. How tired he must be. He has been holding onto the pulley for 30 minutes now” Gilberto grinned.
“What!! As if ki||ing the school security out there wasn’t enough? You entered the school, lured an innocent kid out of his class and then, thr_@ten him and everyone?? Are you even human?? How can you be so heartless!!”
“You made me less human, baby!”
“Screw you!!,,,, Tommy, take your hands off the chain now!!”
“No…” He cried out.
“I’ll give you a Rubik cube. A bigger and better one. Nothing will happen so just leave it” She whispered.
He sniffed.
“Really?”
“I promise” She smiled.
Gilberto stood up and walked behind her.
“Do you wanna know what will happens if his hands leaves the chain?” He whispered.

He walked to her face and continued;
“The pulley will react and the load will land to the floor. Once your load lands, the bomb in it will explode and Pooww!!! Everyone here…in this f_cking arena dies. Let’s meet in paradise, baby” He winked.
“No!” Ariana screamed and dived down. She grabbed the chain while still on on her kness quickly and made a loud groan.
The pulley which was almost releasing, straightened up again.
The load was nearly on the floor. She inhaled deeply and grunted which standing on her feet.
“Heavy huh? Sorry” He winked.
“Someone has to bear the cross, you see? Someone has to die here for all of us to be safe”
“Why…why are you doing this?!!” She cried out.
He pointed at his eye patch and smiled, dangerously.
“Revenge!!!”
“You can never beat the chosen one, Gilberto! Give up!!”
“We’ll see about that” He scoffed.
“Tommy run!! Leave the school and alert the police men!! Tell them there’s a bomb in the school! Fast!”
“You scallywag!” Gilberto snarled as they watched Tommy scamper off.
“Oh…I forgot to tell you the interesting part…about the bomb?”
Ariana swallowed hard.
“What?”
“You got only- He paused and looked at the counter machine he was holding.
“You got 10 minutes”
“Wh…at?”
“Ariana!” Malcolm suddenly jumped in. He heard everything while coming in.
“Malcolm? How did you-
Awwn. Our chosen one is here” Gilberto mocked.
“This is the end of you!” Malcolm warned.
“Well, Not until I ki|| you first” Gilberto growled.
Ariana quickly raised her leg when Gilberto was advancing towards them. She knocked him down on the center of his throat and he fainted at a go.
“Malcolm- She paused and looked at him.
“Hurry. There’s no time!!” He told her and snatched the chain from her.
“What are you waiting for? Find Tommy and alert the others. Fast!”
“But what about you??”
“I’ll be fine. Just save the innocent souls first. Please. I’ve called the cops. They will be here soon”
She nodded and ran out.
Fortunately, She met with Tommy who handed her a megaphone that was ditched.
Using the megaphone, she warned the whole school. The deputy chief soon came with his officers and also confirmed Ariana’s statements.
At once, there was
scatteredness and catastrophe.
Screams filled the air as they all stampeded out.
“Easy!” The offivers warned, leading and helping.
“Teacher. Let’s go out now. Many are outside already”
“Alright then…But I’ll return back cause of Malcolm” Ariana said.
Tommy nodded and they both went out.
“Stay here with the others. Lemme go back in”
“Be careful” Tommy pleaded.
She nodded and was about to go in when the chief deputy held her.
“Where are you off to?” He asked.
“Malcolm. Malcolm keepers is in there. Please,,, I need to go in. I need to save him” She cried.
“Don’t you think its too late? You both could risk your life”
“How?” Ariana asked.
“Our bomb reader is receiving strong signals and heat. I think the bomb in there is about to blow up. In less than a second”
“Mal…Malcolm!!No! No!!” Ariana screamed and with heavy gushing tears, she snapped her hand off and turned around.
Immediately, her fast running legs took another leap, the whole school exploded.
Ariana body reacted, flew away and landed hard on the ground.
“No…” Her weak voice uttered as a tear slip down her eye.
She fainted, immediately.

Malcolm closed his eyes as the bomb took effect on his whole body which made him breath his last.
The unconscious Gilberto also went with him and few unsuccessful ones in Dicey’s High.
