Amelia came downstairs for dinning, everyone was there waiting for her. She sat down and her eyes went to his seat, which was empty. She felt a tear flowing from her eyes. Maya saw her, but she quickly wiped off the tears. The maids came in and served everyone of them.
After eating, everyone went to their room, except Amelia who went to the garden, she sat down and spent time alone.
“Is that how you want you to do this?”
“Leaving me alone in this cold weather. You promised me that you won’t leave me. But you’re not keeping it”
“I’m keeping the promises i made to you. I ate this night and hopefully I will eat in the morning. Henderson i love you.
You’re always the first to say it to me. But i do. Am not ready to lose you, i want us to stay and grow old together. But there you’re in the hospital, laying down. Leaving I and your child” She paused and sighed.
“Sometimes I wonder why I keep going through a lot of pain. One minute am happy the other minute am sad”
“Why’s my life like that? Why? Why? God. You said it’s written that you’re God and you sees everything.
Can you see my pain? Can you see that am going through a lot of pain?
Why can’t it end?” She yelled and fell on the floor crying. Their loving moment came to her memory as she shed more tears.

Ethan walked to Maya who wasn’t sleeping, she was seated on the sofa pressing her phone.
“Babe…” She muttered on seeing walk in without knocking. “Where’s the princess?”
“Amelia.?” She questioned. “Yeah! Where’s she?” He asked.
“She should be in her room… She is not in her room neither is she in the king’s bedroom”
“What?” Maya yelled and stood up, they rushed out of the room together. He alert the royal guards and bodyguards. They went to different directions and Ethan questioned the guards.
“Are you sure that, she didn’t leave the palace”
“Yes sir. We have been standing at the gate. We didn’t see the princess”One of the guard said.
“She’s missing, i can’t find her in her bedroom. She’s not in any of the room”
“What if she’s with the prince? Her brother.” The guard muttered. “Let’s go check” He ordered and they followed him to Richard’s room, but she wasn’t there. He saw Richard sleeping, he didn’t disturb him they left.
Amelia.. Amelia..” Maya called out her name. Amelia quickly wiped off her tears and stood up, she moved a little bit closer to see if she was still there. Maya came through the back.
“Amelia!” She muttered. “Hi Maya”
“What are you doing out here?” Maya asked. “Nothing…it’s bored in there” Amelia said.
“And I didn’t want to disturb you guys.”
“We’ve been looking for you. Ethan and I thought you left the palace.”
“I didn’t. ..” She muttered and glanced at the stars and gave a little smile. “You were thinking about him”
“Yes! I want to see him” Amelia mumbled. “Lemme call Ethan and tell him not to worry that I’ve found you and am here with you” Maya muttered, she called him and he picked up. She told him that she has found her and she’s here with her. He was happy and he discharged the guards. They went to there duty post.
THE UNKNOWN
“We’re always victorious, we are made to be victorious, cheers to our victory” The unknown said, happily.

