Ariana forced a small smile and walked closer to the security man. Tommy was beside her.
“What if she ruins this?” Rhoda voice was heard.
Nobody replied.
“Ariana. You can do this” Cindy muttered, breaking the silence.
“I’m right behind you” Oliver said.
“Be confident. Nothing will happen” Kev said.
“Stay safe” Ken could only say.
“I promise that I’ll keep you safe and that nothing will happen to you” Malcolm cooed.
The security man started using the weapon detector to scan her.
*Beep…Beep…Beep* It continued making that sound when he scanned her bag which was hung on her shoulder.
“Sh!t… What did I say” Rhoda bit her lips.
“I’m on my way, okay. Just…stay there” Malcolm chipped. written by sommy pearl f.
“Open your bag” The security man ordered, with a big ugly frown on his huge face.
Ariana sighed and opened it.
“Throw down the contents!” He ordered again.
Ariana turned the bag upside which released the contents on the ground.
There was a phone, a jotter, drawing book, pen, watercolor, brush, lip gloss and a Rubik cube.
Tommy eyes widened with excitement when he saw the Rubik cube.
“Teacher? Are you an angel?!! Who ever told you I love solving Rubik cubes?” He asked, taking it.
Ariana looked at him and blinked her eyes.
“Your mum called me and when I asked what you liked, She mentioned Rubik cube and I promised to bring one for you…that if she didn’t mind” Ariana said.
“Then,,,, I guess its now mine?” Tommy giggled.
“Of course” Ariana winked.
Meanwhile, Malcolm who was in the car stopped and smiled. He was quite relived.
The security man studied the bag and the contents, then, used the weapon detector on it again but it didn’t make a beep this time.
“Sorry for the embarrassment. This detector misbehaves sometimes”
“Nah. Its fine” Ariana smiled.
“And as usual, She always saves the day” Malcolm said.
“Thanks to Tommy though” Ariana whispered.
Tommy and Ariana later entered the study room.
She took down a large white clothing which exposed a bigger white board. meant for her.
Tommy sat close to the other smaller board. He was setting the Rubik cube.
“Tommy…” Ariana whispered and took it away from him.
“That’s mine” He grumbled, sadly.
“Sorry, Tommy but…this isn’t actually for you”
“Huh? But you just said-
“Tommy. I promise to get a bigger and better one for you tomorrow but can you just give me this?” She asked. written by sommy pearl f.
Tommy sighed.
“Alright then”
“Thank you” Ariana chuckled and roughed his hair.
MINUTES LATER**
Ariana had just drawn a big, grand castle. She also painted it and added other still lives around it, like the grasses, etc.
“Wow. You draw so well” Tommy smiled.
“Thanks” She smiled back and stood up.
“Follow my steps and draw yours. I’ll be right back” She said.
“Where are you going to?” Tommy asked.
“To the restroom” She answered and advanced to the door.
“You don’t know where the restroom is? And you didn’t even ask” Tommy voiced out.
Ariana swallowed hard and slowly turned her face to him.
“I was in a hurry. Where’s it?” She asked.
“Let me take you there” Tommy got on his feet.
“No!…Don’t…don’t bother. Just direct me. I’ll get there myself. I just want you to concentrate on your drawing”
Tommy nodded.
“Its on the left side in the lobby. I think 6 or 7 doors away”
“Thanks” She winked and left.
Tommy smirked and went to her bag. He opened it and couldn’t find what he was looking for.
After searching around the place, he didn’t still see it.
“Where’s it?” He Mõ@ɲed sadly.

