“Well tell her to stop being a poke noser. ” Leroy said and then Jonathan made a big ball of fire to hit Leroy but just as he dodged it, the door came open and it hit Echo.
“Echo” Jonathan screamed her name and rushed to where she was. She was already unconscious.
He turned to Leroy and he glared at him hardly. “See what you made me do you selfish bastard”
Leroy scoffed. “Selfish bastard… At least i wasn’t the one who hurt her. I don’t act according to my emotions”
“Well go take care of your princess. I wasn’t the one who hurt her” He said and left carrying the wolf with him.
Jonathan shook Echo consecutive times and when she didn’t respond, he took her to his room.

A short man like a dwarf was performing some healing rituals for Echo. Jonathan was present in the room as the man did his job.
The man looked at his back and he saw Jonathan looking sideways and he released a short smile.
He brought a very small knife from his pocket and then he used it to cut a piece of Echo’s hair.
He quickly put the hair and the knife back into his bag and then he smiled happily. He finally got the hair.
“I’m done. She’s already breathing fine. What she needs is just enough rest” The dwarf man said when Jonathan turned to him.
Jonathan nodded and then he threw some coins at him before telling the man to leave.
He went to where Echo was laying on his bed and then he touched her forehead and her temperature was totally fine.
He was scared for a moment but now the next thing to face is her reaction. She would be angry that he was the one who hurt her.

The dwarf man was rejoicing in his mind. He would live a life of luxury for the rest of his life.
He wasn’t looking at where he was going and he bumped into a large body and he looked up. Because of how short he was the person looked like a giant to him.
The expression on the person face was giving him the chills and his eyes shook as he moved back slowly and fearfully.
His whole body was shaking cause the look he was receiving wasn’t friendly.
He turned back to escape but his strong hand pulled him back. He lifted the dwarf up just like a weightless doughnut.
He fling the man to a nearby wall and it cracked as the dwarf man broke his spinal cord.
Leroy walked slowly to him and then he squatted in front of him, giving him a deadly look as he took pleasure in seeing the man shake in front of him.
“Who sent you? ” He asked and the dwarf almost peed on his pant and he shook his head many times.
“I… I don’t know……. What..you’re saying” He replied with fear in his voice but his answer made Leroy chuckle and it was not a friendly one.
“I won’t repeat myself”
“It was her. I didn’t see her face but she sent me here and she said I should get the hair of any person in this castle” The man rushed his words and as he was talking he was peeing on his body.
Leroy stretched his hands forth and the dwarf placed the hair he took on Leroy’s palm.
Leroy patted his head before vanishing. The moment he left, the dwarf quickly ran out of the case not looking back for once.

When Jonathan had left, that was when Leroy came into the room. The dwarf man was a fake healer so all the healing rituals he performed was fake.
His only purpose of coming here is just to carry out what they sent him. If he hadn’t found out, no one would have known.
He got to where Echo was laying and he touched her forehead and it was cold. Leroy closed his eyes with his hand still on her forehead as he healed her with his powers.
When he was done, Echo sneezed and then her eyes was opened small as he vanished away.
Her eyes opened fully and then she looked around. She definitely saw a figure that looked like that of Leroy.
Was he the one who healed her?
<HOWARD HOME>
Iris was in the living room knitting a sweater when Reine opened the door entering in. She had a basket of fruits with her. She just came from the garden where she went to get fruits alone. Just like she had been doing for the past one week.
She ignored her mother as usual going into the kitchen to drop the basket of fruits im her hand.
“Reine” Iris called her name and she stopped on her tracks.
“When are you going to stop this silent treatment you have been giving me” She asked and Reine scoffed turning to her.
“I would only stop the day you look for Echo. How could you both chase her away” Reine yelled and then Iris dropped the sweater she was knitting, standing up.
“I told you that your father and i didn’t chase her away. She left on her own” Iris retaliated.
“I don’t f-__-king care. You have to look for her unless you won’t like the outcome” Reine said and then she flashed a dangerous look at her mum before leaving.
Iris sighed and began pacing around. Something had surely gotten into her daughter or Echo bonded with her so well.
Because she can’t understand why Reine wouldn’t rest. She was persistent in finding Echo and that was what was worrying her.
She had also tried looking around for Echo but it was like she disappeared totally from the kingdom.
Her husband came in tiredly and she rushed to him quickly. “How did the search go” She asked. That was the question she always ask him everyday.
What the shaman told them seems to be the opposite of what’s happening now. Because since she left things have not been going well for them.
And now they have realized they did the wrong thing but they couldn’t find Echo no matter how much they tried.
“We didn’t see her just like other days but a neighbour told me something suspicious” Howard said and Iris raised her brow thinking what that could be.
“She said that she saw Echo going away with a stranger. That she tried following them and right before her eyes, Echo vanished with the stranger” Howard said.
“What does she mean by that. It must have been a hallucination” Iris said not even believing a bit of what her husband said just now.
“I also found it weird but if she is still in this kingdom we’ll find her” Howard reassured his wife and she nodded.
She also hopes to find Echo. She has been unable to sell her fruits anytime she goes to the market and her husband work collapsed.
He borrowed money from some loan sharks to start afresh but it didn’t work and now the loan sharks are at their neck demanding for their money.
They have nothing to give them or they’ll have to sell their garden but no one was willing to buy.
Reine overheard all what her parents were saying and then she ran back to the room and closed the door.
She went to the mirror and slowly she changed into something different. A complete replica of Deepika.
It was her daughter.
She looked into the mirror as she thought about what Iris and Howard were discussing about.
Only three people in this kingdom had the power to teleport to anywhere they wanted. And those are the Alpha brothers.
If Echo vanished with a stranger. Then that stranger is one of the Alpha brothers.
Which brings her to the conclusion that Echo was in the Alpha Castle.
Then her next destination is there…….
