Amelia was still in her room when a knock came to the door, she quickly rushed to open the door thinking it was the king only to find a maid. The maid bow immediately she sight the princess standing in front of her.
“Am sorry your highness” She apologized. Amelia sighed, she sees no reason she is apologizing.
“What do you want?” She asked. “Is the king back?'” She added.
“No your highness. I want to inform you that lunch is ready” She replied and bow. “Alright, you can leave..” Amelia muttered, the maid bow and left. She shut the door and returned to the bed.
“I thought it was Henderson. Or maybe she is here to tell me that the king is back”
“Oh gosh! I can’t stay a day without thinking of him. He didn’t even call or drop a message before leaving” She thought.
Ethan dropped him off, Henderson waved at him and he drove off with his car, he smile once again and entered the palace compound. The royal guards and bodyguards bowed their heads on seeing him, he only smile at them and walked into the building. He arrived at his doorstep his guards were on duty, he discharged them quietly they bow and left. He knocked on the door, She was in the bathroom when the knock came.
He repeated the knock on the door, by then she is out. She dragged her lazy self to the door, thinking it was still the maid. She opened the door, immediately a smile escaped her lips. She didn’t mind the condition she is into, she jumped on him, the stuff he was holding fell off his hands. He welcomed her into his arms and pat her back.
“I’ve missed you so much” She whispered to his ears. “I missed you too” He replied and carried her into the room, he kept her on the bed.
“I will be right back” He muttered, she nods with a smile. He picked up the stuff he was holding. He returned to her.
“How are you feeling?”
“I was feeling bad, but am okay now. Am glad you’re back” She replied.
“What about grandma?” She stammered. “She’s safe” He replied.
“What do you mean?” She asked, with a fixed gaze. “We went there and saved her. So she’s okay”
“Thank goodness.. I hope she didn’t get hurt?” She
“Don’t worry, she’s fine. She’s at the hospital” He muttered. “That’s good…” She added with a nod.
“I hope you are okay? I mean hope you didn’t get hurt during the operation” She asked, checking his arms and touching his face. She just remind him of his mother. She always asked him these questions when escaped from anything bad.
“Am fine” He replied and caress her face. “Okay..”
“You remind me of my mom. She always asked me these questions when get in danger” He said, she didn’t utter a word, but smiled.
“That reminds me, have you eaten?”
“U..hm!” She stammered. “Am sorry…”
“You didn’t eat anything? It’s afternoon already. Did you eat anything this morning?” He asked. She nods
“I don’t get your nods.” He muttered, confused.
“I ate in the morning.” She replied. “And lunch?'” He questioned.
“I will eat, the maid came here some minutes ago” She replied. “I’ve told you whenever am not around, get something and eat. You have money with you buy wh@ťěver you want. Am not gonna question you” He scolded her, in a low tone. “You’re pregnant. You’re carrying a baby, please don’t starve him and yourself too” He added. She didn’t utter, but stared at him.
“Promise me that you’ll eat, when am not around. Even if am dead” He said.
“Don’t say that. Don’t use the d word, please” She mumbled. “Alright,am sorry but promise me that you’ll when am away”
“I promise” She replied. “Make sure you keep it” He replied and opened the package, he bought on his way back.
“I got your favorite food. Spicy salsa, Hot Cheetos” He mumbled. “Thank you” She replied.
She ate and Henderson only watched her as she eat. He doesn’t like spicy food, after eating. They dressed up for the hospital.

Henderson and Amelia went to the hospital to see his grandma, she was laying on the bed when he entered the ward.
“Sweetie” He called as he walked in. He pulled a chair and sat down, holding her soft hands.
“My puppy….” She called, touching his cheek with smiles, mixed with tears on her face.
“How are you feeling now. Am sorry for making you go through this pain” he said, sadly.
“It’s ok dear. Everything has a reason. Am glad you came to save me.” she said.
“Thank God for everything” he mumbled, staring at her as she smiled. “Where’s Amelia?” She asked.
“She went to see the doctor for some check up” He replied.
“I hope she is fine?” She asked. “Grandma, don’t panic. She is fine and am sure that the baby is fine” He replied and immediately Amelia came to the ward, with a smile on her face as she saw Miranda.
“Grandma..” She called and kissed her right cheek. “My dear, i was asking of you, Henderson told me that you went to see the doctor for some check up” Miranda said.
“Yes granny. Am fine. You know it’s normal for everything pregnant woman to visit the hospital” Amelia replied.
“Yes my dear” She replied. “Babe have a seat” Henderson said and stood up.
“Are you going out?” She asked. “Yes, i will be back soon” He replied, Miranda laid watching them, she still can’t believe that Henderson would fall in love, after the death of his parents. He became heartless.
“Granny.. I will be back soon” He mumbled and kissed her cheek. “Won’t you give me a kiss?” He asked, staring at Amelia.
She gasped and shook her head negatively. “Why?” He asked.
“I can’t… I thought you wanted to leave”
The doctor wants to see you” She grinned her teeth. He chuckles and steal a kiss from her, before leaving the ward. She smiled and sighed softly. She turned to Miranda who was just smiling.
“Granny am sorry about that. He’s being silly” She muttered. “How are you feeling now?” She asked.
“I just that everything will be okay. I was told that i can go back to the gym, but i met that unfortunate being on my way home.”
“Am sorry about that. I know that everything will be okay” She mumbled and get hold of her hand, she caress them.
‘Amelia dear!” Miranda called. “Yes…” She replied, with a fixed gaze.
“Thank you” She muttered, Amelia looked at her surprisingly, wondering why she’s thanking her. She knows that she hasn’t done anything for her and even if she has, she shouldn’t thank her.
“Granny please don’t say that again. I haven’t done anything yet and even if I have you shouldn’t thank me”
“I should..” Mrin. ‘No Her majest….Please Amelia, i have to” She cut her off. Amelia became quite to listen to what she has to say.
“Thank you for coming into his life and forgiving him. I can’t believe that Henderson will fall in love some day. He went through a lot, the same way you went to. I pray that the both of you will grow old and the love will always be there.
Looking at Henderson he doesn’t want to lose you and same goes to you. Please don’t hurt him and I know Henderson very well and i promise you that he won’t hurt you” Miranda muttered and touched her cheek.
“I promise i won’t hurt him” Amelia replied. “Thank you..” She muttered and raised her hand, staring at the wire contact to her hand.
“You’ll be fine, okay” Amelia said, she nods. Soon the nurse entered, she checked her, after some minutes she slept off. Amelia sat there staring at her, when Henderson walked in. She glanced at him, Ethan and Maya came in, she went to her and hugged her.
“How’s she doing?” Maya said, more like a whisper. “She’s fine, the nurse just attended to her some minutes ago” Amelia replied.
