Robert sat down on his bed as he stretched out his arms and groaned in pain. The pain from the bullet wound was still bothering him.
“Sorry about that..
Rose said as she walked in.

“Rose…
You finally have the time to see me”

“Yeah.
Didn’t jean told you I was coming by to say hello?”

“She did…
Robert replied and stood up from the bed.

“How are you feeling?”
Rose walked to him.

“Well, am fine now but still feel some little pain”

He suddenly asked that question.

Rose seems surprised by his question.. She went to the hospital bed and sat down on it.
“Over you?”

“Yeah… I was told you once had a crush on me before meeting Andrew.”

“That was then, not anymore
Rose replied. Robert sat down with her.

“Am not trying to make things weird, am just curious what could have changed your mind”

“Well, nothing happened…
Andrew and I just passed through some hard love feelings experience and we found ourselves in love with each other.
We just clique together”

I guess jean and the others are not back yet”

“Since, they are not yet back and Andrew instruct we should remain here in the hospital and also to keep you especially safe, what can we do in the mean time? ”

Doctor naresh said from the room door with a smile on his face.
They both looked at him.

Jean was still hiding in the car. The others were still inside in a gun battle.
Suddenly, she heard someone running through the dry grasses and a gunshot followed. She jerk in fear and cover her mouth to prevent herself from shouting.

“Was someone just shot?
She muttered and tried to look through the car window and saw a dead body lying on the grass floor from a distance,

“Oh f_ck, someone was ki||ed…
I hope it’s not Kate or Ben”

Her stomach made an hungry sound.
“I guess am farmished… We’ve been here for two hours now”
She said again and wanted to open the car door when she remembers her brother’s words.

Andrew’s words ring in her ear.

“Am sorry, brother…
I need to get something to eat, and I can’t stay in here any longer”
She said within herself and opened the car door, stepping out of the vehicle. She was about to walk away looking for where she could get something to eat or drink when she spot Olivia’s car booth opened.

“Wonder what’s in there?
She wondered.
It’s not an crime if I take a look”
She said and walk slowly to Olivia’s car to avoid being seen by Dylan’s men or anyone.
She got to the car booth and found some shopping bags.(The shopping bags Olivia bought from the supermarket)

A smile curved out from her face.. She rushed to opened it and found some baked sliced bread, some groceries and some dresses.
“Am sorry, Olivia… Or whoever own this, am eating this cos am farmished right now”
She said with joy.

Take your men and go, leave me in my business”

Andrew said and she removed her mask slowly.

She removed it and adjust her dangling hair, revealing her face.
Kate and Ben saw her face and gasped… Andrew was left surprised again.

“Yes it me…don’t be shocked
She gave a wicked smile.

“Maddie?
Kate said.

“Yeah it’s me… Maddie”

“Finally, finally…
We all meet again”
Dylan said clapping his hands.

“We all thought you are dead…
Ben asked.

“Yeah, I was…
But I wasn’t completely dead”
Maddie replied.

“Why are you doing this? Why are you after Robert?
I don’t seem to understand”
Andrew asked.

“It’s a long story… I just want you out of my way”

“Am sorry I can’t…
They are my family and it’s my duty to protect them”

“Then you have to die”
She pointed the gun at Andrew…

Ben look at the situation.. anyone can get ki||ed at this moment.
Andrew and John were both pointing gun against maddie. Andrew’s men faces Maddie’s men.
Dylan without any weapon just watch the drama between Andrew and maddie.

“Go now.. Andrew Williams, am giving you the chance”
Maddie said again
Both parties are not ready to lower their weapons.

John looked at Andrew.
“Boss, I think we should go”
John advised.

“Not until I have back the asset transfer file”
Andrew said stubbornly.

That file can help Robert comes back on the top rank, would you love that?
I thought he is your competitor”

“You are holding a sliced bread, jean…
John said.

Jean replied but got interrupted by Andrew.

“Why did you want us to leave so quickly?
I could have gotten the file asset transfer”

“We live to fight another day, boss”
John replied.
“I actually saw some greenade with some of those men and they seems ready to release it if we pull the trigger”

Andrew sighs.
“Drive… Let’s head back home”

Andrew came out of the bathroom freshly bathed. He took his bathroom towel and roll it round his waist.
Rose watched him with a smile as she stares at his abs. She keep watching him till he changed into his pyjamas.

“What have I done wrong to deserve that long stare?”
Andrew asked as he walks towards the bed where Rose laid.

“Nothing?
Am just admiring your body”

“You see my body everyday”
Andrew replied and lie on the bed beside her deeping his legs under the duvet.

“Yeah…
I just enjoy seeing your body”
Rose said and hugged his chest resting her head on his broad chest.
She breathe out in relief.

*You seems stressed out today…
Andrew asked.

“Not really, the ante natal sessions was not that hetic”
She replied and kept quiet for a minute.
“So… The asset transfer file was not retrieved?

“Yeah, Maddie refused to give it out”

It’s already late, I have work tomorrow”

Rose replied and lie flatly on him looking into his face.

She said playfully caressing one of his abs.

I told you I have work…
Rose shut him up with a kiss. She hold the back of his neck and continue kissing.

She stopped and looked at his eyeballs.
“So what are you saying?
Rose asked.

Andrew came back on top. Rose smile with her hands still at the back of his neck.
“I think work can wait”

(MIAMI HOTEL, EIGHT MONTHS AGO)
Robert walked through the corridor with his men behind him.
One of the them unlocked a room door and gesture Robert inside.
Robert phone rang.
He picked it and walked into his room..
Two men stand in front of the door while others walk back to look around the hotel.
Robert dropped his phone on his bed and he felt a gun pointed at his head.
He quickly raise up his hands without looking back.
“If it’s money, I gat them… Just check those bags on the bed and go”
Robert said.

“I don’t need money,and I don’t come here for your money… am here on a mission to have you ki||ed”
A voice that sounds like a woman replied.

“Who sent you??
Andrew William? He is the only one capable of this”
I will pay you double of what those who sent you are going to pay you,,
Name your price ”
He said staring at a pocket knife in front of him.

“I don’t need your money, Robert suntherland like I said before…
I only came to have my revenge”
She replied angrily and Ç0çƙed the gun.

Robert slowly turned back.. he saw her but her face was covered with a mask and she also wore some hand gloves.
She wore a blue suit and tie dressed like a man.

“What fashion sense is this?
Robert asked trying to divert her attention and identifying that familiar voice.

“None of your business, Robert
But am going to tell you anyway since you will be dead very soon.
Just trying to pin your death on Andrew William,, he wore this same dress today and if anyone sees me escaping, they will all think Andrew William is involved in your murder”
She said still pointing the gun at him.

“Well, I guess if you wanted to ki|| me??
You would have done that while ago”
Robert said and quickly grab the pocket knife behind him,
He wanted to stab her before she could $h00t him but she was faster,,
In defense and in less than half second, she shot Robert in the forehead and he dropped dead to the ground immediately.

She realized what she had done,, she quickly took a glass vase flower on the table and throw it at the glass window, she jumped out of the window immediately just in time Robert’s men walked in.
She run across the hotel car garage and hide beside one of the cars to catch her breathe.

“That was a close one”
She said as she breathe heavily. She remove her mask and unhook the tie she wore.
It was Maddie.
Her phone rang.
“Hey, Dylan…”

“Maddie, where are you?
Dylan whispered over the phone.

“Am still at Miami hotel…
Is everything okay”

“I think Robert suntherland is dead, and get out of the hotel immediately, there is a search of the murderer going on”

“Thanks Dylan…
Maddie said and quickly stood up, wearing back her mask.
