** CHAPTER NINETEEN **
*Next Morning At Judith Resident*
Judith saccade in a hurry and glanced at
the wall clock.
“Oh my God! 7:30am? ” Judith clamored.
She rushed to the shower.
“Mom, why didn’t you
wake me up now?!” she yelled.
“I wanted you to eat before going to school.
As you can see it’s not yet done”
“I can’t believe this!” she scurried into the
bathroom thinking of the type of punishment she will get when she gets to school.
She tried to figure out why she woke up late, then she remembered the romantic dream she had.

Other hand, assembly was already ongoing and i became worried for not seeing Judith. I went to Sonya where she was
leading and whispered into her
ears.
“Have you seen your friend Judith ?”
Sonya shrugged her shoulder.
“She’s not yet in school” she added and continued her lead.
Since then, she couldn’t concentrate anymore. All her thought was why i of all people asked of Judith.
She wanted to conclude that maybe we have feelings but she gave a weak smile.
“ He can’t fall for that girl”
she thought. As i walked towards the school entrance i met Duff on the way.
“Guy, you look unsteady, what’s the problem?” Duff asked.
“Nothing guy” i replied.
“But you have been walking up and down
like a chicken ” He bemocked.
“Have you seen Judith
this morning?”
“Hmm! I know why you
are restless!” He tumult.
I smiled and neglected his
suspicions look. At that moment, i saw Judith
coming in a speed. She appeared beauteous.
She wore a tight blue skirt
with a white long sleeve shirt which she
tocked-in properly. The sharp of her undies could be seen through the
skirt.
And on her feet were black shoes with
white stockings, then she stood before punctuality prefect who wanted to flog a hell out of her.
“Hey” I exclaimed from a
distance. “Don’t flog her, let her in” i added, Some senior students like Sonya, Bella, Jully, and others became surprise even Duff who was standing right beside
me. Judith came close to me
and greeted.
“Thank you for not allowing him to punish
me” she said.
“What took you so
long?” I asked.
“I woke up late” She explained.
“ Again? Make sure Mr Solomon don’t hear that from you. He h@ťěs
spontaneity students”
“I know” She faced down.
“Then decipline yourself” I said.
“I will, I’m sorry once again” she apologia
“I hope you enjoyed your night?” i changed the discussion and Duff gaze at him speechless.
Even the interrogation reminded her of the dream she had, then she smiled and nodded.
“Why are you smiling?” i asked.
“Because my night was awesome” She smiles again.
“What made your night good? Did you have a lovely dream?” she face down and kept smiling without responding.
“Come on Luster, don’t ask her such question” Duff interfered and told her to go in.
All these while , Sonya and some senior students couldn’t get their eyes
off .
Judith entered into the assembly looking like a senior prefect and everybody gaze at her. She was becoming amazingly gorgeous everyday.
Judith was not only capturing the attention
of students, but also the love of teachers especially Mr grammarian Solomon.
Her illiterate character began to disappear gradually as she discovered the little
feelings she couldn’t explain.
As usual, she stood beside Dera her classmate who was her best friend without minding the students triumphal.
* AT THE ASSEMBLY *
After the anthem Mr Solomon stepped up.
“Good morning students!”
“Good morning sir” everybody responded.
“The quiz segment would soon approach and i hope all the senior secondary 2 and senior secondary 3 have prepared. Briefly, i have the names of the quiz participants. If you hear your name stand up”
He called the names but when my name
was called all the senior secondary 2
students shouted, “No! no! no!” because they
knew just i alone can win the competition.
Meanwhile, i was already smiling
moving my hands behind..
“Luster!” Mr Solomonbcalled. “You have heard what they said. What can you say about it?”
All the students remained quiet to know
what i would say. Sonya couldn’t stop smiling. Bella’s heart sank and Jully
couldn’t stop enjoying my smiles.
“My fellow students” i began still with
my hands behind me.
“is my right to participate on
the quiz because i am also an SS3 student.
But no problem, even without my presence
there, i assure you that we are going to win SS2b students. Thank you everyone” i stepped down.
Judith began a clap followed by everybody
even the SS2 students who opposed
clapped for me because i was absolutely eloquent.
