A week later, Henderson and Amelia did the funeral for their lost child, everyone was present. Amelia didn’t stop crying even as they got home, Henderson pulled her to his chest and comforted her but that didn’t stop her. The pain of losing her child, she dreamed about having a good and giving him a good life.
They arrived at the palace and Amelia headed to her room, after a while Maya walked in and met crying.
“Bestie, please stop doing this. It’s not gonna bring him back.” She muttered and sat beside her. Amelia raised her head up. “You need to stop this, please.”
“Maya you don’t understand, I went through a lot and finally what would make me happy left without telling me. He left. He took him away from me. Naples took everything from. Why? Why? Why me? Huh”
“Amelia I totally understand how you feel. I also feel bad about this. It wasn’t planned this way. Things happen for some reason.” Maya said.
“What stupid reason? He always do things to hurt me..” She muttered. “You shouldn’t talk to him like that. God knows everything. I know that you’re sad and angry right now but please don’t let it get into your head. Please try to put it aside and face your future. You still have a long way to go.” Maya said. “Thank you Maya, thanks for staying here with me.” She muttered and they hugged.
2DAYS LATER
Henderson noticed some change of attitude in her. He confronted her, but she told him that she’s okay and she needs some time to heal from what happened.
Saanvi heard what happened to the queen, she called her and they talked. She felt sorry for her loss. Amelia came to the hospital to check on and luckily she has been responding to treatment, she also had few words with Daniel, concerning Saanvi.
“I was thinking if you can allow her stay with me. I mean you still some time to heal from what happened. And you don’t have to stress yourself.” He mumbled.
“Uhmm that’s gonna be a little difficult.” She muttered. “Oh, but trust me. She is in a safe hand.”
“Okay but i still have to tell her. We should talk about it.” Amelia replied. “Your majesty, she might not approve. Please convince her.” He mumbled.
“Is there something going on? Are you guys friends?” She find herself asking such questions. The look on his face made her apologize to him immediately. “No, it’s okay. Your majesty.” He mumbled.

Some weeks later, Henderson has given her back the documents of the companies, before she had that miscarriage. She arranged everything. Henderson observed her behavior lately. She doesn’t allow him to touch her. Not that he is asking for séx. But just to know how she is doing. Since she started going to her companies she barely have time for him. She doesn’t care about him. One night Henderson decided to go to her room, since she was staying at his palace
“What’s the matter?
“Let’s end this relationship. Thank goodness i didn’t get married to you. We are only engaged”
“What are you talking about? You must be joking, right?”
“Am not joking around Henderson. Am being serious here. I’m no longer interested in this relationship. Let’s stop fooling ourselves. I don’t love you. I never did.”
“What are you talking?Why? Have i done something wrong. Have i done something that you don’t like. Tell me Amelia i will ask your forgiveness”
“What do you expect me to do? Love a man who took what rightfully belongs to me. A man who have my body whenever he wants. You took my virginity for crying out loud. You call me to your room every night, you think it’s easy to forget. To forgive. You think so. It’s over.”
“Babe, please. We settle this, I..I..you told me that you’ve forgiven me. You said that to my face…”
“Here is your ring. I’ve picked up my things. I will be leaving tomorrow morning”
“Why are you doing this. you said you love me. Why this sudden changes towards me. Why this attitude towards me. You don’t seems to care about it” He said.
“I’ve nothing to care about. I only care about my subjects and my brother they are all i have” She said and walked out of the study room. Without caring about his feelings. He was alone that night, he spent the rest of the drinking and talking to himself. He slept off in the garden.
Amelia went to Richard’s bedroom, he was still awake. “We are leaving tomorrow morning. Get some sleep.”
“Why are we leaving? What about the king?” He mumbled. She smiled and caress his soft cheeks. “We have to. Don’t worry about anything. I’ve got you covered. I have school for you in Naples. You know, Maya’s little brother. Uhm! He schools there and other ministers children, he is friendly, cute and sweet just like his sister.”
“Okay, but I still want to stay here. I don’t see any reason why we should leave Rome.”
“Honey, we have to. We have everything we want. We got the kingdom, the companies. And money. I can get you anything you want.”
He didn’t utter, she kissed his forehead. “Why are you silent?” She muttered. “I didn’t get a chance to see my mom and my dad. I feel bad and sad.” He mumbled, she hugged him and pat his back. “I’m sorry about it. Don’t feel bad about anything. Your mom and dad, we will be happy to see that their son is back again, in Naples.”
“Are you sure?” Richard asked. “Yes, very sure. You will also like it there. Okay, com’on let’s go to sleep. Tonight i want to stay with you.”
She stayed with him and put him to sleep. She was busy staring at his cute little face, while he was asleep.
The next morning, Amelia was dressing her nephew up, when he walked in. “Hey! Big king.” Richard mumbled. Amelia turned and saw him, standing in his royal outfit.
“How are you?” He asked and squat down. “I’m fine.” He mumbled and glance at his aunt. “And you?” He added.
“I’m good.. You look handsome in your little royal outfit.” Henderson said, smiling. “Thank you.. You don’t look bad either.”
“Take care. I just want you to know that I enjoyed every moment we spent together. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to know, what if feels like to have a sibling. I love you.”
“I love you too. You will forever be in my heart.” Richard replied and hugged him, he helped him finished up the dressing. He ran out of the room.
“Can we talk?” Henderson asked. “We don’t have anything to talk about. It’s over.” She muttered and pick up her bag. She tried walking away, Henderson stopped her holding her hand.
“Amelia, do you know that you hurting me? Do you? This heart beats for you, please tell me what’s wrong, i promise i will make everything right. Please don’t leave. Even if you want to leave, don’t end this relationship. I never been so in love, in my entire life. Please don’t make me regret doing this, don’t make me regret falling in love.”
“Let go of me.. Let go of my hand..” She muttered. “I can’t.. can’t let you go.. You wanna have your way like you always do.” She yelled and he slowly let go of her hand and wiped his tears. She didn’t say anything to him, but pick up her phone and called the royal guards to come pick up the luggage. Some minutes later, they came and pick up the luggage and left.. Henderson was heartbroken, but that didn’t stop him from hugging her.
“Stay away from me.” She muttered and left, he walked out of the room and watched them as the guards put their luggage were in the car. He walk to Richard, they hugged.
Miranda hugged them and waved at them as they left the palace. He watch as they drove out, hot tears didn’t stop flowing down his cheek. “Are you okay?” She asked, he quickly wiped his tears and nod to her question.
