“Please Jackie you should understand am sorry Omega..i can’t. I can’t leave my husband” she said.
“Give me the phone” Henderson said, coldly. He quickly handed the phone to him. She overheard him.
“Come to the palace right now” He said.
“I can’t…” Jackie replied. They have been friends for two years now. She is the only doctor he trust.
“Listen Jackie it’s urgent..” The king said.
“You know that it’s late. How do you expect me to come over” she replied.
“I understand. Okay. I will send the palace guards to come get you” the king said.
“What the heck?” She muttered.
“Tell me. What have you done this? Did you shift her womb this time around” she muttered.
“I didn’t…do that” He said, sharply.
“So what happened?” She asked.
“Actually i didn’t know that something happened, last night, i wasn’t around so saanvi pouched her on her stomach…. …so i had séx with her” he stuttered.
“So you want me to come…..i thought you said you have reduce her punishment, you….” Jackie said.
“Listen Jackie i pay you every month and if you are not in the palace in the next twenty minutes, i will shut down the hospital”
“Are you thr_@tening me?” She asked.
“Nah. Just come please, the guards are on there way to your house” the king said.
“Alright, i will be there” She said and parked up, the guards arrived at her house, she kissed her husband before leaving.
Fifteen minutes later, she arrived at the palace. She went straight to Amelia’s room, she opened the door and walked in. Amelia was surprised to see her. Though she has seen her once and she recognized her.
“Hi……” Jackie said with a smile.
“Hey! What are you doing here” Amelia said, trying to get up, but Jackie stopped her.
“Please lay down” She said with a smile.
“What are you doing?” Amelia asked staring at her.
“His royal highness asked me to come” She replied with a smile.
“There’s nothing wrong with me” Amelia said.
“Of course…. …don’t worry sweetie we will find out soon” She said, she lays on the bed as she said earlier, Jackie went straight her lower abdomen, she pressed it slightly.
“Ouch! What are you….am ok. …please stop” Amelia said, feeling pained, she pressed it again, slightly. She winced.
“Please …..it’s….let her do her job” Henderson said, cutting her off. She slowly removed her hands from Jackie’s hand.
“You have to take off your shirt” Jackie said, Amelia looked at her and the king, soon her maid walked in.
“You mean my robe…” Amelia stammered, blinking her eyelashes.
“Yes!” She replied with a smile and looked at Henderson, he looked away. Maya helped her remove her robe. Henderson sat on the couch and watched the doctor as she treated her, some minutes later she was done. She gave her a pain ki||er.
“You’ll be fine” Jackie said.
“Thanks” Amelia replied.
“You’re welcome” she muttered with a smile, she left with the king.
“I can’t believe you did that to her” She said
“I didn’t know that she was feeling pain down there” He said, feeling guilty.
“Anyways she will be fine and please am begging you, let her rest. And take care” she said with a smile and left with the palace guards. He returned back to her room. They were arguing.
“No I can’t take these…..” She paused and fold her lips. Henderson walked inside.
“Please leave us” Henderson said, calmly. She left. He pulled out a chair and sat beside her.
“Why didn’t you tell me about this?” Henderson asked.
“It’s wasn’t necessary” She replied.
“You think so?” He questioned.
“Yeah. I need to rest” She muttered, playing with her fingers. He stared at her face. He touched her face, slightly. He stood up, immediately she looked away from his side. He placed his hand on her bed. He brought his face closer to herHe stared at her face. He touched her face, slightly, he let his lips touch hers. Her breath became fast. Her heart began to race. It’s not as if it’s the first time touching her. She glanced at the door. She prayed silently that no one would come in, especially her maid. He noticed the way she keeps staring at the door. He gave a smile.
“Good night” He said and left. She sighed softly “thank goodness” she said to herself.

