Henderson sat beside her, “Granny i love her so much…”
“You are just like your father,i remember when he met your mom for the first time. He said mom i have found my woman, i have found the one i want to spend the rest of my life with. I have found love, am so much in love with her, she is like the light that shine in darkness…now i understand what love is all about”
“Your son is a real lover boy..all these for my mom” He said and chuckled.
“Yes the same way you are now.. Don’t forget he your father, you spoilt brat” Granny said.
“You are the one who spoiled me..with much love” He said, smiling.
“You’re my little puppy”
“Granny am a grown man now..and i will be a father soon. You are still calling me puppy…oh gosh”
“What….? You like it whenever I call you that” Granny said.
“Granny that was then, am a grown man” He replied with a smile.
“Oh …goodness wh@ťěver am not talking about you again…” She said.
“Why?” He questioned with a little frown.
“How is she doing?” She asked, ignoring his question.
“And…..” She paused, she id finding it difficult to talk about the baby, he stared at her. “Her baby…”
“Baby is fine..” He responded and sighed softly. He felt bad about everything.
“We just have to keep praying for the baby….it’s the joy of every woman, after the pain in labour, the joy is the baby” Granny said.
“That’s true…” He buried his head on the floor, for a while, he decided to change the conversation.
“So when are you coming? She really wants to see you”
“Son, i will come, tell her that i will come see her. Please take care of her you know she has no one”
“Yeah…i know. I will take care of her”
“Won’t you eat something before leaving”
“Am filled, forgiven me has made me satisfied. She is waiting for me, she is the only one there and i have to tell her that you have forgiven me”
“Alright son, take care of her. She is more important to me”
“Seriously she is important than me” Henderson asked, staring at her with his eyes wide open.
“She is still a baby….” Miranda muttered.
“Wh@ťěver…am a baby too” He said.
“No you are a grown man, take care of yourself” Granny said, and chuckled.
“And you too granny, i love you so much” He said and kissed her cheek before leaving.
Henderson came back to the palace with smiles on his face, he walked to his room, he smiled at her as she hugged him tightly.
“You will hurt the baby” He said, concerned.
“Nah…my belly is not yet big. So tell me about this beautiful smile on your cute face, your highness. What’s the smile about?” She said.
“Well your lover is very much happy today, is the greatest and happiest day of my life”
“Really? Tell ….tell me tell me..tell me what happened” She said and smiled.
“Come sit down here” She muttered and directed him to the sofa, he sat down, still smiling…
“Tell me…” She said. “Well Granny has …..” He paused and sighed softly, she stared at his lips. “Forgiven me” He dropped it.
“Yes…..” Sue yelled and hugged him, she sent kisses on his face. “This is goodness, i knew it. He answered my prayers” She said, happily.
“You prayed for this?” He asked, staring at her with smiles on his face.
“Yes. Yes did, i can’t bear to see you sad'” She said. “Thank you for been here for me, or rather with me. You are a great soul i will forever cherish you and you’ve done. Thank you once again”
“Oh please stop….okay” She said and kissed him. ‘So when is she coming?” She asked.
“Any time. But she will come” Henderson said.
“Amelia i have learnt my mistakes and i don’t want to repeat such things again, no matter what. I belong to you and you only” He said.
“I love you…”She said and pulled him close and hugged him, the warm embrace lingered for a while until they broke it, with a smile..

Miranda came to the palace, she was very happy to be there after four months, she saw the changes in the palace, she met Amelia who was also happy to see her. Everyone on in the palace were happy to see the her.
She didn’t stop calling him by his pet name, Henderson was a little embarrassed, because Amelia was laughing at him.
“Granny please stop calling me that am a man now” Henderson said and rolled his eyes.
“What? Are you shy?” She asked.
“Little puppy…'” She said, Amelia couldn’t hold the laughter, ” Granny did you see what she is doing?” He reported, pointing at Amelia.
“There’s nothing wrong with what she is doing” Miranda said, Amelia pulled out her tongue and continued laughing.
“Granny……you are not saying anything” He mumbled, Amelia pulled out her tongue again, he looked away.
“She hasn’t done anything wrong. She is a baby remember that” She said and pull Amelia into a hug and kissed her forehead.
Miranda spent some time with them, they took a walk around the palace building, a lot of things has changed.
“Henderson i have to leave now” Miranda said.
“Why?” Amelia asked, with a frown. “I thought you are going to stay with us” Henderson said.
“Henderson, i will come some other day and that i won’t leave, i will stay here with you forever” she said. “And remember this, am no longer mad at you” She added, she return her gaze at Amelia.
“Dear, please take care of yourself and your baby, make sure you always eat good food, whenever you are hungry, even if it is 2am wake him up to get you something to eat” Miranda said.
“Awwn…thank you so much Granny, i love you” Amelia said and hugged her. Henderson asked to stay for dinner before she leaves, Henderson told her about Ethan, she was very happy, she promised to come during the celebration.

5 DAYS LATER
The king came back from work, it’s a hectic day for him, he quickly took his bathe and get busy with his laptop, his mind went on his fianceé he dropped the laptop he was about to stand up when she the door opened, she walked in without saying a word to him, she went to his bed.
“What’s wrong with her?” He thought. ‘Maybe it’s because of the pregnancy, it might be stressing her” He thought and went back to work.
Thirty minutes later he finished with his work and joined her in bed, to his surprise she wasn’t sleeping.
“Hey” He whispered and sent his hands on her thighs, she caught his hand and glare at him, she removed his hand…
“What’s the matter babe?” He asked, she didn’t utter a word. “You’ve been acting like this for 3 days now” He muttered, this time he was on top, he placed his lips on hers, she pushed him angrily, he was able to hold himself.
“I don’t want…” She yelled at him, but he didn’t realize her anger, because he hasn’t seen her that way before. He ran his hands on her thighs again, she removed his hand, “What else do you know if not séx” She yelled at him, angrily, he is shocked to see her yell at him, he wasn’t trying to have séx with her. “Why is she saying this?”
“What are you talking about?” He asked. “You know what am talking about Henderson” She said, this is the first time she calling him by his name.
“I don’t want you. Stay away from me” She said, seriously.
“Okay. At least tell me what the problem is. Am not trying to make love to you without your permission” He said.
“Excuse me” She said and walked out of his bedroom, he didn’t stop her but watched her as she left.
“I didn’t do anything wrong. Why is she acting like this? I wasn’t trying to make love to her” He said to no one in particular.
