She gasped as fear gripped her. She held to her gown tightly.
“Axel!” She called and her voice echoed.
“Axel..” She called again and suddenly the lights went on.
“Anna..” She heard his voice behind her and she turned immediately. Axel smiled and then went on his knees, then he brought a box, opened it and Anna gasped. Her purse fell from her and then she used her right palm to cover her mouth. Then she saw her parents, Leo and her aunt and uncle also coming out.
“Anna, I’ve always been a cold stupid fool, an heartless monster until I met you. You became a light in my world, you shone brightly into my dark world. I didn’t even realise I could fall in love with you despite the curse. But you did it! You really did it..” He said and Anna smiled out tears.
“Even if we are married, I could remember thr_@tening you..” He added and Anna laughed.
“So I’m asking for your permission now, will you marry me? Will you be mine?” He asked and Anna nodded.
“Yes..” She said and they both smiled. He brought out the ring and slid it into her finger while they clapped for them. He stood up and smiled, holding her waist.
“You look beautiful, blue eyes..” He whispered and she smiled and wrapped her arms around his shoulders.
“You look more handsome..” She sad and then he placed his forehead on hers and then hugged her tightly as they clapped the more.

“Aunt Catherine, I’m glad you came..” Anna squealed and hugged Catherine tightly.
Catherine smiled and hugged her tightly.
“I missed you, my sweet pie..” She said and then broke the hug.
“Aunt, where’s Elmo?”
Catherine’s face dropped immediately.
“Actually, he…”
“My beautiful bestie!” A voice yelled out drunkenly and they all turned back immediately.
Her eyes widened when she saw Elmo. He was looking terribly drunk. His hair was disheveled and he staggered towards her.
“Baby..” He called when he got to her and she furrowed her brows.
“Elmo! Elmo, What’s wrong?” Anna asked and cupped his cheeks.
“I can’t believe my baby is a big girl now.. She’s getting married. No, she’s actually married and worse is that she didn’t even tell me, her own best friend!” He said and Anna shook her head.
She was really feeling guilty. No one can deny that Anna really loved Elmo. They grew up together and did things together. She even once had a crush on him but he told her it was just a feeling that won’t last and it was. Whether she was married or in love with Axel doesn’t change the love and respect she had for him and it was really rare to see Elmo drunk. Something must be bothering him.
“Elmo, What’s wrong?” She asked and Elmo held her waist.
Everyone’s eyes widened except Anna who was naive enough to think of it as nothing. Axel sighed out angrily, his eyes fixated to Elmo’ hand on her waist. He clenched his fists tightly trying to keep his cool cause he knows that Anna wouldn’t like it.
“I h@ťě it Anna! I h@ťě the fact that you are so blind. You can’t even see, you can’t see my real feel..” He couldn’t complete his statement when he held his head.
“Elmo!” Anna called out worriedly.
“Are you okay?” She asked.
They were suddenly distracted by the sounds of heels clicking and they all turned except Anna who was trying to help Elmo get to a chair and Axel also.
The person came into view. She was elegantly dressed and a smile escaped her lips as she lokke around. Axel’s whose eyes was fixated on Anna didn’t notice.
Leo’s eyes widened immediately he saw her.
“Hii..” Came her calm soothing voice and Axel’s eyes widened. He could recognise that voice from anywhere, no matter what.
“Elena..” He said and looked up. His eyes widened the more when he saw her standing right in front of her. She was real!
Elena smiled when she saw the look on Axel’s face. Oh! How much she missed him!
“Axel!” She called and everyone looked at Axel who was still shocked to the core.
