Mia was locked inside her room again while her new born son was taken away to be ki||ed.
She tried everything in her power to open the door and save her som but the door was heavily guarded with locks.
She screamed and cried, she’s ready to die in place of her son but no one listen to her and when the king announced her adultery behavior,most people blamed her while others blamed the king for marrying her with force in the first place.
They are ready to throw the baby down the empire’s tower with many people watching but then something unexpected happened.
The sky darkened and roar with thunder but the rain refuse to fall with a heavy cloud hanging up in the dark sky.
Then he appeared looking angry sending fear down everyone’s body as he float in the air while looking at the king holding and about to drop the baby boy.
“How dare you try to ki|| my son!”he roar and the sky listen to the anger in his voice as the thunder strike the ground and the sky open up in a great rage with rain falling like stone, hitting and beating everyone.
The king was trembling “my king! Queen Mia! She’s not breathing,i think she commit suicide”a maid yelled loudly to the king’s ear so he can hear him.
Hearing this,the man standing in the mid air suddenly look at the king and his eyes flashed with anger.
He’s ready to struck down the tower and ki|| all of them but he disappeared and appeared in Mia’s room.
She really committed suicide, she cut her own throat open “Mia!”he yelled and knelt down next to her body.
“Don’t ki|| them, they are innocent,let my son live among them please”her lips didn’t move but he heard her.
She saved her last breath to tell him this before giving up on her own life and he stood up carrying her dead body.
He appeared where everyone stood rooted unable to make a move or take a single step.
An inhuman scream from him ki||ed almost half of the people available before he calmed down.
“He will stay here and i promised not to appear here ever again as long as his life isn’t thr_@tened “he said.
It seem more like a thr_@t and warning rather than a promise and he disappeared never to come back since then.

The king left the throne room in fear and went straight to Jake’s chamber which is really rare.
Liam and shuan couldn’t believe their eyes when they saw the king’s carriage approaching and Quan immediately ran off to inform Jake and Juliana.
Jake and Juliana are preparing to go to bed when Quan arrived and tell them about the king.
“What does that old rag want now”Julie mumbled obviously angry but put on her dress and follow Jake outside.
Jake noticed the uneasiness in the king as he approach them “jake”he called trying to sound intimidating but failed.
“I want you to go to the ki quarter and start finding any evidence of her escape,ehmm….i received some … thr_@ts and I’m sure it’s from her,she must have found alliance”he said trying to sound convincing.
Juliana frowned at this and look at jake who didn’t say a word “you are anxious father,calm down”he said but the king shot him a glare.
“Father?? Your real father is the devil and nearly ki||ed me just now bastard”the king said in his mind.
“It’s ok, I’m calm now,go to there now,we can’t waste any more time”he said and quickly get inside his carriage and left leaving jake and the rest standing and watching his retreating carriage.
“The king look rather unwell and anxious,did he really received a thr_@t?”shuan asked but Jake didn’t say a word.
“I will go check out the quarter now,julie go to sleep,i will be back soon”he said and knowing she might want to follow him quickly added”I will just check,if i find any clue,we are going to check it out together tomorrow “he pecked her lips and teleport out of sight.

Jake sighed heavily as he appeared in the ki quarter and started looking around but he knew it’s useless since he won’t be able to find any proof without going into the chambers which he doesn’t want to do.
All of a sudden Valdez growl in his head and he also catch that unusual scent ” a demon”Valdez said and jake frowned “how can a demon helped her?”he asked.
“Not just any demon dummy,try to perceive it well and then you will realize while i growl”Valdez replied.
“Yes, it’s rather powerful and strong than a regular demon”he said “yes,this is from the tnree other sons of your father”Valdez said but quickly cursed realizing what he said.
“What?”jake frowned again and this time confused “neither Micheal nor his brothers are demon”he replied but Valdez didn’t say a word again.

Fah’n smirked and his brothers chuckled at this “prad’h, don’t you think father is being unfair,how can he want to give your position to someone thay can’t even read scent,he can’t even recognize his blood”fayr said.
“Yes brother,i don’t understand this either”fah’h supported his brother too.
“I think i do, Jake’s mother is father’s real mate while our mothers are just concubines he fancied enough to let their children lives”prad’h face twisted in anger but he control himself.
“It’s settled then,we will trap him just like father said,the orb doesn’t allow anyone to use their powers to the full potential so his mate will be able to ki|| him easily,just make sure to ki|| that heren immediately she ki||ed Jake’s mate”prad’h said simply.
They sneered staring at the confused jake as he sniffed the air again then sighed heavily before teleporting out of there .

Jake went back to his chamber and met Julie wide awake,she stood up immediately he came inside.
“Did you find anything?”she asked worriedly”yes….”he trailed off and sighed”there’s an unusual scent left behind”he said.
“Unusual?”Julie asked not understanding what he meant but it seems like he doesn’t want to talk about wh@ťěver he found there.
“Let’s sleep,we will take a look tomorrow morning and i will tell you what i know”he smiled and without any more questions they both went to bed.
