Back at Axel’s Mansion.
Leon smiled and immediately walked in but already, she was already back to normal as if nothing happened at all.
“Did you see that Leon?” She asked him and he smiled and sat next to her.
“Yes, I have always known that you are special..” He told her
“But my powers come whenever they like and go whenever they like. It’s getting confusing!” She said looking at her hands and Leon smiled.
“Your powers will come at the right time when you have to protect your loved ones with it. Don’t worry Anna!” He said.
“May I ask you something?” She said and He nodded.
“Can you tell me why Axel acts that way? He acts like a wood, some times he acts okay and cool and other times he’s hot headed and totally ignored me like I disgust him” Anna said.
Leon sighed deeply.
“You won’t understand?”
“What? What do you mean?”
“He had a terrible past. A very terrible past”
Anna looked at him curiously.
“Tell me more..” She pleaded.
“It would be more better if you heard it from him!” Leonel stated.
“Please I really want to know!” She said and Leonel sighed.
“Fine but I won’t tell you all. You seriously need to hear it from him not me but still I’ll give in some rew details. Well, Axel is the king of all demons and Vampires as you know. I..”
“Leonel!” Axel mind linked him and he paused.
“I know what you are about to do but don’t you dare” Leonel sighed and stood up immediately. He had no choice, he could not tell her anything nor could he defy Axel’s order.
“I’m sorry Anna but I can not tell you what you want to hear. I’m really sorry!” He said with pleading eyes and Anna scoffed.
“Oh really! That would be it. I’m d@mn tired of living like this!” She snapped and madd to walk out the door angrily but Leonel’s voice stopped her.
“Where are you going? What are you going to do?” He asked her.
“You don’t need to know and don’t you dare stop me!” She yelled and stormed out even before he could stop her.
It suddenly dawned on him.
“Hey Anna! Wait up!” He yelled running after her.
“I can’t do this anymore. I just can not. I just wish to die!” She thought as more tears poured from her eyes. She got to the balcony and stared down.
“Should I just jump down and die! After all my parents are dead!” She said and cried harder.
“My life’s just the worst nightmare. My parents got ki||ed and worse by mate and my mate whom I don’t have any bond with than to only share his pain even when we have not Mated! I h@ťě this! I h@ťě my life!” She yelled inwardly and wiped her tears but then she suddenly felt a force lift her up and immediately her eyes widened.
But before she could process what was happening, she was lifted up with a sudden force and @zz thrown harshly to the ground. Blood immediately splashed from different parts of her body but as usual her wounds started healing.
Leonel who saw this gasped. His eyes widened.
“Anna!” He yelled and within a second, Axel appeared there.
His eyes dilated in shock as he saw Anna groaning in pain, rolling all over the ground.
Axel immediately sped towards her and immediately carried her in his eyes.
An emotion flashed through his eyes as he stared at her.
The emotion was called fear!
Fear!!”
“Anna, are you okay?” He asked worriedly.
Anna who was struggling not to close her eyes managed to nod.
“Dam!” Axel cursed and immediately sped towards his room. He appeared in it in a second and gently dropped her dirty bruised body on the bed.
Leonel and Lia came in soon after.
“Call the doctor?!” He yelled at Leon.
“On it!” Leon said and Lia smirked looking at Anna.
“That’s the just the beginning. You are going to suffer more than this!” She thought and smirked even more.
“And just so you know, I’m actually interested in your mate. He’s got the ki||er look and everything, yet he had to have a foolish mate like you!” She thought and jumped.
Axel sat beside her and held her hands caressing it gently.
For the first time in several years, he was scared. He was so d@mn scared. He knew it was not so serious but it actually didn’t matter to him.
Even though he was feeling her pains right now, he just could not help but panic. But how? How could she think of ki||ing herself?” He asked himself.
He then took his hands to her face and caressed it.
“I don’t want to feel this again so please don’t try this again” He said and kissed her hands gently.

Few mins later.
Axel sighed as his eyes never left the sleeping lady on his bed.his hands moved to her face again and he caressed it gently and then smiled.
“Wake up beautiful..” He whispered and then leaned closer to her before giving her a peck on her forehead.
“I can’t bear losing any one I love any more. I just can’t deny these feelings any longer. The more I try to deny it, the stronger it becomes. Distancing myself from you is so hard but i have to do it in order to control my demon from taking over and now I don’t want to hold back anymore. I want to be happy spending the time with you. I want to forget my past and just focus on the future, on us”
“Let’s try to be happy together now Annabelle!” He said again with all smiles and he kissed her hair again.
he rushed to her pulling her into a hug, a tight one at that!

“Why did you do that? Why did you try to ki|| yourself?” His soothing voice asked and Anna almost melted but what she heard made her cringe.
She pulled away from the hug forcefully.
“Hey, did I do something wrong?” He asked her as he held her hand and stared into her eyes and Anna gulped hard.
d@mn! He was making her feel so hot.
“Firstly, I didn’t try to ki..”
“Yes, it’s my fault!” He interrupted her.
“I pushed you to your limit” He said.
“Axel why are you so cold to me?” She suddenly asked and he shivered.
This was the time to tell her everything.
“Sometimes you are cool and something you act like you disgust me and now you are here taking card of me again. You should really make it easier for me to h@ťě you!” She exclaimed and tears rushed from her eyes.
“Sash, it’s okay..” He cooed as he used his thumb to wipe her tears.
“I’m….” He paused and then closed his eyes as he sighed.
“I’m sorry for making you cry..” He said and kissed her tears and yet again Anna’s heart started to race. He pulled away and stared into her eyes like he was searching for something so important. There was an overwhelming silence between the both of them until he broke it.
“Anna, I will tell you everything about me. About my past”
