“She’s not his sister as you claim, her blood doesn’t match his”the doctor said and they gasped.
“She’s not his sister?”Mimi muttered.
“So what was the fuss about mom”Noah faced Ma Angel who’s also in shock.
“I…. she’s….”
“You made Xavier where he is now, you should do something about it!”he said in anger.
“We need a blood donor urgently”the doctor said.
“You can check any of ours”Finch said and they nodded in agreement.
They were all tested but Mimi’s blood was what matched his.
Minutes later, the doctor came out.
“He’s out of danger but unconscious, please come with me ma’am”he said and walked away while Ma Angel followed.
June walked in first while the others followed. Mimi was brought into the ward since she fell asleep after the transferring of blood.
“You’re okay?”Finch asked, he’s beside June.
“Yes”she muttered.
“This will be the second time he’s on a sick bed cause of me”she muttered.
“Wanna do something as a payback?”he asked and she nodded.
“Then stay by his side, Xavier surely would always be seen on a sick bed if you plan on leaving him”he said but she said nothing.
“Mimi’s awake!”Noah said and they walked to the bed she’s on.
Her eyelashes opened slowly.
“Mimi!!!”
“I should just go back to sleep”she groaned as she tried sitting up but Grace assisted.
“You know, I was scared that I’m gonna tell your mom I couldn’t come back with you”Noah said and she hit his head.
“You said I’m dying”she scoffed and they laughed.
“Where’s Xavier?”she asked and June and Finch moved away cause they were obstructing her view.
“I’m gonna hit him so hard once he’s awake, he should know we care about his health and not only him”she snapped.
“Your boyfriend is getting jealous”Noah said, pointing at himself and they laughed.
“Didn’t know you both are in a relationship”Grace said.
“We aren’t!”both said at once.
“I don’t know when I’ll be getting my two cars”Xavier said and they turned to him. He’s still laying down.
“Xavier!!!”they rushed to him, even Mimi. She hit his arm twice immediately she got there.
“I’m a patient!”he groaned.
“Oh please, then I’m what? A nurse, you should stop playing with your health, since we’re friends, it’s not only your health but ours!”she said.
“I don’t remember we being friends”he smirked and she chuckled.
“See, such an ungrateful fellow!”she hit his head this time and walked to her bed.
“She gave you her blood”June said and he turned slowly to her. The word she’s your sister flow on his head so he looked away.
The rest understands immediately and walked away leaving just him and her.
“You’re feeling pain?”she asked, moving to the direction he’s facing but he turned the other way.
“Hey! What did I do wrong?”she asked, walking to his direction.
“I don’t wanna talk to you”he tried facing the other side again but she held his face, directly to hers.
“But I want to”she said.
“You turned away even when I tried seeing things differently”he said, looking down though she’s holding his face and right now he looks like a baby whose mom is begging him to have some milk.
“I’m sorry, it came as a shock…”she said and he raised his eyes.
“We’re siblings, I’m your brother and you’re….”
“No we aren’t, I’m not your sister, I would have been the one who would donate blood to you”she said and he smiled.
“So…. you still love me….?”he shuttered.
“Yes”she said.
“Say the words”he said.
“Why do you love hearing the word from me?”she asked, smiling.
“It makes me smile and happy”he smiled.
“I love you”she said and he smiled.

“Seriously…”she said, almost taking her hand away from his face but he pecked her lip before she could.
“Xavier!”she blushed.
“I told you I’m naughty”he said and she smiled.
“I’ll go get your mom”she said but he held her.
“If you don’t peck me, then I won’t see her”he said and she moved closer, pecking his lip but he took the advantage, kissing her but it was short.
“Silly”she walked away and he smiled. “Yes!!;”he giggles.

*June’s Mansion
They’re all back home. Ma Angel tried talking to Xavier about June being his sister, but he’s not ready to listen, though she didn’t come with them.
“I wanna have another Nigerian dish”Mimi said as she sat on a couch.
“Xavier made breakfast late, so we’re having it instead of lunch”Noah said.
“I’m not gonna have any Nigerian dish”Xavier said.
“Me neither”Finch said.
“If you’re gonna get married to June one day then you have to or it’s a NO”Grace said.
“I’m escaping then”Finch smiled.
“You’re gonna join to come ask for her hand in marriage so you can’t escape”Grace said.
“Her hand in marriage?”they asked.
“Yes, we’re gonna do the traditional marriage, it’s gonna be our culture way, then the white wedding can take place”she said.
“Xavier has gotten himself into something”Noah said.
“Exactly, I think Finch should get married from here too”Mimi said.
“No no, can’t have that pepper soup again”he said and they laughed.
“Maybe we should have egusi soup as dinner”June said.
“No!!”the guys said.
“Yes!”the girls said.
“It’s an equal drag, three on three”Finch said.
“YES is three but NO is two, we should go with that”Grace said.
“No no, we won’t do that!”
“Wanna help in the kitchen Mimi?”June asked and she nodded while the three walked to the kitchen.
“I’ll be right back”Finch walked away.

