Salome’s lips parted and for a minute, she sat on the bed, taking turns to look at her parent’s faces.
“I can’t believe, I was wishing to have a sweet boyfriend like Omarion” she covered her face and her parents laughed.
“You were Omarion Oen in your past life?” she asked.
“Yes, I got reborn as Samuel Jerusalem in this life” Sam said.
“Zenita Capa in your past life mother” she faced her mother.
“Yes” Brenda smiled.
“You guys were so naughty…I can’t believe I read about your steamy romance scenes…I was reading about my parents segzcapades, I’m so embarrassed” Salome gushed and covered her face.
“Don’t be” Sam said.
“So what is going to happen to me, my powers?”
“You need training to control your powers and there’s a special place for you”
“Mount Zebal institute, the institute for supernatural beings?”
“You read about it too?” Brenda asked.
“Yes but I don’t want to go there, I want to stay here, where will I be getting mystic books to read again?”
“There’s a library in the institute, the books there are free, you will make it your room if you want” Sam said, patting her.
“You are saying that to convince me father” Salome pouted.
“He’s saying the truth Salome, we are going to miss you but you need the institute to master your powers, you don’t want to hurt anyone unintentionally with your powers right?” Brenda asked, holding her face.
“Please Salome, we are doing this for your betterment, you are now possessing both of our powers” Sam said.
“I want to know one thing, in books I read witches and demons do fall in love, so why is your case different?” Salome asked.
“20 thousand years ago, the daughter of goddess Evlyn fell in love with a demon, their love was so deep that it became a tale in the supernatural world till the day Dracula the father of the demon sacrificed goddess Evlyn’s daughter for powers, he became so powerful and almost took out the goddess but she fought and overcomes him. She then forbid witches and demons falling love, it’s a taboo in the supernatural world cos she lay a curse” Sam explained, and Salome sighed.
“Vizier, the writer of the mystery, who was the writer to you?” Salome asked.
“My best friend in my past life, he got reborn but we can’t cross paths again” Sam replied.
“You will be leaving for the institute today” Brenda said.
“Can’t it wait?”
“No, we don’t know when your powers will be manifesting again, you almost hurt us yesterday, you would have done something bad if I didn’t recited the control incantation spell, you controlled your ki||er instinct on the thieves but it’s still dangerous, try to understand us, you can visit us and we will visit you in the institute” Brenda said softly, and Salome said.
“I will miss you two” she said.
“We will miss you too” they said and hugged her at once.
THE INSTITUTE•
The morning training was over and it was time for breakfast now. It’s like this, whenever there’s going to be a morning training, the training would be carried out before breakfast.
The disciples were going into the big cafeteria hall in their numbers.
Jason and John came into the cafeteria and took a table immediately.
They are disciples but not superiors.
“Who’s going to order?” Jason asked.
“Anybody can do that” John replied and Jason scoffed.
“You look cuter when you do that, keep on doing it” John laughed.
“Bastard” Jason said and waved his hand at the server.
Molly, Loveth and Jill came into the cafeteria and joined them on the same table.
“Molly pretty” Jason called but Molly glared at him.
“Don’t call my name again” she snapped hostile.
“Opp! Sorry bro” John mocked and Jason glared at him.
“You guys haven’t ordered anything?” Jill asked.
“You can do that since you are here” John replied.
“I h@ťě your sharp mouth” Jill said.
“You are not talking, Loveth” Jason said.
“It’s nothing” Loveth said.
The servers came to their table and served them, they started eating when Megan and Maria came in and sat on the same table.
“What are you two doing here?” Jill asked.
“The last time I checked your father didn’t own this place” Megan snapped.
A murmur started at the door and they turned their eyes at once, the superiors came in the cafeteria and everyone started looking at them.
Abel, Ramos and Alfred except Rain.
“Abel is so cool” Molly said, looking at Abel.
“Are you crushing on him?” Jason asked.
“Do you have a problem with that?” Molly replied.
“Easy Molly, Alfred is the best superior to me but he’s a player” Megan said.
“Don’t tell us you are falling for him,bro don’t do love, save yourself the energy to get heartbroken” John said.
“Ramos is the coolest to me” Jill said.
