Episode Fifty-four.
”I will pay you back. Don’t hurt me, please,” Melanie whimpered as she felt blood in her mouth.
“How will you pay me back?” Zach said then laughed.
“Just let me get out of here, I will pay you any amount you want, just name it,” Melanie swallowed hard.
“You think I want any money? Huh?” Zach asked then grabbed her hair which made Melanie scream in pain.
”This is exactly what I want. I want you to scream for me. Like this,” Zach grinned.
Melanie creased her brow as she tried to comprehend what this man in front of her had just said.
Wh@ťěver it was, she hoped it wasn’t what she was thinking.
“You see… We have an unfinished business,” Zach drawled in an accent and licked her ear.
“W…what business?”
“This business, baby,” Zach smiled and cupped her Břě@šťs in his hands.
“N…no, please. D…don’t think of doing this to me. I’m sorry for w…what I did to you. I…I am extremely sorry. Please…” Melanie began to cry.
“Why? Come on, you’re going to love it, trust me,” Zach grabbed her chin then kissed her lips forcefully.
”I can’t get tired of these beautiful lips of yours. Mehn,” Zach groaned and kissed her lips while Melanie cried.
“I will do wh@ťěver you ask me to do, not this… Please,” Melanie cried.
“Then divorce Flynn and get married to me,” Zach growled.
“N…no. Never,” Melanie shook her head.
”So, just stay still and enjoy everything I do to you!” Zach yelled and slapped her hard across the face again which made Melanie fall hard and hit her head on the cold tiles then fell into oblivion.
“Ah… $h|t!” Zach pushed her and stood up.
” Boys!” He yelled and the guys rushed in almost immediately.
“Put the substance in this room. I will be back soon. I want her extremely high by the time I get back,” Zach ordered and his men bowed.
They moved out of the way for him and bowed till he walked out of the room.
As soon as they watched him leave the apartment, they rushed to the other room, moved the engine that drugs was inside, and placed it in the room Melanie was in. They covered their noses as one of the guys opened the gas, another rushed to lock the windows and when they were done, they hurried out of the room.
“I hope that girl won’t die before boss comes back,” a guy said as he lit his cigarette.
“She won’t die. She will just be very high and give herself willingly to him,” the second guy chuckled and everyone laughed.
“Mehn, that would be very sweet. Thinking about how sweet that girl would make me hãrd already,” the third guy laughed as he dipped his hand in his trousers then starts to strõke his diçk.
“Àsshole. You get hard easily,” the guy with a |scar laughed as he puffed his cigarette
“Trust me, I love the feeling,” the third guy said and everyone laughed.

“Are you sure you will be fine?” Kyle glanced at Elle who sat impatiently in the back seat.
“Trust me, I am fine. Devon, how long do we need to sit in this d@mn car before we get to where they are?” Elle shakes her leg.
“In about five minutes or so. Miss Elle, I am more eager than you are, I swear,” Devon mumbled as he increased the pace of the car.
Devon’s phone rang at the moment and he picked it up immediately.
“Where are you guys?”
“We will be there in about twenty minutes,” the caller answered.
“Hurry,” Devon said and hung the call.
“Who is that?” Kyle asked.
“Boss’ men from Texas,” Devon answered.
“Brother have men…”
“We’re almost here. We should not drive the car any further and it is for the best. We can’t let them know we are here,” Devon unfasten the seat belt and got out of the car.
“Can we get there from here?” Elle asked as she adjusted her trousers.
“yes, according to the map, we are here already, we just need to walk a little.
“Okay, let’s go then,” Kyle answered.
“Is that girl still sleeping?” Ralph, the guy with a scar across his face asked the guy he had ordered to go check on Melanie.
“Yes.”
“Did boss hit her or is she just fragile?” another guy asked.
“I bet boss hit her. We all know that he loves hitting people,” Ralph laughed and everyone joined him in laughing.
Gerald, another guy creased his brow as he stood from the chair he sat on. He was very sure he saw someone walk swiftly past the window.
“Where are you going to?” Ralph asked and everyone turned to look at him.
“I have a bad feeling someone is here,” Gerald answered.
“Here? Are you kidding? The only person that could come here is boss and that Italian woman,” Ralph hissed.
“I think he recently sees a hot lady naked body and couldn’t have access to it, if not, why would he think someone is here?” another joked and everyone laughed.
“I am serious. I will go have a look,” Gerald frowned and walked towards the door.
“Hey, pass me that lighter,” Ralph said to the guy opposite him as he put another cigarette in his mouth.
As soon as Gerald stepped out to check if he was right, a hard blow landed on his face and he shouted, “Bastàrds! I told you there was an intruder!” he screamed and Devon threw more punches on his face till he passed out.
“Heavily built for nothing,” Elle snorted as she stepped in with Kyle.
“I know, right?” Kyle smirked.
“I mean, how can he pass out after… Aish! That’s not fair,” Elle bit her lower lips as she successfully dodged the knife Ralph threw at her.
“It as been long we did this. How many years?” Kyle glared at the three men in front of them as he rested his hand on Elle’s shoulder.
“Eleven years! Dude, it was you who ran away from the taekwondo class,” Elle glanced at him.
”I love to fight bad guys for real,” Kyle twitched his tongue.
”Who are you guys?” Ralph dipped his hand in his pocket while the two other men stood behind him.
