When Henderson left to get something, I saw the maid coming towards the spot we were staying. I asked her to get me water, she bowed and left to get the water.
Some minutes later, she came back with the water. By then Henderson has arrived at the place, he drank from his drink.
“Here’s the water” The maid muttered. I pointed at the table, she dropped it and left. I smiled as he continued drinking from.
Flash back end.
I smiled wickedly, “you’re dead king Henderson Harry” the unknown said, laughing, evilly. After talking with him, i left the palace.

Maya and Amelia went for a walk around the palace, they chatted and laughed. Amelia went to Henderson while Maya and Ethan were together.
Henderson and Amelia were in the bedroom, they discussing she noticed how constantly he hold his chest and make a painful facial expressions.
“Are you okay?” She asked. “I think so” Henderson replied, holding his chest.
“What do you mean, by you think so?” She asked, trying to touch him. “Stay back. Don’t come closer” He warned.
“Henderson please stop this, you’re getting me scared” She muttered and he began to cough out blood.
“How? How’s this possible? Amelia muttered, holding him. Her body were shaking.
She rushed out of the room, to call Ethan who came running upstairs. He saw his best friend laying on the floor, coughing out blood.
Amelia kept calling him. When he saw his friend laying on the floor. He fell on his knees “Henderson..Henderson please wake up..” Amelia said in tears.
“Babe… I want to say something. Am sorry for everything that happened in the past. You know for a long time I’ve been waiting for my punishment and i think the time has come.
Maybe this is my punishment for hurting you. Am sorry. I love you so much” He managed to say, while coughing out blood.
“Henderson, please stop saying this. I’ve forgiven you. You promise me that we’ll train our kids together and we’ll grow old together.” She said, in between her sobs.
She looked at him, hoping that he will say something. But he wasn’t saying anything to her. “Henderson please stop this joke and talk to me” She yelled at him.
“He’s not responding call the ambulance right away” Ethan yelled.
Maya was there with Ethan, she called the ambulance it wasn’t up to ten minutes the ambulance arrived.
“If anything happens to him i won’t be able to forgive myself. Am the reason why he was coughing out blood.” Amelia said.
No honey please don’t say that, remember your condition you need rest Ethan said.” I will go with him to the hospital” He added.
“Ethan please let me come with you” Amelia plead with both hands.
“No princess. Maya please take care of her, you will go see him tomorrow morning” Ethan rushed his words.
Amelia nods in agreement, but deep down she wants to follow Ethan to the hospital, Ethan left for the hospital. The whole place becomes as quiet as a graveyard.
“Maya i wanna go to the hospital i need see him. I want to see Henderson Amelia said.
“You can’t go please please, nothing will happen to him” Maya comfort her.
“Do you think he will survive? We just got engaged, I thought everything will be okay. But he’s wants to leave me now. How will i cope with this. I don’t want to lose him.” Amelia sobbing.
” He’s a good man and a strong man. He will fight” Maria said with a little smile.
Amelia fake a smile, ” i know that’s a fake smile, i need a real smile, i want my Amelia who always smile for no reason” Maya said.
Amelia smiled…”i love that smiles..” She replied with a smile.
“What would you like to eat” Maya asked.
“Am not hungry. I don’t feel like eating anything” Amelia replied and wiped her tears, that can’t stop falling.
“Please Amelia remember that you’re pregnant. Don’t starve yourself and your baby” Maya said.
Amelia sighed softly and gave her a little smiled, “I don’t feel hungry, i just want to see him” Amelia said.
“Please even if you don’t want to, just do for the sake of your unborn child” Maya said with a smile.
“Alright” Amelia replied, as she remembered the promise she made to Henderson. It made her shed more tears, she quickly wiped them.
THE UNKNOWN
He should be dead by now. I poisoned him right in his palace. I can’t wait to hear that he’s dead. I will make sure your kingdom is mine. Henderson”

“Not now let’s wait until we get the good news” A thought came.
” As long as i put the substance myself, he’s dead already”

HOURS PASSED
“How’s he doing” Ethan asked the doctor.”Sir his condition is critical all he needs now is prayer” the doctor said.
Ethan broke down in tears and wiped them, a thought of losing his best friend came to his mind. “Can I see him please” Ethan asked.
“No you can’t sir” The doctor replied. He peeped through the transparent glass. He was him laying down and the machine kept reading and some wires were connected to his body.
Some minutes later, He went to the doctor’s office. And they had a few discussion before he left.

