“That man really have a lot of strength, I mean how can he chase me around Maelstrom” She said.
“Hey you!!! Give me back my money!!!” Marcellus yells from behind her.
“I’m so dead. Why can’t he stop chasing after me?” Swati asked and took to heels again.
“Give me back my money!!” Marcellus shouted going after her.

⟨ ISHA’S CAVE ⟩
Inside Isha’s cave, the person on the veil is seen talking to Isha.
“Why was Cheng able to control himself when Tatiana called his name?”
“That’s what I can’t figure out yet. I need to figure out why, I’m sure there’s a kind of connection, but I can’t figure it out yet. So for now, we have to set Cheng free”.
“You can’t take the demon out from his body. I wanted him to be possessed because I want everyone to h@ťě him” The person in the veil said.
“That’s not what I mean. Removing the demon from Cheng’s body is impossible” Isha said.
“Huh”
“We possessed him with the power of a demon, but I can’t take out the demon in his body, only the powers of the heavens can” Isha said.
“So what do you mean by setting Cheng free?”
“What I meant is that, for the meantime I won’t control Cheng to do evil, is the only way for me to find out about the connection between Cheng and Tatiana” Isha said.
“But seeing Cheng suffer is what I want” The person in the veil said.
“But you got half of what you want, right? Everyone in Maelstrom knows he’s a demon and everyone in the palace h@ťěs him. If you want your son to successfully take the throne, we have to lay low for now” Isha said and continues with the incantations.

“Where have you been Swati? You didn’t report back to lord Jin” A servant said when Swati came back to her master’s house.
She has successfully escape from Marcellus. Swati drank a bowl of water before answering the servant.
“I had a hectic day today. I ran all around Maelstrom just to escape from someone. Is lord Jin mad at me?” Swati asked.
“Go check for yourself” The servant said and leaves.
Swati takes in her lips before going to her master’s Chamber.
“Greeting my Lord” Swati greeted bowing her head.
“Where have you been?” Lord Jin asked
“I’m sorry my lord. I can’t explain where’s I have been the entire day, but if you want to punish me I’ll gladly accept it” Swati said, since she was used to getting punished anytime she messed up.
“Luckily you won’t get any punishment from me” He said.
“Really?” Swati asked smiling.
“Yes. I’ll be transferring you to another master, you’ll be serving him from now on” Lord Jin said.
“You’re taking me to another master? But I just started working here as a servant” Swati said.
This will be the tenths time she will be getting transferred to another master this month and it was really tiring.
“Yeah I know. But his father is a close friend of mine, so he needs more servants to work for him, during his stay here” Lord Jin said.
“Alright Lord Jin, When will I leave?” Swati asked.
“Tomorrow”
“Tomorrow!!!” Swati exclaimed.

⟨ NEXT DAY ⟩
“Wow, Maelstrom is indeed so beautiful Kira” Narmada said walking around Maelstrom with Kira. And as usual she was dressed like a poor breed.
“Yes it is, Princess Narmada” Kira said.
Narmada smiles and went over to where hairpins was sold. She took one of it and place it on her hair.
“It looks so good on you” The seller said.
“How much is it?” Narmada said smiling.
“3 pieces of coins” The seller replied.
Narmada looks at Kira and she gives the seller 3 coins.
“Have more of it Ma’am” Narmada said giving her extra 5 coins.
“Thank you so much. You’re not dressed like people from the noble family, how come are you able to give me this” The seller asked.
“Well I just got my pay from my master” Narmada said smiling and she leaves after wearing the hairpin.
“Really? You got your pay from your master. You’re indeed making a fool out of everyone” Kira said and Narmada giggles.
“Wait here Princess Narmada, I’ll just get the jades from the jades store” Kira said.
“Alright Kira” Narmada said smiling. And when Kira left, Narmada brought out her mirror looking at the hairpin in her hair.
“Is so beautiful” She said smiling. She was so engrossed with the hairpin that she didn’t notice a running horse who lost its control coming her way.
She was almost hit by the running horse, but someone was quick to pull her into an alley and Narmada’s eyes went wide open in shock as her back slammed the wall with the person’s body colliding with hers.
And after some seconds he moved away from her body.
“Hey!!! Where’re your brains!!” He yells at her and Narmada furrowed her eyebrows.
*Did he just raise his voice at me. Well I can’t blame him, I’m dressed like a commoner* Narmada thought.
“You would have been ki||ed by that running horse, but all you cared was looking at your hairpin” He said. Narmada looks st him and that’s when she noticed how handsome he was.
“I… I didn’t see the horse coming” She said in a low voice.
“You should be careful next time” He said.
“Thank you” Narmada said admiring how handsome he was.
He search for her hairpin since it flew out of her hair when he saved her. He sees the hairpin lying on the ground, he took it and wears it back on her hair.
“Sorry I shouted at you” He said leaving.
“Wait…. What’s your…” Narmada stopped and sighs.
“I wish I got the chance to know his name. But he’s so handsome” Narmada muttered walking out of the alley and sees Kira looking for her.
“Where have you been Princess Narmada? I was looking for you” Kira asked. Narmada looks at her.
“Kira, I think I have been whipped” She said laughing out loudly and Kira wondered what was going on with her.

Swati sighs looking at the house in front of her. “I hope l last here, is so frustrating that I keep getting transfer to different masters everyday. I hope he will be nice to me” Swati said.
“You’re Swati, right?” A servant asked approaching her.
“Yes I am”
“My name is Jaya, I’m one of Marcellus’s servant” Jaya said.
“Marcellus?” Swati asked.
“Yes. He’s the one you will be serving from now on” Jaya said smiling.
“Why are you calling him by his name then?” Swati asked.
“Because he ask us to. He’s young and handsome” Jaya said.
“Young and Handsome?”
“Yes. I thought your formal master told you about him. He is a foreigner here in Maelstrom, but he’s so kind-hearted” She said and Swati didn’t say a word to her.
“Come with me Swati, we have a lot of fixing to do” Jaya said.
“Fixing?” Swati asked.
“Yes. Marcellus just moved in here, so we need to fixed the whole place for him”Jaya said.
“Alright then” Swati said wearing a slight smile.
She enters the house with Jaya and she was assigned to tidy up Marcellus’s room. She was tidying up the room when Marcellus enters the room, and their eyes widened when both saw each other.
“You!!!” Both shouted at the same time.
“What are you doing here?” Swati asked.
“I should be asking you that, Why is a scammer like you doing in my room?” He asked giving her h@ťěful look.
“My room? Don’t… Don’t tell me you are Marcellus?” Swati stuttered as her eyes widened the more.
Marcellus sn_gg@ and said. “I see you are the servant Lord Jin told me about. Is a good thing you walk straight to the lion’s den after stealing its meat” Marcellus said and grabbed her wrist.
“Where are you taking me?” Swati asked struggling to take her hand from him
“Reporting you to the Chief judge of Maelstrom, for scamming a foreigner” Marcellus said trying to take her out of the room, but Swati took the ceramic vase that was close to her and landed it on his head.
Marcellus saw seven stars before landing to the floor, losing consciousness.