“He’s the talkative among them”
“That’s why I like him, I h@ťě boring people” Jill said.
“Am I boring?” Loveth pouted and Jill smiled handsomely.
“You are not boring” he replied.
“Can we eat in peace here?” Maria shouted.
“You can leave the table if you are uncomfortable here” Megan replied and Maria faced her angrily.
“What? You want to do something? Oh! Your boss is not here, is she not coming for breakfast?” Megan said mockingly and Maria folded her fist.
“I will teach you a lesson soon” Maria said.
“It’s boring just exchanging talks, come on put on a show” Jason said.
“Stop it” John scolded.
“Fight here and you will get a punishment you don’t want, Abel is here” Jill said and Maria took her plate, walking away angrily.
“I don’t know what she thinks she is because she is close to superior Rain” Megan scoffed.
“You should be concerned about Alfred” Molly said.
“Why?” Megan asked.
“New disciples are joining the institute, pray no girl is among them, but come to think of it, you two are not in a relationship” Loveth said.
“Let me worry about that” Megan said, and the rest started laughing.
AT THE SUPERIOR TABLE•
Ramos’ face was stuck in the soup he was eating, he didn’t look up since he started eating.
“Are you trying to swallow the plate foodie?” Abel asked.
“Don’t talk to me, I’m angry at you” he replied without looking up.
Alfred snapped his fingers and the plate disappeared from his hands.
“Abel” he yelled.
“I did that” Alfred said.
“Why are you two against me now?” he said with a puke face, Abel and Alfred laughed.
“Seriously, will you be eating like this even when you have a girlfriend?” Alfred asked.
“Why not? I can’t change because of anyone. I’m handsome and I eat a lot. I love myself like that” Ramos said and took Alfred’s plate.
“Hey!!” Alfred said.
“You made my plate disappear , this is the punishment” Ramos said.
“But this is the third plate of orlanos soup, do the calms Ramos” Alfred said and turned to Abel.
“Why are you not talking?” Alfred asked.
“What do you want me to say?” Abel replied.
“You are so boring” Alfred scoffed.
“Really? I’m boring?”
“Yes, you are Abel” Alfred said.
“Seems like Rain isn’t coming for breakfast” Abel said.
“It’s better that she’s not here” Ramos said and Abel chuckled.
“Do you two dislike her that much?”
“Every disciple does, she is just a superior but she behaves like she owns the world, what if she has the authority you have in this institute, she would be walking on our heads” Ramos said.
“She is too bitter and it’s incurably” Alfred chirped in.
“Can we stop talking about her?” Abel muttered gently.
“Ok” Ramos and Alfred said.

Rain had a cold look on her face as she dressed in her satirel(the robes used in the historical eras). There’s no single smile on her face, just a blank and cold expression on her face.
She is like that since she was born, she only talks to Maria and Abel.
She is bitter and cruel to people, the best reason known to her for being like that.
She was done dressing up when the door opened and Maria came in.
Rain looked back and their eyes met.
“Maria” she smiled.
“I love it when you smile and knowing I’m the only one you smile with makes me happier” Maria said, coming inside.
“Stop it” Rain said.
“You didn’t come for breakfast” Maria said.
“I h@ťě seeing the faces of Ramos and Alfred” Rain replied.
“They are handsome” Maria laughed.
“That’s the only good thing about them” Rain scoffed.
“What about Abel?” Maria asked.
“He’s the best and handsomest” Rain replied with a smile on her cheeks.
“Awww!!” Maria giggled.
“I’m going to teach Megan a lesson”
“Alfred’s wh-_-re?” Rain asked.
“Sure” Maria replied.
“I will give you the lead” Rain said and Maria nodded.
“Let’s hangout around the water woods” Rain stood up and Maria joined her.
They vanished from the room.
THE PARADISE•
Abel was sitting on a chair in the living room. He had a drink in his hand which he was drinking from. His eyes were closed as he was practicing a spell he learnt newly.
He started reciting the spell in his mind, it’s a mind spell. He recited the spell and immediately he said the fourth line, his room started changing.
It changed completely to a field, he saw himself in a field.
“A field” he said, looking around the green field.
“Wow!, wait I didn’t mention anything during the spell recitation so why did it take me here?” he muttered and started walking in the field.
