Xavier stood before Camilla’s father with his head down, the man was busy scrubbing some words into a paper, he dropped the ink and fold the paper before looking at Xavier
Xavier could feel his heart hammering against his chest as the man stared at him
“how many men are at the border,” Captain Derek, Camilla’s father asked
Xavier gulped and slowly looked up, the man was staring directly into his eyes
“forty men Captain,” Xavier replied gently
Without saying another word he started working out of his chamber and Xavier followed him instantly, they went to the prison and he opened the cell
“Bring him out and cut his tongue,” Derek said and Xavier went closer
Xavier dragged the man lying lifelessly inside the prison out, the man inside the prison look weak and he was covered with bruises
“He’s a traitor,” Derek added and without a second thought Xavier cut out the tongue
He raised it and Camilla’s father nodded
“That’s very good boy,” he said and Xavier nodded
“Do you know that I have made difficult choices in life?” He suddenly asked and Xavier looked at him
“Yes captain,” he replied
“Believe me when I say touch her again and I will cut your bells the same way you cut his tongue and feed them to my dogs,” he said and Xavier gulped, his head down
“Forgive me, Captain,” he apologized
“She’s just not meant for you son, you can have any woman you want but not her, is that understood?” he added and Xavier nodded
“Yes Captain,” Xavier replied
He walked away and Xavier let out a deep breath before wiping the sweat on his forehead

DRACO ?
“Father, you sent for me,” Draco said walking into their family house
He walked towards a man in his 50s who seem to be feeding his dogs
“You said Captain Derek sent a message, is he trying to betroth his daughter to me?” Draco asked and his father slapped him hard across his face
“Father!!!” Draco called, his hand holding his cheek
Draco was shocked cos his father has never hit hit
“Now listen to me Draco, you will go back to Lady Camilla and offer your apology to her,” his father (Smith) said
“What good will my apology do to her?” Draco asked, only to receive another hot slap
He quickly held his burning cheek and squeeze up his face
“if you hit me again……” that was interrupted by another slap
“is that understood?” his father asked
Draco frowned and shook his head negatively
“You can’t make me…..” his father slapped him again blinding his eyes
“I’m telling mother…..” a loud thunderous slap landed on his cheek, his left cheek was as red as a tomatoes
Draco clenched his fist gritting his teeth angrily, his heart racing up and down as if he wants to ki||
“You will go back to Lady Camilla and fall on your knees and offer your apology to her, tell her how stupid you have become and how sorry you are, that your prayers will be with her from now henceforth, is that understood?” His father said, more like yelling
his finger pointing at Draco as he speaks
Draco was silent and almost immediately another hot slap landed on his cheek
“Is that understood?” his father yelled
Draco stormed off instantly without saying a word
“Lord Draco will remember that my Lord,” Robin said and turned to leave
“in case he forgets it, be a good dog to remind him of it,” Lord Smith replied and Robin swallowed nothing

“How am I going to fall at a woman’s feet? How is that even possible?” Draco said to himself pacing around his room
The door gently opened and Robin walked in
“Draco my good friend,” he called
“Robin, how is this even possible, that I Draco will fall at a woman’s feet, how is it going to happen? How am I going to do that?” he asked all In one word
He roughed his hair and pocked his hand, his heart racing as if he just finished running a race
“Honestly I don’t know what to say about this,” Robin replied
“Just go, I wanna be alone,” Draco uttered and Robin nodded going over to the door
“I met with the healer and she promise to restore your teeth,” Robin said at the door and that was when Draco remembered his condition and who did that to him
“One at a time,” Draco shouted and Robin chuckled
“Alright,” Robin uttered and left

HUNTER’S HOUSE
“ Are you still feeling the pain?” Kalinda asked walking into the room
Hunter sat up on the bed and stared at her
“No,” he replied gently
“Guess I will have to rest now,” Kalinda said going over to the door
“Where you worried about me?” Hunter asked
Kalinda stopped by the door and looked at him with a straight face
“What’s this all about?” she asked and he gulped
“Like you have been nice all of a sudden,” Hunter replied
“What exactly do you want with me? If am rude you will complain, if I try to be nice even though am not very good at it you will still complain, what do you want?” she asked
Kalinda left the doorstep going over to him
“Nothing, forget it, I guess you were only being nice cos you think am this stupid king, I don’t even know how I will be a king when am a coward,” Hunter said his head down
Kalinda sat on the bed next to him and Hunter looked at her, he slowly look down with a sad look on his face
“You’re not a coward,” Kalinda said and he scoffed
“It’s obvious stop trying to make me feel good,” he said and Kalinda took her hand to his chin
She raises his face before speaking
“A coward can’t go deep into King Tyrone’s kingdom and come back with a woman right in his arms,” she said and his lips curve into a smile
“Thank you,” Hunter uttered
“Stop looking down on yourself, you can do better,” she added
“I guess I have to start by becoming the king which means we have to go find the lost crown,” he said and Kalinda nodded
“I’m at your service, wh@ťěver you say is okay by me,” she replied with a light smile
Hunter stared at her without blinking, they were so close that he could feel a magnetic force pulling him close to her, he suddenly found himself leaning closer
Just when he was about to claim her lips into a hot kiss Kalinda shifted her head to the side and he kissed her neck instead, she stood up and without looking at him she start going over to the door
“I will be back,” she said and left
Kalinda went outside to see Camilla with a lot of apples in her hand, Camilla put down the apples and grabbed her hand
“Where are you taking me?” Kalinda asked, she reluctantly followed her
“to my best place,” Camilla replied
