“You all created the bully of scholarship
students rule in the school and that was the
biggest reason why Frankie h@ťěd you cause his
girlfriend was among them”. Senator Russell
questioned.
“He never really loved her, he was just using
her”. Dylan replied.
“Really? Then how do you explain the fact that
you and your friends made them got suspended
for a crime you had an hand in?”. Senator
Russell asked again.
“They got suspended because of the school
board not because of me!”. Dylan snapped
getting pissed.
“Within the space of just four months in your
senior class you and your friends created a lot
of troubles hard to solve, and even went as far
as making school life unbearable for the less
privileged students in which both Lisa and
Clearn’s daughter Isla had to suffer from!!”.
Senator Russell snapped back and Dylan’s eyes
widened.
“Isla is senator Clearn’s daughter?”. Dylan
asked in shock.
“That’s not what we’re talking about right now.
You’re grounded two weeks, no school, no
phone, no cars and no clubbing till then! I’ve had
enough of your shenanigan!”. Senator Russell
said getting up from his seat.
“You think you have the right to have me
grounded? C’mon Russell since when do you
care about what ever I get myself involved in?
You left me to rot in jail for two months for a
crime i know nothing about right? If it wasn’t for
mom who helped bail me out then i’m d@mn
sure you would have really made me serve that
five years sentence!”. Dylan snapped before
getting up also and walking out of sight leaving
Senator Russell who stared after him.
EVENING…
“Heard you’re Oliver’s sister. Woah you’re rich
now!”. Lisa teased trying to cheer Isla up.
Lady Talia left already alone. The ladies were
chilling downstairs. Maya went strolling with
Oliver, while Olivia saw Davis off.
“Don’t take what the lady said to you to heart
okay? It’s obvious she shares the same temper
as me. So don’t worry she’ll come along”. Lisa
said when Isla’s mood refused to brighten up.
“You think so?”. Isla asked curiously.
“I…guess?”. Lisa stuttered, not sure of what
she was saying.
“Isla! I’ve been looking for you everywhere!”.
Aiden said walking in and Isla turned away from
him to wipe her tears while Lisa glared back at
him.
“Where have you been? Do you what happened
within the space of thirty minutes you spent
downstairs?!”. Lisa snapped.
“Woah! Cool down Queen L I’ve had enough
scolding for today”. Aiden said and Lisa rolled
eyes at him.
“Suit yourself! And don’t make her cry again!
Your mom has said enough”. Lisa said and Isla
faced Lisa with widened eyes.
“What? He deserves to know!”. Lisa said to her.
“Know what?”. Aiden asked Isla who bit her
lower lip not ready to utter a word.
“Your face looks so dull, has my baby been
crying?”. Aiden asked as he cupped Isla’s cheek
caressing it softly with his thumbs.
“Of course she has. Your mom was here and
she said so many mean things to your bad. She
even went as far as saying she wasn’t in
support of your relationship with Isla!”. Lisa
explained broadly and Aiden’s eyes widened
before facing Isla.
“Is all what she just said true?”. Aiden asked,
but Isla gave him no answer at all.
‘Trust me when I say it’s the absolute truth.
You don’t think i would lie in a situation like
these do you?!”. Lisa snapped at Aiden who in a
fit of rage left Isla and began storming out of
the room.
“Aiden just let it slide. It isn’t as serious as Lisa
stated it!”. Isla said as she held Aiden back with
her hands on his arm.
“So she did say something to you but you
refuse telling me?”. Aiden questioned.
“I just thought …Before Isla could finish Aiden
disconnected her hand from his arm before
walking out of the room.
“Why’d you do that?”. Isla asked Lisa.
“I just felt like it”. Lisa replied before walking
out of the door.
《THE GASTIO’S MANSION》
“Mum!! Mum!!”. Aiden yelled when he walked
into the living room and Senator Gastio who
was descending the stairs gave him a sharp
frown.
“What’s wrong? Why the shout?”. The senator
asked.
“Where’s mom?”. Aiden asked.
“I’m guessing you want to blast me because of
your little girlfriend?”. Lady Talia said,
descending the stairs.
“What did you tell Isla?”. Aiden asked glaringly
at Lady Talia.
“Nothing much. I just told her to stay away
from you cause I h@ťě her for you”. Lady Talia
and Aiden scoffed in annoyance.
“I f-__-king h@ťěs it when you try to interfere in
my personal affairs!”. Aiden snapped.
“Which Isla are you talking about here? Is it
Clearn’s and Camila’s new found daughter?”.
Senator Gastio asked in confusion.
“Yes she’s the same Isla”. Aiden said, staring at
his mom.
“Oh great! Everyone knew about that except me
who had to find out in the worst way possible!”.
Lady Talia said and Aiden rolled eyes at her.