The breeze was hitting his skin and he loved the way the breeze was hitting his skin.
He was still exploring the field when suddenly he started feeling a different aura… Like another presence in the field with him.
He picked up a very strong scent coming from behind him and he turned fastly to see a beautiful person standing there.
On her chest it was written SALOME.
He felt his heart skip a beat for the first time in his life when she smiled at him.
“Abel” she called his name and he could admit that, that’s the segziest, melodious voice he has ever heard.
“Salome” he called and she smiled.
He couldn’t look away from her pretty face, her cute shaped lips. He felt his heart beating so fast as he stared at her.
“See you soon” she said and he raised his brows confusingly.
“What do you mean by that?” he asked.
“Bye for now” she waved with a smile and started fading away.
“Salome” he called and tried to move to her but his feet got glued to the ground and no matter how he tried to use his powers he wasn’t able till she faded away and he returned back to his room.
“Abel” Ramos and Alfred ran into the living room.
“These brats” he muttered.
Alfred got to him and took the wine from him, he drank it at once.
“What are you two doing here?” Abel asked.
“It’s boring” Ramos said and sat on a chair.
“And you Alfred, you should be sleeping with a girl, you always ditch us, it’s always me and Ramos” Abel said.
Ramos and Alfred exchanged glances.
“How many words did he say?” Alfred asked.
“I think fourteen words, his longest speech today, we are going to be blessed” Ramos said.
“Stop it guys, I do talk a lot” Abel defended.
Ramos disappeared from his chair and appeared on Abel’s chair.
“Really?” He laughed.
“Yes, I don’t talk much with others but I do with you two” Abel said.
“So you love us the most?” Alfred asked, making a keg appear in his hand.
“I’m tired of you” Abel said, resting on the chair.
“You should try getting intimate with a girl, Abel” Alfred said.
“Do you know how many girls that are dying to have your attention?” Ramos asked.
“You are single Ramos” Abel said.
“You are the handsomest among us” Ramos said.
“I’m not ready”
“I don’t know if your mind is made up of stone, you are so hard” Ramos said and took the keg and cup from Alfred’s hand.
“Ramos!!!” Alfred shouted and took it back with his eyes.
Ramos took it back and like that they started fighting for the keg and the cup.
Abel muttered something and they disappeared from the room.
“I can have my peace now, gosh, those two” he said and his mind went to what happened in the field.
They suddenly found themselves on top of the red rock.
“What happened?” Alfred asked and looked around to see Ramos.
“Abel, it’s his work” Ramos said.
“Abel!!!!!!, I’m ki||ing him” Alfred shouted.
JERUSALEM’S HOUSE*
It was noon already, Salome came into her room.
She was rubbing her stomach after the lunch she had with her parents.
She was walking to the bed with the thought of leaving for the institute. How would life there be? Would she still have her freedom?
She was still thinking about these things when she suddenly started feeling a chill on her skin.
Her windows opened at once and she shifted back in fear.
“What is happening?” she asked.
Her wardrobe opened at once and her eyes widened when her clothes started flying out of the wardrobe.
“Ahhhh!!!!” she shouted as a strong wind entered her room and surrounded her.
Her room opened and her parents came in.
“It’s time” Sam said.
“We will miss you child, it’s time for you to leave, bye” Brenda smiled.
“Father, mother” she was yet to complete her statement when the wind took her out of the room through the window.
“We will miss her” Brenda said and Sam hugged her face to his chest.
THE INSTITUTE•
The disciples were having self training when suddenly a strong wind entered the institute and a new disciple appeared.
“The new disciple” A disciple shouted.
Two appeared at once, and two more appeared.
Three girls and two boys.
Alfred and Ramos were just entering the institute and they stopped when they saw the new disciples.
“Gosh, three girls, new holes, they are pretty with nice behind” Alfred licked his lips and Ramos hit him on the head.
“Ramos!!” Alfred cried out.
Salome’s eyes widened when she saw herself in the institute, she was in her room and suddenly the wind entered her room and now she’s here.
She looked around and saw the disciples looking at them.
Wait, how many of them are here? Five?
“No!!!!!!!…….Mother” Salome shouted.