Ariana slowly walked through the lobby. She got to the last door and opened it.
She saw she was at the backyard now. She looked around thoroughly and heaved.
“Got it” She whispered.
“The power box right?” Oliver asked.
“Yes” She replied and walked to it.
“You know what to do” Ken spoke.
“I do…” She answered and opened the power box small door.
She looked into it and saw all manner of cables, wirings and irons pegs in it.
It was what supplied electricity to the governór’s whole mansion.
She took out the Rubik cube from her pocket and solved it, till it had the whole colored cubies uniformed.
She kept the Rubik cube inside it and closed the door.
“Its gonna explode…I mean, Its gonna spark within 10 minutes. Censor, You ready?” Malcolm asked.
“Yes” Ken answered.
Ariana inhaled deeply and walked in. She saw Tommy at the lobby with his arms folded. He was visibly frowning.
Ariana looked back and then at him.
“Where are you coming from? That ain’t no restroom” He said.
“I lost my way” She chuckled, nervously.
“Why are you outside? Shouldn’t you be drawing in your study room?” She asked, taking his hand as they both walked away.
“Are you with the Rubik cube?” He questioned, instead.
“Huh?” She asked.
“I couldn’t find it”
“Hmph! Tommy,,, Did you search my bag?” Ariana frowned.
“I’m sorry. I couldn’t help it” He hung his head low.
They finally entered the study room.
“Don’t get too worked up about it. I’m really gonna get you a new one tomorrow”
Tommy smiled.
“Okay”
“Good boy” She stroked his hair.
Suddenly, there was a mild explosion sound outside and the whole electricity went off.
Ariana quickly took out her phone and switched on the flashlight. written by sommy pearl f.
“Ariana” Rhoda called.
“Spy…” Malcolm corrected.
Rhoda grumbled lowly.
“Spy,,, you made a big mistake” She said.
“How?” Ariana whispered.
“Stop promising that kid, a Rubik cube. You know you won’t come to that place tomorrow after Ken takes the whole money. What will you be doing there again tomorrow?” Rhoda asked.
“C’mon,,, Bullet. You know it ain’t my fault. You heard it all. I just couldn’t help it. Besides, the little kid saved me” Ariana said.
“Its fine. You really tried. Anyways, due to the slight change,,, we are gonna have to use the plan B” Malcolm said.
“And what’s the plan B, boss?” asked Cindy.
“I’ll be taking the money instead of Ken and that would be tomorrow. Meanwhile today, I want Censor to still go in and search for the room where the money was kept,,, and don’t forget to put the tapping cable” He completed.
“Got that, boss” Ken said.
“Does it means, Oliver won’t be hacking into the door today?” Rhoda asked.
“Yes” Malcolm answered.
“Gosh. I hope plan B doesn’t get ruined like plan A” Rhoda said.
Ariana only sighed and just immediately, the door opened.
“Are you guys alright?” Lady Winnie asked, pointing a torchlight into the room.
“Sort of” Ariana replied.
“Lady Winnie…What happened to the lights?” Tommy asked.
“Don’t really know, young master but I’ve sent for the personal electrician. He’ll be here soon. Just stay quiet with your teacher”
“Okay, Lady Winnie” Tommy smiled.
“You heard that, Censor…so get ready” Ariana nodded.
“Aye Aye” He answered.

Ken was walking along the road, and he adjusted his cap each minute.
He wore all blue uniform and held a tool box.
He noticed someone familiar, who walked past him.
He turned back and arched his brows. It was Mimi and it seemed she had just walked out of the cafeteria before him.
“Hey, Cactus” Ken called.
“Yes?” Cindy answered.
“Has Mimi been vindicated?” He asked.
“Yup. 3 days ago. She and Gina. Anyways, they are both jobless for now and nobody, not even Mr Woods is willing to hire them. Karma is a big Ɓîtçh” Cindy laughed.
“But…why did you ask though?” She asked.
“Uh…Nothing” Ken answered and walked away.
He stood miles away from the governór’s building and saw a man coming forward. He was wearing a dirty all blue uniform too and he had a tool box with him.
“Target seen” Ken said.
“Take him down. Don’t kîll him” Malcolm instructed.
“I know” Ken replied and quickly hid.
When the electrian got closer, Ken came from behind, and twisted his neck.
He fell down and lost consciousness.
“Where are you, Bullet??” He asked.
“Right behind you” Rhoda replied and her car came into view.
Ken pulled the man in and looked at Rhoda.
“Be rest assured. He’s be out for the rest of 12 hours” He said and left. written by sommy pearl f.

“Are you the electrian we called for?” The security man asked.
“Yes…” Ken answered.
“Search him. The weapon detector is malnufacturing” The man ordered.
Ken and his tool box were searched but they found nothing.
They thought the cables they saw were ordinary ones.
“You can go” The other security men said.
Ken bowed and turned to leave.
“Wait!!” The security man suddenly said.
Ken stopped and the security man walked to his face.
“….Your cap. Pull it off” He said.
