Ethan woke up and stared at Maya who was sleeping peacefully like a baby, he kissed her forehead and walked to the bathroom. He stayed in there for up ten minutes.
He came out with a towel on his waist, he went to the closet, to his surprise it was filled with different kind of shirt and trousers and shorts too. He look at the sleeping beauty and smiled.
He was confused on what he will wear to work today. He ran his hand in his wet hair. “I will go for this one” He said and brought the blue shirt and black trouser. He sighed softly and turned to see her awake.
He smiled on his her sleepy face, he walked close and gave a morning kiss. “Good morning..” She greeted, rubbing her eyes with her back palm.
“Good morning sweet heart. How was your night?”
“Lovely. The best night ever and yours” She replied, with a smile. “Awesome and lovely too. The best night ever” Ethan said.
“You’re just coming out of the shower?” She asked, knowing fully well he is just coming out and his body is wet.
‘Yup! You wanna use the bathroom?” He asked. “Yeah! I will be right back” She replied and left for him to dress up. She finished urinating and brushed before coming out.
She couldn’t him in the room, she went downstairs yelling his name and finally she found him cooking.
“I thought you are going to work this morning?'” Maya asked, on seeing him in the kitchen.
“Yeah! But I have to prepare something for you to eat when am away” He replied, she smiled and hugged him from behind.
“You’re so sweet” She muttered and kiss his cheek. He smiled at her. “Can I help you anything?” She asked.
“No sweetheart…but you should do one thing for me please” He said with a smile. “Okay..what’s that?” She asked, smiling.
“I want you to go to the living room and chill. I will call you when breakfast is ready” He said, her smile dropped.
“Nah! I wanna stay here with you. Okay i promise i won’t touch anything, but watch you cook” She muttered.
“Sure about that?” He questioned and glance at her. “Yes babe” She replied, He looked at her on her last word.
“Okay….have a seat” He said…
“I can’t believe that you wouldn’t find your way here and other things in the kitchen” She said…
“Com’on babe…am a chef and my brain is very fast and my eyes capture things so fast” He replied, smiling.
They talked for some time, twenty minutes later the food is ready, he dished out the food and served her. She ate the food and murmured…”Uhmm! You’re good at this” She recommended.
“Am glad you like it” He replied. “Like? I love it. Thank you Ethan” She muttered.
“You’re welcome. Eat your food and make sure you take your medicine. Before leaving for anything” He said. She nods.
He finished eating and headed to the room, he dressed up and came down stairs. “You’re great in these wears” She said.
“Thank you” He replied and kissed her. “Have a great day. Don’t get yourself stressed out” She said.
“I should be the one saying that to you. Don’t get yourself stressed out. Please…” He said and grabbed his phone. He kissed her and left the house, she a gave sigh and bite her lips…
Henderson woke up and did his morning routine, he headed to the court room, he was informed about an emergency meeting with his cabinets, the cabinets were all seated and waiting for him, patiently.
They were having a conversation before he came in. They stood up and greeted him respectfully. He gave them a signal to sit down as he sat down.
“Your highness…we’ve been waiting for the queen it’s already a month now'” Jefferson said.
“Jefferson I understand and i still ask for a little time”
“Your highness, we’ve waited for a month now. That’s why I suggest that king Luciano’s daughter should come to the palace. And you don’t have to worry about it, I’ve already wrote a little to him and he has accepted that princess Lucy will be here”
“Why? Why would you do that without telling me?
“Your highness, you haven’t made any attempts to look for a wife. That’s why i suggested that you should spend time with princess Lucy. She is a graduate and very beautiful and well behaved girl” Jefferson said.
He sighed softly, the court room was silent. They were waiting for his permission. Henderson stared at them.
“Fine. Let her come to the palace” He said and stood up and walked out of the court room. He had no other option, since king Luciano has already accepted that princess Lucy should come to his palace.
The cabinets left the court room, they kept talking to each other as until they left the palace.
Amelia woke up and didn’t find him on the bed, she yawn and stretched out her hands. She dragged herself to the bathroom. She removed her clothes and had her bathe.
Henderson words didn’t stop ringing in her ears. She smiled and giggled. “I can’t believe you feel the same way i feel. I can’t wait to have you” She said to no particular.
She smiled and walked out of the bathroom, she changed into something nice and went downstairs to have breakfast.
Saanvi was present, she looked at Henderson sit it was empty. She wondered where he would have gone, “he didn’t tell me that he will be absent during breakfast” She thought.
The maids served her and Saanvi, they began eating. Saanvi was still eating when her maid walk in and whisper something to her ears, her expressions shows that something happened.
Amelia watched them as they smiled, Saanvi stood up and left without finishing up her meal.
She watched them hopelessly as they walked out of the dinning, she doesn’t have anyone to talk to. She managed to eat her food, but didn’t request for another one. She wasn’t happy about everything, firstly Henderson leaving without calling her. And Saanvi too.
Amelia went to the bedroom, on getting to her room. Her mobile phone has been ringing, she rushed and picked it up. She didn’t say anything.
“Good morning babe..” Henderson muttered. “Good morning..” She replied and sat on the bed.
“Am sorry, i didn’t tell you that i won’t have breakfast. I hope you’ve eaten” He muttered.
“Yeah.. Am bored here. I want to go out of the palace, please. I can’t stay here” She muttered, Henderson noticed the crack in her voice.
“Alright, stay right there. I will come pick you up'” Henderson said, more like a command.
“Okay…” She replied and waited for him patiently.
Saanvi and her personal maid were in the bedroom, her maid closed the door, to avoid someone hearing their conversation.
“Are you sure about this thing you said?” Saanvi asked, surprised.
“Yes! My lady. I overheard their conversation. Your highness gave an approval, princess Lucy will be coming to the palace” The maid said.
“Okay…when is she coming to the palace?” Saanvi asked.
“I don’t know when she is coming. But since has given his approval she will be here anytime”. The maid replied
“Alright, thanks for this information. Have this” Saanvi said with a smile and gave some money.
“Thank you my lady.” The maid said and bow. “You can leave” Saanvi muttered.
The maid left her room, Saanvi sat down and wondered why the cabinets would make such decision..
Henderson came back to the palace and took her to the park with bodyguards following her everywhere she goes. Henderson wasn’t there with her, he went to the company…
“Good morning your highness” His secretary greeted.
“Good morning Maria, please get me the files. And I’ve done files too. You have to go through it…and i won’t spend much time here.
Mr Ethan is no longer working with us. He is now a CEO and his company is in Naples”
“Oh my God it’s a good news. Am very happy for him and would miss him” Maria said…
“Alright Miss back to business. The files”Henderson said, she left to get the files, she return with the files.
“Take this ones” Henderson rushed his words. He was checking the files when a call came to his phone. “Amelia?” He questioned. It hasn’t been 15 minutes since he left the park.
“Hello sweetie” He muttered. “Babe…am missing you. Where are you? I don’t like the fact that your bodyguards follow me everywhere i go” She mumbled staring at them.
“I told you i was going to the company. I will be there okay…” He said, he heard her sigh hopelessly.
“Babe….i assign them. Okay. They are doing there job. I will be there” He rushed his words and packed up the files and left the company.
