Rose and Mark walked out of the restaurant with smiles all over their faces.
“Thanks for agreeing on the date”
Mark said.
“Thanks for coming also”
Rose replied.
Mark’s men walked to him.
“Boss, the car is ready”
One of them said.
He looked at rose one last time.
“My regards to that sassy guy you like, I wish I could know him one day”
Mark added and walk away.
Rose just kept smiling.
Mark’s car drove off.
“If Andrew could find out I went on a date with a another guy.. I knew he will come running”
She thought for a while.
“But we had a fight, I don’t think he is going to come..
She sighs and brought out her phone.
The phone began to ring but no one is picking it.
“I guess he is really really angry with me”
She said to herself and was about to hang up when Andrew’s voice sounded from the other side.

Andrew said.

Rose asked.

Andrew asked coldly.
“I just want to let you know I went on a date today with another guy to…

She checked her phone and realize the call already ended.
Rose sighs.. she drop her phone back into her pocket and went back inside the restaurant with a sad face.

Rose got home and lie on her bed.
Her mom walked into her bedroom
“How was the date?”
“It’s fine… Everything went well”
She replied.
“So do you like him?
What did you two talk about? ”
“No, I think am in love with someone else”
Rose said with all heart of honesty.
Her mom smile and walk to her. She sat beside her on the bed before giving her a hug.
“Who is it?”
She replied.
“Am so scared to tell him about my feelings”
Rose said ignoring his mom’s last question.
“Maybe because I h@ťě myself for falling in love with someone like him”
“Who is it? ”
Her mom asked again.
“Andrew Willams”
She said and burst into tears.
“Don’t cry, Andrew is right here with us”
Her mom replied and Andrew walked in with a rose of flower.
Rose stood up and clean her tears.

What are you doing here?”
Andrew walked to her and knelt down in front of her with her mom watching.
He brought out a small blue box.
“Rose Walter…

I already prepared a new marriage proposal for the both of us”
Rose gasped.

Her mom called as rose hugged her tightly.
Rose opened her eyes and realized she has been hugging her mom.
“Are you okay?”
Her mom asked.
Rose look around.
“I was dreaming all that?”
She thought.
“Why are you in my bedroom?
Rose asked and look around.
“This is almost 9am in the morning, Aint you going to prepare for work?”
“It’s morning already?

Rose was surprised.
“Just get up from that bed and prepare for work”
Her mom said and walked out.
Rose sighs and buried her face in her palm sadly.
“It was just a dream”
She sighs and got off from the bed.
“I can’t believe I dreamt that”
She staggered to her bathroom.. she dragged her feet and brought out her toothbrush from the case on the table with a mirror, took the paste and took in a little amount on the toothbrush, she began brushing her teeth as she stares at the mirror.
Andrew appeared in the mirror smiling at her.
“Good morning rose”
She imagined.
She opened her eyes wide and hit her cheek.
“Oh gosh,

“Rose come to the living room, breakfast is ready”
Her mom shouted for her to hear.
“One can’t even have a peace and quiet, I can’t wait to live alone”
She said to herself and continuing with her teeth brushing.
“Wait a minute, or maybe living with Andrew will be dope?”
She asked herself..

Rose just nodded and walk out of Jake’s office, walking towards the room locker.
Someone was staring at her, she noticed that and look sideways.
She gasped as someone suddenly appeared in front of her.
“What are you doing here?”

Olivia asked.

Rose asked back.
“I came here to have breakfast”
She smile wickedly but my main reasons, you will soon find out”
Rose just roll her eyes and walk to the locker room.
Robert was also inside trying to place his bag and wristwatch in his locker space.
He brought out his uniform vest and his canvas.

She said worriedly looking at Jerry.

Rose said and walked out to the bathroom. Jerry also walked out of the locker room to see Olivia.

Jerry asked standing in front of Olivia who was so engrossed with her phone.
Olivia looked up.

She called.

Robert lower his head to the ground.
“Are you still planning to have her ki||ed? ”

She fell to the ground but the person remain firm and standing.
She looked up and saw someone wearing all black and a black mask which covered his face.

He called.
Rose quickly stood up. She couldn’t recognize his voice.
“Who are you?
She asked.
“I was sent to ki|| you…
He said and brought out a pocket knife, he released the blade and walk closer to her.
Rose began to move back as he comes a step closer.
“Please, let me live”
Rose pleaded for her life.

You have lived long enough, it’s time for you to join Maddie”
He said laughed wickedly.

Rose pleaded.

He replied and attacked her.
Rose escaped the hit of his knife as he stabs the empty air. She quickly got up from the ground after she fell and ran to the door but the man grabbed her by the stomach before she could reach the door.
“No where to run, rose…
Just stay here and die a peaceful death”
The man advised.
He hold rose tightly in his arms as Rose struggled to free herself.
He raise the knife up ready to stab her and instead rose gathered strength in her and bite his hand really hard. His groaned in pain and throw rose to the ground. He looked at rose angrily.
“You bastard”
His anger arose as he rushed to rose who was sitting against the bathroom’s wall.
Rose screamed in fear.

Olivia said.

Olivia interrupted him.

Rose keep trying to get away from him running round the bathroom. Rose already had a knife cut on her arm and face.
“No one is coming to save you… And no one can hear you,
It’s just Olivia and Jerry that are inside the eatery now”

The assassin said as he walk closer to her.
He dragged Rose’s legs and stab her left leg with the knife.
He squeeze the knife inside her as he laughed wickedly.
Rose screamed in pain, he was about to stab her in the chest when suddenly rose heard a loud bang.
He drop dead to the ground immediately. She looked up and saw Andrew.
She sighs and breathe out in relief.
“Hey, are you okay?”
Andrew asked as he stretched his hands and rub his finger.
Rose burst into tears.
Andrew walked to her and sat down with her before hugging her.
“It’s okay… You are safe now”
He patted her back.
“I can’t stand, Andrew..
Have been stab at the leg”
Rose said.

“Is he dead?”
Rose asked looking at the man’s unconscious body on the ground.
“No, he is going to wake up after some hours, I only hit him in the neck”
“In the neck? ”
“Yeah, I hit his carotid artery, it is blocked by now, and once it opens up, he is going to wake up”
Andrew replied.
(The carotid artery is one such area that is found in the neck which supplies blood to the brain, and if it’s compressed or blocked, it can lead to loss of consciousness)
“How do you know about that?”
Rose asked.
“Biology stuffs…
He replied and smile.
“So can we stop talking about how he passed out and get the hell out of here? ”
“Yeah sure…
Rose said and clean her tears.
Andrew removed his long tie and cover the stab wound on her leg. He carried her up in his arms with her long hair dangling in the air.
Rose looked at Andrew. Andrew noticed that and smile again.
“Am sorry for everything”
She said.
“Let’s get you home first”

Andrew replied and walked out of the bathroom.
Rose rest the side of her head gently on his chest..
“And don’t worry about him..
John will take care of him”
Andrew refered to the assassin on the ground.
