The moon is shining brightly tonight and Kalinda was up staring at it, she fixed her gaze on the sky till she notice a presence
“hey,” Camilla called gently
Kalinda and Hunter left their village and Camilla and Xavier volunteered to come with them, Draco came along with his friend Robin since the game said that he will do Kalinda’s bidding so he didn’t have a choice but to follow her
“Hey, I umm….”
“The name is Kalinda,” she cut in rudely and Camilla gulped
She went closer and sat on the open space beside Kalinda, Kalinda didn’t even look at her as she maintain a straight face
“I’m sorry for hitting you the other day, I didn’t mean to. I was only jealous seeing you both that way,” Camilla said, her gaze fixed on Kalinda’s face
Kalinda kept quiet
“Can we still be friends? I like you and I was just jealous back here that’s why I hit you,” Camilla added and Kalinda finally looked at her
“You’re lucky,” she said and Camilla raised a brow
“Huh,”
Kalinda ignored her and looked away
“I was just jealous,” Camilla added and pouted like a two year old kid
“Jealous of who? Him?” Kalinda asked pointing at Xavier who was discussing with Hunter
She shook her head and scoffed
“What? He’s not enough?” Camilla asked she looked at her and shook her head before looking away
“unbelievable,” Kalinda muttered
“he’s not up to your standard?” Camilla asked and Kalinda scoffed
“You already know the answer so why ask?” Kalinda replied rudely and Camilla’s expression changed
“Kalinda be nice,” Camilla said and Kalinda looked at her
“You hit me because of him, someone whose fighting ski||s suck, he’s not even tall enough, his abs aren’t hard enough, he’s not skinny for my liking, and to say that he looks like a farmer. What made you think I will have anything to do with him, huh?” Kalinda asked and Camilla gently stood up
“I should get going,” she added and made to walk away but Kalinda pulled her back
“Sorry didn’t mean to insult your wh@ťěver…. I don’t know the status of your relationship but wh@ťěver it is men are out of my league,” Kalinda said and Camilla kept quiet
“Friends?” Kalinda offered a handshake and Camilla smiled lightly
“Friends,” Camilla replied and shook her hand
“What a happy reunion, have always known my baby as a peacemaker,” Cyprus said clapping his hands together
“What can I do you for?” Kalinda asked with a straight face and Cyprus chuckled
“Just to sign a deal with you,” he replied and Kalinda scoffed
“What made you think I want to be part of your deal?” she asked and he went closer
He is so close that there is no space left between them
Hunter who was coming their way stopped on his track immediately he saw how close they were
“It’s still surprising that you bowed for that little boy, something you never did for me, always proving the woman’s power but that’s not why am here….”
“Get straight to the point,” Kalinda cut in
“I can take you all where to find the lost crown, I have enough army to conquer the king and take over his empire, but you would have to do just one thing for me in return,” Cyprus said and Kalinda nodded
“I see, so what do you ask of me?” Kalinda asked staring at his face
“Marry me,” Cyprus replied and Kalinda scoffed
Camilla was busy staring at his body build, he was taller than Kalinda and handsome too, no wonder Kalinda called Xavier a farmer, looking at him alone one would want to enter a new relationship
“I would give you all the things you won’t, I can rewrite your fate and you won’t have to die, you will live with me forever,” Cyprus nodded
Hunter just stood there watching them
Kalinda looked away for a while then she gently turned to him
“you took away the only thing that mattered to me, chased me all over the world trying to ki|| me. I would have insulted you right now but am afraid I won’t do it very well, just the way nature did,” Kalinda replied and Camilla gasped and quickly covered her mouth
Hunter’s face lit up and Cyprus’s face darkened
Cyprus looked away till he calmed down then he turn to Kalinda
“Get over me Cyprus, the past is in the past let it stay there,” Kalinda added and started walking away but he quickly held her hand
“You use to love me, I tried to ki|| you but I didn’t right? Haven’t I apologized enough?” Cyprus asked and Kalinda wiggled free from his hold
“Touch me again and you won’t like how it will end, I use to, that verb is past so let it stay there, you’re not good enough for me anymore,” Kalinda added, she made to walk past but Cyprus held her hand
A glare from her made him take back his hand and almost immediately Hunter walked to them with a stick
“back off,” Hunter shouted and a sudden wind threw him away
“Look at him, he’s not even up to my feet, What is it that he can offer you, huh? I was the best anyone could ever…..”
“You need medical attention cos it’s obvious your brain isn’t functioning anymore and right now you’re speaking through your anus,” Kalinda cut in rudely and Cyprus balled his fist tightly
“That was harsh,” Camilla covered her mouth with her both hands
Cyrus suddenly felt a stick at his back, Camilla and Kalinda who were walking away stopped and looked back to see Hunter holding a stick
“Oh no, he’s gonna make it hard for me,” Kalinda muttered and went back
Cyprus gripped Hunter’s neck and pinned him in mid-air choking him, he tightened his grip around Hunter’s neck filled with rage
See the little thing Kalinda is following around, just this thing.
“f-__-k,” Cyprus caused when he felt a combat knife on his arm, he quickly let go of Hunter and who falls heavily coughing instantly, his hand rubbing against his neck as he tried to catch his breath
“touch him again and you will have me to deal with,” Kalinda said meaning every word, her sword in her hand
Cyprus laughed
“I will be back sweetheart,” he vanished
Kalinda looked at Hunter who Xavier helped up
“Don’t interfere next time, Cyprus can be very dangerous and he might ki|| you, not like you have the strength to fight,” Kalinda said and Camilla looked at her
“Kalinda be nice,” Camilla shouted and she rolled her eyes and walked away