All we have to do right now is to get the documents of the house and company” The unknown said with a smile and sipped from the glass filled with whiskey.
“I can’t wait to rule the entire Rome.”
NEXT MORNING
Amelia woke up very early, she went to the bathroom and took her bathe. She came out and dressed up and opened the door, she saw her best friend and Ethan standing they were about to knock.
Ethan was there to let her know that he will be leaving for the hospital. Amelia was surprised on seeing, but tried to hide it. She never wants to tell him that she is going out.
“Are you going out? Princess Amelia” Ethan asked. “Yeah..”
“Where are you going?”
“I want to see Henderson. Please..” She pleaded with both hands together. “I can’t let you go out there. It’s not safe there
“It’s safe here. He was poisoned right here in his palace.” Amelia half yelled. “It’s my duty to protect you. I promised the king that i will protect you”..
“Stop saying all this. I only want to see the king, please”
“Maya..” He called, while Amelia was pleading. “Yes..”
“Take care of princess Amelia. Am going to the hospital”
“Ethan… Am still here you’re supposed to walk out of me. I’m princess Amelia and Henderson’s fianceé. I order you to leave my way”
“I’m sorry, your highness. I can’t back off. It’s a promise that i made to the king”
“Maya please talk to him. Talk to your fianceé, tell him to let me go to the hospital. Please”
“Amelia.. Please stop doing this. You’re acting like a crazy woman” Maya mumbled.
“Crazy? Yes am crazy. Am crazy. I don’t care what you say about me but please lemme see him” Amelia yelled, and grabbed her hair as she demonstrate.
“Amelia please stop doing this. Please stop, Henderson won’t be happy if he sees you like this”
Think about his grandma, how she will feel when she finds out that her grand son is in the hospital. Think Amelia. Think” Maya scold. Amelia didn’t stop crying.
“Your highness I promise, you will go see when he recovery.” Ethan said. “Take care of yourself and please eat something” Ethan added and left.
Maya couldn’t help but shed tears as she watches Amelia cry. She wiped off her tears.
“Breakfast is ready” Maya mumbled. “Am not hungry..”
“Seriously? Because I didn’t talk to Ethan” She said. “You don’t know what am going through. You think am mad right” .
“No!” She replied. Amelia chuckles, “Is this what love is all about? Why’s my life this way?” “Always suffering. It’s all problems.”
“Stop this Amelia.” Maya mumbled. “I can’t. Maya am pregnant and the father of my child is laying there in the hospital”
“Who’s this new enemy? Why is he after the king’s life?” Amelia asked. “I can’t answer this questions”
Amelia sighs heavily. “Do you want to say something?”
“Maya am 18 weeks pregnant. And I have a feeling that i will be leaving this palace anytime soon”
“What do you mean?”
Saanvi sat down, she has heard the news about the king. She became scared and a lot of things were coming into her mind.
“Could it be that Raj wants to ki|| the king?”
“I need to call him” She picked up her phone, she then remember that she wiped off his number after what he told her.
“Oh goodness! What do i do?” She asked, herself. She was still thinking when her personal maid came in and distracted her.
“Good morning, my lady. Breakfast ready”
“Is Amelia at the dinning?” Saanvi asked. “No my lady, she hasn’t come yet. Sir left this morning and Maya is here” She replied.
“I didn’t ask you all these. Take care” Saanvi said and bow then left. Saanvi adjusted her dress and came down for breakfast.
Amelia and Maya came down for breakfast, the food were dished out. They ate, but Amelia couldn’t finish up her meal.

FORTY MINUTES LATER
Ethan went to room were he was kept. He was still laying down, he went closer and kissed his hand..
“Please get well soon.” Ethan mumbled. “I know you can fight. You’re a fighter” Ethan said, some minutes a nurse came in and checked him, she asked him to let him be alone.
He walked out and went to the doctors’ office. “Doctor he hasn’t regain conscious”
“Mr Ethan. Thank goodness he was brought here on time. You just have to pray that he will survive this”
“Luckily we flushed out the poison in his system.” He said and sighed. “We are just waiting for him to regain conscious.” The doctor added.
“Alright. Thank you doc, i will come back later to check on him” Ethan said and shook the doctor before leaving.
Thirty minutes later, Ethan returned to the palace. He couldn’t face Amelia, he thought that he will get a good news about the king.
Amelia sat down with Maya in the garden, Maya was doing everything to keep her happy.
“Your fianceé isn’t back yet?” Amelia asked. “Com’on am here with you. He will be back soon” Maya replied.
“I wanna go in, it’s bored here” Amelia muttered and stood. Maya looked at her and also stood up..
“You don’t have to follow me. Am fine” Amelia said and walked out. Maya followed her immediately.
“Amelia.. I know you want to leave the palace. Please Ethan will be back soon”
“Don’t you understand Maya.?” Amelia questioned. “I understand you Amelia” Maya replied.
No you don’t understand, because you’re not in my situations. Maya am pregnant and the father of my child is laying in the hospital” Amelia half yelled.
“Amelia i know. You’ve said this before. Let’s take things easy. I believe everything will be fine, please let’s wait a little for Ethan to come to the palace” Maya muttered.