* MILA’S MANSION
Gold and Diamond are already set to leave when Gold phone rang, it’s Finch.
“You won’t pick?”Diamond asked but she said nothing.
“Let’s leave”their dad walked past them.
“Mom”Gold called.
“Yes baby?”
“Can you give this to Finch when he comes around to find me?”she said, stretching a letter to her.
“You’re sure you wanna leave?”
“Yes mom”she said, giving her the letter, she turned, walking away.
“Your phone!”
“Dad will get another one!”she said.

* NIGHT
They’re all in the dinning. The guys sat at the opposite the girls.
“Hope this will be nice”Noah said.
“Or we’re sleeping without food tonight”Finch said.
“I’ll go first”Mimi said as she watched her hand.
“Must we use hands?”Xavier asked.
“You can use fork, but for starters like you, it’s gonna taste better if you use your hands”Grace said.
Mini wrapped eba with her hand, putting it in the egusi soup, she had a bite and chew.
“Not like that, watch me”Grace said and she and June wrapped eba with their hand, putting it in the soup, they swallowed.
“You…. you swallowed it?”Noah blinked.
“Start with a small roll”Grace said.
“Ah!”June faced Xavier while he opened his mouth slowly.
“How’s it?”she asked smiling.
“Another one”he said and she fed him again and again.
“Just say I should feed you”she chuckled and he smiled.
“I like it”he said.
“Perfect Xavier, but you should eat yourself, stop oppressing the singles”Grace said and he stuck out his tongue.
“Hmm”Noah Mõ@ɲed as he kept eating.
“I take my word back, this is nice”Finch said and they looked at Mimi who’s already down with a wrap of eba.
“You finished that?”
“I’ll go get another one”she walked to the kitchen.

*June’s Uncle place
Ma Angel walked into the compound. The door to his place was opened and she walked in while her bodyguard followed.
“Knock knock!”she said and he came out of a room. No doubt, he didn’t use the money well. He looks unkept.
“Madam!”he said.
“Let’s talk”she sat down and he did.
“Why you come?”
“Who’s June to you?”she asked and he laughed.
“She don do something abi!”
“Answer the d@mn question!”she shouted.
“How you go dey shout for my house!”he also shouted but the gun which the bodyguard brought out made him quite.
“Who’s she?”she asked again.
“Na my niece na”he said.
“Should he $h00t your legs or you keep lying?”she said and he fell on his knee.
“Abeg no ki|| me!”
“Start talking!!”
“I go my village marry but the woman run away the night way I bring her come. Na her junior sister way follow us come be June”he said.
“The woman’s photo, I want to see it”she said and he ran to the wall, taking a frame which has him and the woman.
“Na she be that”he handed it to her.
Ma Angel stared at it, but it looks nothing like Xavier’s mom. she brought out a photo of Xavier’s mom which she has.
“You’ve seen her?”she showed it to him.
“Na her friend, my wife way run away, na her friend be this”he said.
“What happened to your so called wife”she asked.
“Na ashawo she dey do”he said.
“What’s that?”
“Prostitute”he said and she stood up.
“You’re just born to be a poor man. I gave you lots of money but you still look the same. We’ll never meet again”she walked away.
“Search for her, I need to find my brother’s daughter”she said as they got in the car.

Mimi and Noah are the once washing plates.
“I’ll just go to sleep”Finch said.
“Me too”Grace walked away too.
“How are you feeling?”Noah asked.
“I’m not that weak”she said, not looking at him.

“I haven’t seen you with girls lately, there are clubs here also”she said and he frowned.
“Thought it was gonna be something better”he muffled but she heard.
“Off course it is, your man under, aren’t you starving him”she said.
“Mimi!”
“You feel uncomfortable?”she smirked.
“Hey, you look beautiful tonight, wanna go in with me?”she said, holding a plate as she talked to it as if it could hear.
“Can you handle me?”she said In another tone which is supposed to be that of the plate.
“Let’s try it”she said in her own tone and laughed when she looked at Noah.
“I love that angry face of yours!!”she laughed.
“Wash the dishes alone!!”he walked away.
“Stop starving it, I’m speaking on it’s behalf!!”she shouted and laughed again. “So funny!”

Xavier and June are out, staring at the star. It’s just one star visible.
“You look happy”he said.
“Yes I am, I read a kid story book which talked about someone who dies becomes a star”she said, still staring at the star.
“It’s kinda true”he said and she faced him.
“I just wanna dream about them if just once to see their faces again, I don’t even remember their faces”she said.
“Who?”
“My parents”she looked away and he interlock their hand.
“You really think we’re gonna get married?”she said.
“You don’t want to?”he asked and she faced him.
“I want to”she smiled.
“Let’s have a child before our wedding”he said.
“No, after”she said.
“I want our child to be with us on that day”he said.
“As a lady, I’m only gonna see my man on my wedding night”she said.
“Really?”
“Yes, so let’s wait till then”she said.
“Let’s get married in two months time”he said and she laughed.
“You’re gonna be a graduate first”she said.
“That’s a year!”he groaned.
“Doesn’t matter”she stood up.
“No, before my graduation!”he said like a child.
“After!”she giggled.
“Before!”
“After!”
They kept saying it which eventually led to a chase.
