She came the following morning to check on him and she saw he was still asleep. The pains of his father’s conversation the previous night hurt him so hard for the first time.

She quietly shut the door so as not to cause any noise. On turning, she met Micheal standing in front of her.

“You.” She said mentally to herself. “What do you want now, Ďïčk head?”

“Hey.” He said, breaking the silence.

“You shouldn’t be here.” She said,

“You too.”

“No, I should be here and you, you should f_ck off.”

“Pablo is my brother, I have every right to check on him.”

“Seriously?” She scoffed. “Well I didn’t notice that. If you truly are concerned about him, then you could have checked on him last night and not stalked me to cover up your lies.”

“I ain’t stalking you, Ana.”

She scoffed again. “I’m very busy right now to have some kinda boring and annoying conversation with you, I have to go.” She walked steps away from him and he held her back to his side.

She threw a hard glare at him. “Take your hands off me, @$$h0le.” She said angrily.

“Can you at least for once try to understand me? I’m not the bad guy you once knew, I have changed, okay?”

“If you aren’t the bad guy, then who is?” She snapped. “Fred? Pablo? Or your father? Tell me?!”

He was quiet.

“I don’t wanna h@ťě you more than I already have, but having you stalk me every blessed day gives me reasons why I have to.” She looks at her hand where he held her. “And get you f_cking hands off me.”

He let go of her and she walked away.

Micheal thought of what to do and how to change her mind towards him. With the look of things, it would be so difficult to make her forgive him. Nevertheless, he has promised himself never to let go until he finally has her to himself, no matter what.

Pablo sat with Fred and the rest of the gangs, watching a live football match. The sitting room was filled with noise from the complaints and jubilation of goals scored from their desirable teams.

It’s just ki||ing Micheal to imagine how much Anastasia loves Pablo and not him. If it were possible, he could go back in time and get her to love him. But that was so impossible and he knows that.

He stood behind the sofa Pablo was sitting on. “I need a word with you, Pablo.” He said, a hint of anger sounded in his voice.

Pablo leaned his head backward and raised his face up to see who it was. With the look on Micheal’s face, Pablo sensed his countenance wasn’t a good one, so he stood up for the talk and to avoid his problems.

“What is it?” He asked, walking to the corner to avoid the others from listening to what they were about to say.

“I want you to stay out of Anastasia.” He said.

Pablo looked at him to be sure if he had heard right. “I’m sorry?”

“You heard me right, stay out of Anastasia’s life.” He repeated, sternly.

Pablo chuckled. “Is that a favor or what?”

“That’s an order.”

He scoffed. “And who the f_ck are you to give me orders, Micheal?”

“As your elder brother and the next mob leader, I give that order.”

Hearing him call himself the next mob leader made Pablo laugh, drawing the attention of the rest of the guys in the sitting room. But when they saw Pablo was still laughing, they thought they were making jokes of themselves, so they returned their attention back to the football station.

Fred knew their conversation wasn’t just a normal talk or joke, he stood up, walking to where they stood.

“You think this is funny, huh?” Micheal snarled at him.

“Of course, it is. It’s d@mn so funny, Micheal.” Said Pablo in a jerk manner.

“Guys, what’s going on here?” Fred asked.

“I think you should ask him that question. I can see you had a bad night, maybe you should hang out in one of the bars, drink and f_ck a girl, I’m pretty sure you’ll get this over with.”

“Guys, calm down, okay or you both create a scene.”

“I give you today to cut wh@ťěver tie you have to do with her, I won’t be nice tomorrow.”

“You’re wasting your d@mn time, Micheal, because I ain’t doing no $h|t.”

“We’ll see about that.”

“You know what, go f_ck yourself.” He said, pointing at him.

“We’ll see who gets f_cked up.”

“I hope so.”

Michael turned like he was going to leave, but he turned to Pablo offering him a blow on his face. The boys were alerted by the sound of the blow, and they all turned to see what was going on.

Pablo held his nose, laughing. He didn’t react, he just kept laughing at him. Fred came in between them to calm them down but Micheal wasn’t in the mood to be stopped. He broke Fred’s nose with a punch, causing him to bleed.

“You f_cking broke my nose, huh?” Fred yanked.

“Stay the f_ck out of my business or I do the worst.”

Fred blew his face before he could count the next second, and they began to hit each other with several punches and kicks. Pablo just stood by the side, cleaning off the blood which rolled out of his nose. Micheal sends Fred to the ground, about to kick him in the stomach when Pablo kicks his leg instead.

Before Micheal could charge at him, the rest of the gangs came to separate them from each other. “I’ll f_cking ki|| the both of you! I’ll f_cking ki|| you two, trust me!” He said, struggling from the hold of the boys. “Let me go so I can ki|| these two bastards.”

Fred almost broke free from the holds about to hit Micheal but was stopped by the boys as they held him back. “You broke my nose? I won’t let this go, I swear on your dead corpse.” He cursed.

“Let me go.” Pablo said, trying to sound calm but the boys refused to let him go. “I just wanna talk to my brother, I won’t do any thing stupid, I swear.” When they saw how serious he was, they let go of him.
