MAFIA’S HIDEOUT**
“You spied but still got nothing serious and suspicious??” Malcolm asked.
“Yeah. I even peeped at them, unnecessarily. There was absolutely nothing from the ordinary during my stay at the lab. I…tried though” Ariana whispered.
“Tried what?! What exactly!! f_ck!” He thundered, and jammed his fist on the wall, aggressively.
Cindy shrugged her shoulders, and Ariana shivered. She quickly kept her eyes down.
“I’m…sorry” She whispered, softly, trying to hold in her tears.
By now, they had taken off the bracelets and tiny ear buds. It was in the case where it was always kept.
“We’ll continue tomorrow. Make sure, you get something! Anything! Cactus?” Malcolm called.
Cindy looked up at him.
“Yes, boss?” She answered.
“Make sure you inject Miss Jung Hee with more sedative”
“I will. It’s even time now” Cindy stood up, and walked to the medical secret room.
When she left, Kev noticed she left her phone on the chair.
He took it, excused himself and also left.
Ariana sniffed and stood up.
“Where are you heading to?” Rhoda asked.
Ariana looked at her softly and glanced at Malcolm, who was now smoking.
Ariana took her gaze to the ground. She wanted to just cry her eyes out, but, at somewhere, discreet.
“I wanna smoke..” She muttered, grabbed a small cigarette from the desk and went through the door, leading to the corridor.
“What with her? When did she even start smoking??” Malcolm eyed her.

Ariana sniffed, and wiped her tears away. She heard a giggle and peeped to see what was going on.
In the medical secret room was Cindy and Kev. Cindy was smiling, with her eyes down.
“Gosh,,, Thanks” She glanced at her phone.

“Kev? Wait…” She suddenly said.
Kev turned to Cindy.
“Can you stay with me? Just wait for me. Let me inject Jung Hee. When I’m done, we can leave”
“Sure..” He smiled, and sat down.
Cindy beamed, and rushed to the bed, where Jung Hee laid.
Ariana smiled looking at them.
“Our Cactus has a crush on Kev” She whispered.
“You just finding out?” A voice whispered, beside her.
Ariana bulged her eyes, and was about to scream when a hand grabbed her mouth.
“Sshh…They will hear you and think you are a spy here too” Oliver laughed, gently.
Ariana took his hand down and cleared her throat.
“What do you mean? I wasn’t spying. I was just trying to see what was going on”
“Still the same” He teased.
“Not the same” She shook her head.
“Why are you here though? Have you been spying on me, too? Huff!!” She huffed, and looked away, grumpily.
“You said you wanted to smoke. So, I just wondered who smokes without a fire?” Oliver said, exposing the lighter on his palm.
Ariana folded her lips.
“I was in a hurry. So, I forgot”
“Or,,, maybe it cause you don’t smoke and you actually, didn’t wanna smoke”
“Aiish. I wanted too. Give me that” She snapped, and took the lighter from him.

“Let’s go now” Kev said.
They heard him and quickly peeped.
“Wait…Uh…I mean,,, let’s wait a bit…again” Cindy said.
“Huh? Why? What’s wrong?” He asked, carefully and raised his brows.
“I just wanna be sure the sedative works well” She smiled and looked down.
“Alright” He nodded.
“Just 5 minutes” She whispered, and sat down close to him.
Ariana smiled and walked further. Oliver followed.
“I sometimes wonder if Kev is stupid or foolish” Oliver shook his head.
Ariana inhaled deeply and shook the burning cigarette into her mouth.
“Why?” She asked, and took it out.
Smoke came out of her mouth, and she coughed strongly.
Oliver quickly went to her and tapped her back gently.
“You cool?” He asked.
She threw the cigarette away and nodded.
“Yeah…Thanks” She tapped her chest.
“Your first time, smoking, huh? You little liar” Oliver snickered.
“I just came up with that excuse to leave. Mister is annoying, at times” She said, swiftly.
“And he has a cool side too,,, trust me” Oliver smiled.
Ariana looked away.