“You think Henderson will be fine. He made a promise that he won’t leave me and my baby” She muttered and touched her belly.
“Let’s just hope that he will be fine Maya said. “Why’s Ethan not yet back?” She asked worriedly.
” Don’t worry he will be back” Maria said.
“So tell me what you would like to eat for dinner” Maya asked, trying to brighten up her mood.
“Anything! tell the maids to prepare anything i can’t think of any other food”
Amelia said.
“Alright, please be safe and don’t try to do anything crazy” Maya mumbled she left her bedroom, she went to the kitchen, she told the maids what to cook for dinner, they nod in response.
Maya came back to the room, she looked around the room, Ashley was not in the room.
“Amelia. Amelia…..” Maria called, soon she came out of the bathroom.
“Why are you yelling my name” Amelia asked, walking towards the wardrobe.
You scared me, i thought you have left for the hospital Maya said. “You know that i would do that”
“Yeah! I know you very well” She muttered. “Am here, so stop yelling and bothering yourself” Amelia replied.
They were still talking to each other, when Maya’s phone started ringing. she picked up the phone and slide it to the right side.
“Hello” Maya said with a smile. “Hi! How are you doing? Am sorry i didn’t call earlier to know how you guys are doing. you. How’s she doing i hope she’s calm now” Ethan muttered.
“Yeah everything is going well for now” Maya replied, glaring at Amelia.
“Alright please take care. Am on my way to the palace” Ethan said and hang up.
“Is that him? Ethan?” Amelia asked.
“Yes. He’s on his way to the palace”Maya replied.
“Did he say something about Henderson?” Amelia asked.
“No! He will when he’s back” She replied and dropped the phone. Amelia was laying down on the bed, because Maya told her to have some rest. A maid knocked, Maya asked to the maid to come in, which she did.
“Your highness sir is back”The maid said and left. Immediately Amelia heard her, she came down from the bed.
“Hey! Take it easy” Maya mumbled. Amelia rolled her eyes. They left the room together, they met Ethan who sitting on the couch, thinking.
“What happened babe” Maya asked.
“What happened to him?” Amelia asked.
“The doctor said that he’s condition is critical he doesn’t know if he will survive he needs our prayers” Ethan said and sighed.
“Did you get to see him” Amelia asked.
“No. The doctor said that i can’t see him and touch my friend. I only saw him through the transparent glass. He’s eyes were closed” Ethan mumbled and bow his head.
“It’s okay Ethan everything will be fine” Maya assured him.
“We don’t know who’s behind this. Am scared” Amelia mumbled.
“What if it’s Saanvi?”Maya asked. “We can’t just say that she’s the one behind this. I don’t see any why she would poison the king” Ethan replied.
“This person wants to have the king’s kingdom and his company.” Maya said. “Can I go to the hospital tomorrow to see him?” Amelia asked.
“Please” She added. “Listen princess, Henderson is not here. It’s my duty to protect you, your brother and her majesty'”
“You mean i can’t go see him. I want to see him” Amelia said, crying.
“Amelia please stop crying every thing will be fine. You’ll see him.” Maya said.
“Com’on lemme take you to your room, so that you can freshen up, the food is almost ready” Maya muttered.
She took her to her bedroom, Amelia entered the bathroom, while Maya was in the room, she brought out her night wear.
Some minutes later, she came out of the bathroom, with a towel tied round her body.
“Here’s your night wear” Maya said, pointing at the clothe on the bed. “Thank you”
“When you are done please come downstairs” Maya said.
“Thank you Maya. You’re the best” Amelia mumbled, Maya smiled, “You’re welcome” she said and left the room.
