Well a tribulation is like a sacrifice made to
avoid the destruction of the earth, which is
caused by the multiple sins of people on earth
And in this sacrifice the person who undergoes
it loses his premodial spirit either forever or for
a while
It can be undergone by any of the true gods, but
it is the responsibility of the ruler
Hence Keeva will have to bear the tribulation so
the earth will keep being in peace
That was the reason why Adrian left, he knew
what was going to happen to Keeva and it
pissed him off greatly
Might?, Keeva scoffed
You will come back again, I trust you, Waylen
said
Chloe sat down quietly
All will be well don’t worry about me, let’s just do
all the things we couldn’t do back then and then
I will be good to go, Keeva said
Stop lying to yourself, Chloe mumbled
Keeva smiled

walked away
Chloe covered her face with her palms

Adrian was asleep on Keeva’s bed when she
came in
How did he fall asleep so quickly, but then
again he must be very tired, she thought
She went closer and touched his face
Tears fell from her eyes
The responsibilities were too heavy, she wished
she was born a normal immortal or a mortal
She was really scared of the tribulation
She was scared of the fact that she was going
to leave again, and the fact that she was going
to leave her love ones waiting
What if she never comes back?
She sniffed and turned to go when Adrian held
her hands
Huh!!! Was he even sleeping??
He opened his eyes slowly, she turned away and
wiped her tears immediately
I love you, he mumbled and her heart skipped a
beat
He pulled her to the bed
What are you doing, she mumbled
I love you Keeva, won’t you reply me, he asked
She blushed
You are the only woman I will ever trust with my
future and life, even if you betray me, I have
forgiven you already, he said
What are you saying, she scoffed
Because I love you very much that I will go
crazy if I don’t see you for a day, he said, she
blushed
He pulled her to himself and kissed her
She kissed his back almost immediately as if
she was waiting for it all her life
He pulled away and stared into her eyes
His eyes looked different, like he wanted her
She smiled and put her hand around her neck, I
love you too, she said and kissed him
