Rain’s continued coughing badly and Maria had to pass her a cup of water, she quickly took it and drank it at once, she dropped the cup and exhaled heavily.
What’s happening? How come?
How’s she healthy and doing well? She should be in immense pain which will last for days.
Her eyes were on Salome and she couldn’t believe she was alright.
“I can’t believe this, the poison” Maria said.
Salome sat down with the girls and Molly passed her plate to her.
“Your plate?” Salome said.
“I will order for another plate?” Molly smiled, and called one of the servers.
“Why is Rain looking at you?” Loveth asked, and Salome turned to see Rain looking at her, their eyes met and Rain glared at her.
“Her business” Salome muttered and started eating.
“The training will be coming on later, I don’t want to participate” Jill said after drinking a full cup of water.
“You are always the lazy one among the disciples, I wonder how you pass the test” John said and Jill rolled eyes.
“Do you need another plate?” Mara asked and Jill shook his head.
“I’m full” Jill smiled.
“Are you okay?” Molly asked as she noticed Salome eating so slow.
“No, I’m alright” Salome smiled but inwardly she was wishing for Abel to come into the cafeteria.
•Superior Ramos
•He is here alone
•Where is superior Abel and Alfred
All the attention went to Ramos as he came into the cafeteria, his eyes went to Salome’s table and he started rushing there.
“Superior Ramos” the guys greeted and he waved at them before facing Salome
“Where is Minerva?” he asked.
“She is sick” Salome said and Ramos rushed out of the cafeteria immediately.
“Wow, so fast, wait what is going on between them?” Jason said.
“I think there is…”
“Shut and let’s eat” Molly said.
Salome smiled at her and she returned the smile.
Megan’s eyes met with Apollo but he quickly looked away.
MINERVA’S ROOM•
Minerva had just taken her bath and when she came out of the bathroom, she dressed in a robe and was still dressing up when Ramos barged into the room.
Minerva turned immediately and when she saw him, a smile fell on her lips.
Oh! How much does she miss him?
“I’m sorry for barging in like this” he apologized and she smiled.
“It’s nothing” she said and he came in.
“Salome told me you are sick, are you okay?” he asked, checking her temperature.
She felt her heart racing crazily as he touched her forehead.
He wanted to withdraw his hand but she held it and their eyes locked.
“Don’t take your hand away, I want it to be that way” she said in a low voice, and he smiled, looking at her pretty face.
“Crazy vampire” he said.
“Superior Ramos” she called softly and they started staring at each other.
“Are you alright?” he asked.
“I’m fine now” she said.
“I was worried” he said and she blushed, stylishly looking away.
“Can I hug you?” she asked.
“Yes” he replied and took his hand away from her forehead, he widened his arms and she hugged him tightly, almost suffocating him but he didn’t say anything.
He hugged her back.
She smiled, placing her head on his chest.
After two minutes, she pulled away from the hug and they started smiling at each other.
“Are you not going to eat?” he asked.
“I don’t have the appetite” she said and he brought his face closer, her heart started beating so fast as his breaths hit her face.
She looked at her face and didn’t look away till he smiled and looked up.
“You are craving for blood” he said and she gasped.
“How did you know?” she asked shockingly, and he smiled.
“I smell blood on you” he replied.
“You drink human blood?” he asked.
“No, I drink animal blood” she replied and he took her hand.
“Let’s go hunting, it will be dangerous if you don’t drink the blood”
“You know much about vampires” she said.
“It may be hard to control it when the craving becomes higher, shall we?” he asked sweetly, and she nodded.
“We are going to the woods” he said and started walking out.
Minerva placed her hand on her chest, feeling the beat of her heart, she kept smiling and looking at him till they walked out.
THE SANCTUARY•
Sapphire got to the gate and stood there.
A guard walked to her.
“Sapphire” the guardian of the gate said.
“I’m here to see the goddess” Sapphire said, and the guardian nodded.
He waved his hand and the wide gate opened.
Sapphire went inside till she got into the palace.
She stood before the throne and after a while, the wind filled the throne room and Goddess Evlyn appeared on her throne.
Her face was covered with extra brightness. Since her creation no supernatural has been able to see her face, doing it will attract death so her face is covered in brightness.
Sapphire went on her knees immediately and bowed.
“Greetings goddess”
“Sapphire, I know why you are here but I’m sorry to say I can’t change his destiny, leave” the goddess said.
“Goddess please, why can’t you change his fate?”
“He’s destined for it and he is the one to decide his fate and don’t try anything funny cos he will turn against you, now leave” goddess Evlyn said, and waved her hand, Sapphire disappeared.
MASTER STEFAN’S ROOM•
“Sapphire is so stubborn, she still went ahead to meet the goddess” master Stefan said.