Saanvi sar on his bed, waiting patiently for the king. He opened the door and saw her sitting on his bed. He walked in, but not her direction.
“What do you want?” Henderson asked.
“I came here for you” Saanvi said with a smile. She walked closer to him, she touched his chest.
“You should be in your room right now. It’s late you know” He said and walked away from her.
“I couldn’t get some sleep. I guess you are the reason” She said, with a seductive smile.
“I’m really tired right now. Let’s talk about this tomorrow” He said.
“Seriously? you have been acting this way..ever since that Ɓîtçh came to this palace”
“Saanvi you dare not to raise your voice on me. I owe you no explanation. She’s my property and i will do wh@ťěver i want to do with her” He said, angrily.
“Get out” He added.
“Am sorry your majesty…i don’t know what came over me” She said in tears. “Leave” He mumbled, she walked out his room in tears. He lay on the king size mattress, staring at the ceiling. He couldn’t get some sleep. He suddenly get up and walked to the window, he fixed his eyes on the lovely creatures. As if it wasn’t enough, he left his room with a bottle of whiskey and a glass cup. He went to the garden, he sighed and sat down. He opened the bottle and poured out the drink on the cup and sip it, slowly.
“Mom, Dad…i have taken revenge on him. I have his kingdom, his company and his daughter” He said.
“But I don’t know why my heart has decided to play some tricks with me. I think there’s something wrong somewhere” He said and sip from his glass.

“Maya you shouldn’t risk your night for me. Please go to your room” Amelia said.
“I can’t leave you like this, i just wanna be sure that you’re OK before I leave” Maya said. Amelia chuckled softly.
“Com’on the doctor said that i will be fine. Thank goodness it wasn’t the day of my mensuration..i wonder what would’ve happened if it had been on the second day” Amelia said.
“I h@ťě that saanvi of a girl. She’s too proud. She has nothing” Maya said.
“Don’t forget she’s the king’s mistress” Amelia said, laughing. Maya joined her. “Mistress indeed. What would have happened if she is the princess or queen. She will ki|| people just to get what she wants” Maya said. Amelia looked at her. “Maya! Enough! you shouldn’t talk bad about your follow woman” Amelia said.
“Am not..am only saying the truth and what my eyes sees” Maya mumbled.
“I know. She has right to fight…let’s forget about this. You should go to bed” Amelia said.
“Okay. But am staying here tonight…please…….” Maya said with a smile.
“Okay. Who am i to say no to you” she replied.
“You’re the princess. You can say no if you want” Maya muttered with a smile. “Of course. But i can’t say no to you” She replied. She made space for her to lay on the bed. It was a big one.
Henderson slept while thinking about his life, he regret shouting on saanvi. He didn’t mean to. Omega saw him laying on the wooden bench and a bottle of whiskey, he thought the king was drunk. He tried to carry him to his room.
“Omega am fine. Am not drunk.please let me spend some time outside here.i want to feel this fresh air. It’s been a while” Henderson said. Omega nods and stood beside him.
“You should be in your room” Henderson said.
“How can I sleep when the king is awake” He replied, Henderson looked at him and chuckled softly.
“Please go to your room. I will be fine” He said, Omega wanted to insist on staying with him, but he has to obey him.

Next Morning?
The king went to Amelia’s room, to know how she is doing. He couldn’t sleep last night.
“Good morning your majesty” Maya greeted, bowing her head.
“Good morning. How is she doing?” He asked staring at Amelia.
“She’s fine your majesty” She replied.
“Tell her to come to my room, when she wakes up” The king said and left. He returned to his room, Omega was in his room.
“It should be your day off” The king said.
“Your Highness….you need rest i appreciate your effort” Henderson said, cutting him off.
“Thank you. Your majesty…please don’t be offended. It will be be a two days leave” He said, Henderson looked at him and smiled.
“Two? It’s too small. Just go for two weeks..i won’t complain. You’ve been a great person and friend” he said.
“Your highness, two days will be fine” Omega said, smiling.
“Okay. Wh@ťěver you say” Henderson said with a smile.