“Would it have ki||ed you if you had introduced
her to me earlier? I didn’t know she was
Camilla’s daughter and now they’re all mad at
me”. Lady Talia said getting emotional and
Senator Gastio and Aiden sighed at the same
time.
“Be honest Talia. You don’t like her cause she’s
a scholarship student in the boys school”.
Senator Gastio said walking up to her, then she
stood up walking up to Aiden.
“Baby?”. She took Aiden by the hand but he
shrugged her hand away.
“I really h@ťěd the fact that you were rude to Isla
mom. Seriously I’m not happy with you”. Aiden
said before going up the stairs to his room.
“I’ll try to like her, okay Aidey! Now that she’s
Camilla’s daughter she won’t be a scholarship
student again right? I can like her now
considering the fact that she’s a crybaby!!”.
Lady Talia yelled after Aiden who stopped on
his track before turning to face her.
“I’m the only one allowed to call her a crybaby.
And don’t bother trying to speak to me in this
house if you don’t apologize to her”. Aiden
muttered coldly before finally going up the
stairs.
“You think I care?! I’m the wicked one for
wishing someone better for you!!”. Lady Talia
yelled after him.
“And you?! Won’t you say something to your
hot headed son. He’s planning on not speaking
to me till I apologize to his little girlfriend who
f-__-king does that!?”. Lady Talia yelled at
Senator Gastio who was not seated on on one
the chairs with his legs crossed as he scrolled
through his business tab, with his spectacles
on.
“If you’re in the wrong, apologize Talia…
“No way!”. Talia snapped loudly.
“You always take his side”. Lady Talia said
breaking down in tears and the senator signed
before dropping his tab on the table.
“Look honey. If you remember vividly you two
fight alot and I prefer not to interfere. You call
his girlfriend a crybaby but I think you’re a real
crybaby yourself. You’re just jealous of the love
he has for her. You’re afraid his entire attention
would divert from you to her and that’s why
you’re using her poor background as an excuse.
You never cared about the poor or rich? You
were even the one who brought up the idea of
sponsoring the less privileged to Geelong with a
scholarship. And now because of your son you
have to turn pitiful? Poor you”. Senator Gastio
said, patting her lightly on the shoulders before
going upstairs.
“You’re not going anywhere. You stay here till
I’m done feeling guilty”. Lady Talia said before
hugging him from behind.
“I knew I was risking a lot when I married a
drama queen like you. You get mood swings all
the time”. Senator Gastio smiled.
“I’m your problem. Deal with it!”. Lady Talia
muttered hugging him more tightly and the
senator turned to hug her warmly.
《THE CLEARN’S MANSION》
ISLA’S ROOM…
“You need help unpacking?”. Oliver asked,
walking into her room.
“No, I’m cool”. Isla declined as she arranged her
clothes into her new closet.
Her room was designed to suit her taste.
Everything was painted in pink including the
bed with fluffy duvet was pink. And the ceiling
was decorated with a pink mosaic shaped like a
star.
“You’ll get used to everything sooner or later,
don’t worry I’ll help you fit in perfectly”. Oliver
said and Isla nodded.
“I just came to call you down for dinner”. Oliver
said.
“I’ll be down in a sec”. Isla said.
“Take your time”. Oliver said before leaving.
“I felt more comfortable speaking to him when
I knew nothing about us being siblings. Now
everything just seems awkward”. Isla muttered,
then her mind drifted to Aiden and she thought
of calling him but she erased the thought.
DINING ROOM…
“The police have finally caught Frankie’s
accomplice together with his men in the airport
were they tried to flee the country with Jake’s
younger brother Chris ”. Senator Clearn said.
The whole family was eating at the diner.
“You mean Jake?”. Oliver said and Isla faced
him.
“Which Jake?”. Isla asked curiously.
“The one who works at the same restaurant as
you”. Oliver replied and Isla’s eyes widened.
“Speaking of which. You should quit your work
at the restaurant and fully face your studies”.
The senator said and Isla said nothing as she
ate, she was still wondering why Jake could do
something like that? Does this mean he was the
same Jake who released such illicit videos
about her? She thought within herself.
“You’ll be resuming tomorrow right?”. Lady
Camila asked Olivia who sat beside her.
“Yes mum”. Olivia replied with a smile and
Lady Camila patted her hair smoothly while Isla
stared at them.
Oliver and Senator Clearn saw that and when
they didn’t want her to feel left, they patted her
at the same time from both sides and Isla
smiled cutely at them.
But almost immediately the senator began
coughing profusely frightening everyone.
“Tristan!!”. Lady Camila called out in fright as
she offered him a glass of water.
But right when he took it, he began coughing
blood and everyone’s eyes widened.
“Oliver! Call the ambulance quickly!!”. Lady
Camila cried out and both Isla and Olivia began
crying while Oliver made the phone call.
“Dad!”. Isla cried out as she watched the
senator pass out…