“Do you think the goddess will grant her request?” master Lenovon asked.
“Since the creation of the universe, goddess Evlyn hasn’t changed any supernatural fate, Abel is lucky, he has an option to decide his fate”
“But you know it’s not easy to do that”
“Guess you have confirmed who the girl with green blood is?” master Stefan said.
“Yes, Salome is the special one, we have to protect her”
“That’s why I’m going to assign Rain to her, she is the key to unlocking her full powers once and for all” master Stefan said.
“It’s time for the training” master said and master Lenovon nodded.
They left the room together.
THE ASSEMBLY•
The disciples were assembled on the assembly ground while waiting for the masters.
“Where is Minerva?” Molly asked Salome.
“I don’t actually know” Salome replied.
“Superior Ramos is not in the institute too” Mara said.
“I think he’s with her, he left immediately Salome told him she was sick” Jill said.
The masters appeared on the stage and the disciples faced them.
“Greetings Masters” the disciples said in unison.
“I want to make a simple announcement, Rain, you will be the one to train Salome” master Stefan said and Salome gasped.
Rain, who was just getting there, stopped walking.
“Master…”
“No objection, failure to do that attracts punishment” master Lenovon said and Rain hissed out angrily and turned her eyes to Salome.
“Why would master Stefan assign her to train you?” John said.
“She clearly h@ťěs you” Apollo said and Salome sighed.
“The training starts now, Rain leaves with your student to another place” Master Stefan said and walked out.
“I can sense something” Jason chuckled.
“I hope they don’t fight” Molly said.
“Let’s train together” Paul said to Loveth.
She was about to reply when John talked.
“Let’s train together” John said and Paul looked at him.
“I asked her first” Paul said gently.
“That doesn’t count” John said and grabbed her hand.
“What is the meaning of that?” Paul said and pushed his hand away with his eyes.
“What did you just do?” John asked, getting vexed.
“Guys, I’m not training with anyone, I’m sorry, I will try with the girls” Loveth said and walked away.
Paul and John looked at each other blankly before walking away.
“Two hot guys hitting on you” Mara laughed when Loveth joined them.
“I don’t want to talk about it” Loveth said.
“I think they like you” Megan said.
“Girls, please” Loveth said.
“Okay,fine, let’s focus on the training, we can talk about that later” Mara said and Loveth rolled eyes.
ANOTHER TRAINING GROUND•
Rain has been looking at Salome h@ťěfully since they got here, it’s almost twenty minutes now and she hasn’t started anything.
“You were assigned to train me, are we going to stay here like this, when are you starting?” Salome asked and Rain scoffed.
“Do you think I loved being here with you?”
“I know this is against your wish, this isn’t my wish for you to train me too” Salome snapped, and Rain glared at her.
“Mind your words, I can decide to deal with you here” Rain said h@ťěfully.
“We are here for you to train me or for us to exchange words?” Salome asked.
“Let’s start” Rain said and faced a flower vase.
“Lift that flower vase with your mind” Rain said and Salome faced the flower vase.
She looked at the flower vase and tried lifting it up with her mind but it didn’t work.
“I can’t do that” Salome said and Rain started laughing mockingly.
“You can’t lift a flower vase with your mind, a simple task and you can’t do it you are not qualify to be a disciple of this institute, what a waste” Rain said and lift the flower vase easily, she looked at Salome and threw it at her, the flower vase came at her and it almost hit her but Rain broke it with her eyes.
“What are you even doing here? Are you a human?” Rain asked, laughing mockingly.
“Are you going to laugh like a fool or teach me how to do it” Salome said.
“What did you just say?” Rain asked angrily.
“You heard me right?” Salome replied.
“You can’t lift a simple flower vase and you aren’t ashamed of yourself, it’s a waste to call you a witch, you came here and instead of you to focus on what you are here for, you are busy chasing after Abel like a wh-_-re you are, powerless slut” Rain said.
“Better than a rejected saint” Salome said and Rain sped to her, grabbed her by the neck and pushed her against the wall and started choking her.
“Abel can never be yours Ɓîtçh” Rain said, still choking her.
Salome was trying to break free but she couldn’t, tears came out of her eyes and suddenly something strange started happening.
Her tears turned green and her eyes started turning green slowly till her eyeballs turned completely green.
A force suddenly pushed Rain away from her and she landed on the ground.
Salome’s hair started growing longer than before and a strong breeze started blowing, thunder struck in the sky.
The environment started changing and her hair grew longer reaching her legs. Her face became vile.
Rain’s eyes widened as she saw the form Salome was in and she knew something was off her as she felt the strong aura she was carrying now.
Salome’s eyes changed from green to deep red, she was looking so scary and powerful in her new form and she was aware of what was happening right now.
She faced Rain and Rain almost buried herself into the ground.