”Are you the boss? Well, we are the Harlan twins and our wife is in there,” Elle smirked and glanced at Kyle who nodded at her.
”You didn’t introduce me, I am the Harlan trusted man, Devon,” Devon entered, wearing an intimidating look.
“Hey, do you think this is a joke? Do you all want to dîe?” Ralph smirked.
“There are three men, one each. Hey, Devon, fight this man with a scar, he is too scary that I might have nightmares after today. Bro, you ready?” Elle winked at Kyle as she rolled the sleeve of her shirt.
”Leave here while I’m still nice,” Ralph said as he gestured to the men behind him to move forward.
“Sis, you still know how to do this right? I know you were the best in taekwondo class, but it has been eleven years,” Kyle said as he pushed Elle forward gently and stood behind her while he watched the man moving towards them.
“I was the best…and still the best. Trust me…” Kyle carried Elle up swiftly from behind when the guy reached where they were and sat on the guy’s stomach and began to hit his face while Kyle began to fight the other guy, then Devon faces Ralph.
After Elle had beaten the guy to her satisfaction, she stood up and rushed towards the door of the rooms, she opened the first one and no one was there, she opened the second one and it was also empty. As soon as she opened the third door, she coughed as she covered her nose with her palm tightly and moved back.
”Miss Elle! Stay back!” Devon shouted as he gave Ralph the last punch then rushed towards Elle.
“Don’t tell me she is in here?” Elle watched Devon rip his shirt without battling an eye.
“I think she is. Move away, don’t even try inhaling this, it is dangerous. I will go in and bring her out,” Devon said as he tied the piece of the shirt on his nose and entered the room.
“What’s going on?” Kyle hurried towards Elle.
“I… I don’t know. I think Melanie is in there,” Elle said as a drop of tears fell from her eyes.
“She will be fine, okay?” Kyle pulled her closer.
“I hope so. If that gas could be dangerous for me, then what about her? Especially with her current condition,” Elle sobbed gently.
”It’s…” Kyle started but stopped talking as soon as Devon staggered out of the room with Melanie in his arms.
“Lanie!” Elle cried out.
“We need to get to the hospital as soon as we can!” Devon shouted.
“She…she’s bleeding,” Kyle whispered as he pointed at the blood dripping down her thigh.
“Let’s hurry to the hospital! Now!” Elle cried.
Kyle removed the car key from Devon’s pocket and dashed out of the apartment while Devon and Elle hurried after him.
However, they all stopped on their track as soon as they saw Zach Tordoff outside the building, pointing a gun at them.
”How dare you come into my territory without my invitation?” Zach groaned.
Actually, when he was coming, he had noticed the car that was packed in the street, but he paid less attention to it. However, when he got to his building, he met the doors wide opened and he assumed immediately that something was amiss.
He tiptoed in and was very angry to see his men down. He wanted to run away, but why should he when there weren’t many men?
Well, because Flynn was unconscious, he believed that Devon was the only person there.
He called Hazel and told her to hide well because Flynn men probably knew that she was also involved.
When he saw Kyle and Elle, he grinned inwardly.
What a perfect way to kîll every member of the Harlan family, right?
“How dare you abduct someone from our family?” Kyle questioned back.
”You think you are like your brother? Don’t you dare exchange words with me. Oh, or are you the next Mafia in the family? I thought Flynn stopped being a mafia, are you planning on taking over?” Zach smirked and Kyle glanced at Devon.
“This won’t do, Mr. Kyle. I’ll settle things with him, take Mrs. Harlan to the car, and hurry to the hospital,” Devon whispered and Kyle nodded his head.
”Don’t you dare think of taking that woman from him, Flynn’s brother,” Zach pulled the trigger of the gun.
Devon bit his lower lips in frustration, what the hell was keeping those guys waiting?
This was the perfect time to capture Zach!
“This won’t do,” Zach targeted the gun at Melanie.
”Drop that lady, or I $h00t.”
“That won’t happen,” Devon shook his head.
Devon saw that Zach was about to $h00t the pistol and he turned swiftly to avoid the bullet to meet his boss’ wife.
”Argh!” Elle flinched and screamed as soon as the sound of the pistol filled the air.
She looked slowly at Devon who fell on his kneel, with Melanie still safely guarded in his arm.
Devon had collected a bullet, instead of Melanie and the shot met him right on his back.
Before anyone could say anything, a black Lamborghini car drove in with seven other cars of the same model and color.
“What the hell is this, bastârds!? Zach screamed and tried to $h00t another shot at Devon but realized the pistol was out of bullet.
”Aish! I told these bastàrds to load this pistol with bullets!” Zach yelled as he threw the pistol away in anger.
Five men, dressed fully in black, hurried out of the cars and ran towards them.
Kyle walked towards Devon and collected Melanie gently from him.
“Take her to the hospital, now,” Devon groaned in pain. I
“You are wounded too. You are going with us,” Elle cried.
“I…I have an unfinished business to attend to,” Devon answered.
“But…”
“If it gets too much, I will get treated here. There is medical personnel amongst these men,” Devon interrupted Kyle.
“You should go now. Madam needs to be attended to now,” Devon said.
One of the uniformed men hurried towards Kyle, bowed slightly and collected Melanie from him then dashed towards the car.
Elle and Kyle hurried inside the car while four other men followed in another car.
“Get him!” Devon pointed at Zach who was already looking miserable due to the punishment he was going to receive.
d@mn, he should have run away when he got the chance!
