Elvis stepped out from the hospital with Rhema whose feet’s his bandaged.
” I hope you heard what the doctor said? ” Elvis asked.
” Yes, that I shouldn’t stress myself ” She grinned.
” Hmm…you are my source of my joy, my jewel and my heart beat. I can’t bear to see you hurt in anyway ” He said.
” Thank you for being so kind to me, I appreciate it ”
” Don’t mention dear, because it’s my duty to protect and care for you as soon I am about becoming your husband ” He stared at her lovingly.
” Let’s go ”
Both lovers entered the car and zoomed off.

Driving on the road, Rhema watched Elvis as he drives with so much passion.
” Drive carefully ” Rhema rede.
” I am always careful. What date do you think is suitable to fix our marriage? ”
” You haven’t seen my mother to do the proper introduction ” She jested.
” I am serious. I will do that tomorrow, we are seeing your mother tomorrow ”
” Then I think on the second of next month this year” She suggested.
” Wow…that’s the best day for our wedding ”
He kissed her on the cheek
” Please focus ”
At the juncture a pretty lady stood at the far end of the road clothed in blood.
” What am I seeing? Who is that lady? ” Rhema exclaimed in the car.
The lady stretched her hand and instantly their car tumbled three times and jumped inside an ocean, running away in terror.
Minutes later, Rhema came out of the car searched for Elvis and found his bleeding body.
She dragged him out of the water with all of her strength.

AT THE HOSPITAL **
” Please Elvis, stay with me, I just wanted to tell you that am pregnant ” Rhema weeps, Elvis opened his eyes weakly.
” The doctor told me, I don’t think I will make it” He said weakly.
” Yes, you can”
” Listen to me, I don’t have much time. Promise me that you will take care of my unborn child, I love you so much my jewel” He said in tears.
” Don’t leave me, you promised to marry me and…and…see my mother tomorrow ” She cried.
” I know, but death is inevitable, I will love… ” He died.
” No oooooo” She weeps.

Rhema faced the queen mother in tears and sorrow while the other girls sang and danced for the queen.
” My beautiful daughters of the sea, I have heard your beautiful voices which melts my heart”
She turned and faced Rhema
” You have the impudence to desecrete this kingdom with your sins”
” My mother, I am sorry for going against the rules of this great kingdom ” Rhema pleaded.
” You have the temerity to sleep with that boy, not only that you got pregnant for him ” Queen furious.
” I’m deeply sorry for my actions” She knelt.
” Don’t ask for forgiveness because your evil child shall be sacrificed to this kingdom ”
” Never will I allow you touch my unborn baby” She boldly stood up.
” How dare you question my decision ”
” I have the right to, not only you murdered the man that means alot to me, you now want to take my unborn baby that will be my comfort ” She dared.
” Your unborn child must and surely be sacrificed to the sisterhood or else… ”
” Or else what? ” Rhema cut in, in tears.
The girls looked at her confusingly.
” I’m even tired of being an immortal daughter here, if you feel that you all will take my unborn baby then I have no choice than to quit ” She denounced.
All of then are shocked hearing this from her.
” Do you know the consequences of what just escaped from your mouth? ” Queen said furiously.
” I know fully well of the consequences, but me to watch you take the life of this innocent child, that I will not allow ”
” Don’t play with your life, you cannot leave this sisterhood without embracing the cold hands of death. Your child shall and must be sacrificed” Queen giggled wickedly.
” You ki||ed the man that wanted to marry me and… ”
” You dare talk about marriage when you know fully well that no daughter of the underworld sea marries and you want to start that now” Queen cut in anger.

RHEMA’S SMALL TOWN **
Having decided to quit from the sisterhood Rhema is seen with her handbag as she alight from a cap and moved to her compound as everywhere looked unkept and dejected.
She called on someone yet no one answered.
She sat on a chair, minutes later two hefty men which startled her.
” Good afternoon, uncle ” She greeted.
“You must be insane, Rhema” Roland said.
” What have I done to deserve this, emm…have you seen my mom? ” She asked.
” Oh! The one you ki||ed? ”
He turned to the men in anger
” What are you still waiting for, bundle her to the king” Roland ordered.
” What! My mom…”
One of the men jacked her up to his shoulder as she struggled to free herself.
