SAME NIGHT *
SOMEWHERE IN THE NORTH
Ren sat on a bench outside staring into space, the only thing at the back of her mind was just to go back to the palace just so she could be ki||ed, how could she lose all the important people in her life
Tears rolled down her eyes as she slowly turned her gaze to Cassidy who was fast at sleep
“Why did I have to be so unfortunate? He said we were gonna go away and now am not even sure if he’s still alive or not,” Ren muttered, she clean the tears in her eyes with the back of her palm and sniffed
“This is all my fault, if I haven’t followed the prince we might still be together, why did I have to be so stupid, and act like an idiot and….” she suddenly stopped when she felt someone’s hand on her shoulder
She gently looked up to see the woman who accepted them into her home, the woman sat next to her as Ren quickly wipe the tears from her eyes
“I don’t know what your worries are but it’s gonna be alright,” the woman said and Ren looked at her
She smiled lightly
“I have no worries, am just fine,” Ren replied
“You’re not, it’s written all over your face and even the blind can tell,” she replied
Ren was silent
“So who was it? Father, mother brother, or was it your lover? We face too many things every day and we all pray for the child of the prophecy to rescue us,” the woman said and Ren looked at her
“ You also heard of the prophecy?” Ren asked surprised and the woman chuckled
“it went far and near, It came from the late last priestess, a very powerful woman, who doesn’t know of Habita?” the woman replied
“It’s a lover, I mean first it was mother then brother, and now lover, but it’s okay cos I will be just fine,” Ren said and the woman tapped her shoulder gently without saying anything
“I love him a lot, I just wish he will come back to me someday but am not having a good feeling about him…..”
“You should have a good feeling, love is strong,” the woman cut it
Tears rolled down from Ren’s eyes and she quickly wipe them with the back of her left palm and sniffed
“It’s my fault, I never listen, he told me to always avoid trouble and if I nodded anything I should tell him but I was just stupid to be curious, I just wanna see him one last time, but my mind is telling me another thing, I don’t just want him to die cos if he dies then what’s there to live for?” Ren hiccuped
The woman patted her back gently before pointing at Cassidy
“What about her? You live for her or are you two not related?” she asked and Ren looked at Cassidy who was sleeping peacefully
She didn’t even know what to think again, all the people close to her always end up dying so what if Cassidy also dies like others? She wave the thought aside and stood up
“I should get some sleep,” she muttered and walked over to Cassidy
She lay beside her and covered themselves with a bedspread
A few moments later
Ren ran into a cave and getting close she saw a guard slag off Matthew’s head and it went flying in the air
“NOOOOO!!!” she yelled and woke up, her hand holding her chest as her breathing quickened
It was just a dream
“What happens?” Cassidy who was beside her asked, Ren, woke her up with her loud scream
“Nothing, I just had a terrible nightmare,” Ren replied and lay back down again

CAMILLA AND XAVIER *
Camilla held Xavier tightly as they sat on the rock, it was so cold outside but things to the body heat they both provide for each each
Camilla suddenly stood and Xavier looked at her, the wolves below got ready for action
“I remember now, wolves are afraid of noise and light and stick and stone,” her hand throwing stones at the wolves as she speaks
“wowowowowowo!!! yayayayaya!!!” Camilla shouted, still throwing small stones at them
The wolves started moving back, Xavier looked around and seeing that it was working he picked up a large stone and threw it at them, Camilla looked at him and smile
It wasn’t long before the night wolves ran away, Xavier went down from the rock and helped her down
“Told you,” she said, and he carried her up in a bridal style
“You’re a genius, I will buy more books in fact, I will fill your whole room with books,” Xavier said and she hit his head lightly
“Silly, reading is good,” Camilla said and he nodded in approval

HUNNTER’S HOUSE*
Viola sat beside Kalinda on the bed with her hand stroking her hair gently before taking her hand to her face, Hunter wasn’t there.
Viola looked at the door and seeing that no one was around she leaned over and kissed Kalinda gently
“I’m sorry, I didn’t know that you both have something like this, I love you at first sight and I would never do anything to hurt you, I would have known if only I didn’t lose concentration when I saw you back in that river,” Viola licked her lips and gulped nothing
She took her hand to Kalinda’s lips and caresses it gently before placing a soft kiss on her lips again, she pulled away after a short period
“I know you already h@ťě me but please don’t h@ťě me so much, I will wait even if it takes a lot of time to gain your forgiveness, I would have helped you if I can, Am really sorry,” Viola added, she made to Kiss her again but just then Hunter came in
She quickly pulled away as if she was cleaning something on her face

XAVIER AND CAMILLA
“Are you sure those creatures live here,” Xavier said more like a question and Camilla nodded
“am very sure, even Legend confirmed it,” Camilla replied looking around
They are at the home of the night wisps but the place looked like a graveyard as they didn’t see anything that looks like it, the place is so silent that Xavier was doubting it
“let’s go, we came here for nothing,” Xavier said, Camilla who had tears in her eyes started sobbing
“Can we wait a little longer, maybe they are sleeping,” Camilla sobbed
“These things are…..” he stopped when one night wisp blinked its light
Camilla’s face beamed up as her lips curve into a smile,
“did you see that?” she asked excitedly
She close her eyes and said a little prayer before opening her eyes and to her surprise the whole place was shining brightly as the night wisps flew around her
“We did it…. we made it… Xavier, we did it,” she shouted and jumping up and down
“So how do we get it to follow us?” Xavier asked and one of them came to his face, it blinked twice and Xavier blocked his face
“I think it’s saying something,” Camilla shouted joyfully
“Are you coming with us?” Xavier asked, the night wisp blinked its light little noise coming from
“Let’s go home, we made it,” Camilla shouted

Hunter’s house* past midnight*
The night wisps flew on top of Kalinda’s neck as they watch with interest, it stayed there without moving
Everyone exchanged glances
“why is she not waking up?” Camilla asked impatiently
“be patience,” Viola said
“I don’t have enough,” she replied rudely
“seems I will have to take her home,” they heard a deep voice from behind
They all turned in the direction of the voice to see Cyprus standing there
