Annabelle was in her room obviously restless. She couldn’t even relax here.
Her head was so messed up at the moment and being in these clothes made her extremely uncomfortable.
And her so called mate who promised to get her new clothes didn’t even think of her changing her clothes.
She stood up and then an idea popped up on her head. She smiled mischievously and stared at the door which was made of wood and painted sliver.
Almost immediately she ran and rammed her head hard on the door, knowing fully well the consequences.
“Blue eyes!” A loud growl came behind her immediately and she smirked. Maybe this is what she’s gonna be using to punish him.
She looked up at him and noticed he was caressing his head. His eyes held pain.
He took slow steps towards her, his eyes blazing and that only sent chills down Anna’s spine. She never thought that he would be this mad but right now he was looking a dangerous beast ready to devour his prey.
He got to her and grabbed her shoulders roughly staring into her eyes.
“I warned you, didn’t I?”
“You took me for a joke?!”
His cold dangerous voice said as he held her shoulders more tightly.
Anna swallowed hard not knowing what to say.
“I, I,…”
“Shut up!” He growled in angst. He suddenly paused when he noticed somebody was trying hard to speak with him through the mind link.
He groaned and immediately left Anna who breathed out in relief.
“I’m here..”
Immediately Axel looked at Anna and grabbed her right hand.
“Follow me..” He said and within seconds, they were in the living room. Axel looked around and then spoke.
“You can come in now Kathleen..”
Almost immediately, a lady appeared in the living room.
“Axel…” She called with a beautiful smile and Anna looked at her and her jaws dropped.
“This lady was d@mn beautiful. She had this segzy curves and she was sure that this lady was also a vampire. How many allies does this ruthless monster have?”..
She took her eyes away from Axel and then it landed on Anna. She scrutinised her from head to toe and then shook her eyes.
“Did you bring what I asked for?!” Axel’s voice suddenly brought them out of their reverie.
The Kathleen lady flashed another smile at Axel which Anna found irritating. She was trying to please him and make herself look good in his sight.
“I brought them..” She said raising almost five shopping bags up.
“Give them to her!” Axel said and Kathleen’s eyes widened.
“Her?” She questioned.
“I don’t repeat myself Kathleen..” Axel says and then brought out a phone from his pocket. Kathleen glared at Anna and passed her the bags.
“How’s the company doing?” Axel asked and she nodded.
“Very good..” She replied her eyes still fixated on Anna.
“Excuse me..” Anna said and walked away.
“Who’s she?” Kathleen asked and that was when Axel took his gaze from his phone to her.
“Her? She’s my mate!” He replied.
“But…”
“Once you’re done. You can leave and inform me if Mr Peterson causes another havoc..” He said and with that he was gone.
Kathleen scoffed and clenched her fists.
“His mate..”
“I thought he was cursed. How come he has a mate!” She said angrily. It was then she looked up and noticed Anna coming down from the stairs.
Kathleen smirked.
“So she’s human. Pathetic mate!” She cursed inwardly.
Anna came down from the stairs staring at Kathleen.
“You?!” Kathleen’s voice came behind her.
