Diana stared at Arya suspiciously. She must have been the person that posted that picture.
“Hi I am Arya.”, She introduced herself stretching her hand and diana scoffed.
“Why are you pretending not to know me? We have met before.”, Dia replied ignoring Arya’s hand for a handshake.
“Oh yeah! I thought you wouldn’t recognize me, it’s nice meeting you again.”, She smiled and withdrew her hand in embarrassment.
“Since no one will introduce me, I will introduce myself. I am Dex, javen’s elder brother and this is my wife Arya.”, Dex said but Diana only stared at him.
*Javen has an elder brother?*
He looked familiar but Diana doesn’t know where she has seen him.
“Congrats on your contract marriage, I didn’t get a chance to congratulate you since it was kept a secret.”, Mrs Ford said with an uncertain smile.
Diana felt uncomfortable with everyone, no one seemed to be happy.
She looked at javen, he didn’t say a word. He just stared at them.
“I am sorry that I couldn’t make it to your celebration party, I had something more important to do and besides the wedding is a fake.”, He said bluntly and that moment Diana lost it.
She knew all what they were doing, they were insulting them indirectly.
“You don’t have to feel sorry brother-in-law, only important people were invited. Even if you didn’t have anything to do, you wouldn’t have been invited and about the marriage being a fake, javen and I will be the judge of that.”, She said and smiled too.
She wasn’t going to let everyone insult javen.
“How dare you talk to Dex like that? Let me remind you that you are no one important in this family.”, Mrs Brooks said referring to Diana.
“With due respect, no one is important to me here except from javen of course. So I think we are equal.”, Diana shot back and javen looked at her surprised.

“Serah!!!”, Alex cautioned his wife and she went mute immediately.
Diana noticed that Arya was quiet all this while and then she caught her staring at javen and she hissed.
*How can she be looking at javen in that manner?*
Diana excused herself and went to ease herself and when she replied she met Mrs Brooks speaking rudely to javen but he said no word.
*How can a mother treat her son like that?*
*Why did you choose that crazy girl of all things? She even dare insulted me? I don’t blame you, you took after your father into choosing the wrong people, just like how he chose your use*less mom*, Diana heard Mrs Brooks said
“Don’t bring faith into this.”, Alex cautioned but serah rolled her eyes.
“We are leaving now, we have an emergency.”, Diana said as she went to hold javen’s hand.
Javen looked at her with “do we?” Expression. As Javen was removing his hand, Diana was quick to hold it back especially because Arya was watching.
“We are not done with the dinner yet and I have things to discuss with Javen.”, Alex said.
“I won’t stay here and listen to your family insult javen and I, I understand if you don’t want me for son but why Is javen dragged to it. The marriage is a fake, after two years I will leave.”, Diana said.
“Thank God you Know your place, you can never be part of this family because your fake husband isn’t even part of this family.”, Dex Said and Diana looked at javen said nothing.
*Was he afraid of his own family?*, She wondered.
“Let’s just go.”, Javen said dragging Diana who wasn’t ready to back down from the agrument.
“Javen you can’t leave unless I ask you too, i didn’t call you here just for you to walk on us.”, Alex said and he stopped.
“Javen you are just a coward_ coward.”, Dex said and smirked.
Diana was about firing back but javen dragged her out.
“Don’t you dare walk out on me Javen.”, Alex said but he did anyway and that was the first time that javen was walking out of his dad.
Alex couldn’t believe what javen just did.
From the way javen was driving, it was obvious he was angry. He was just driving at a high speed, he wasn’t even thinking.
“Javen! Are you crazy? Do you want us to die?”, Diana yelled at him.
She was crazy and stubborn but she wasn’t ready to die.
“Why did you talk back?”, He asked calmly when he pulled over but Diana didn’t reply because she had no specific reason.
“Why did you talk back?”, He yelled this time and Diana flinched at the sudden outburst.
“Hey! Why are you shouting at me? I just couldn’t stand the insult and you weren’t saying anything or attempting to do anything. I deserve a thank you alright?”, She yelled back.
“Get out!”, He said with a low voice but Diana pretended not to hear him because it will be so ridiculous of him to ask her to come home by herself when she helped him.
“Get out of the car!”, He repeated and Diana laughed.
“How am I supposed to come home this late? You are not in your right mind now, think twice.”
“I said get out of the car!!! Find your way back.”, He yelled and she got down Immediately.
“Mr javen you will surely regret this.”, She said and your the door hard and he zoomed off.
“Wait! Did he just leave his wife on the road? Wasn’t he playing?”, She laughed trying to contain her anger.
She waited in case he would realize that it wasn’t safe and he was just being foolish but he didn’t even look back.
“I promise you javen, you will regret this.”, She said angrily.
She looked around and she didn’t even know where she was and the cash she had with her, she wasn’t sure if it would get her back home.
“He’s unbelievable!!! I h@ťě him so much.”, She muttered stomping her feet.
