Adelaide was surprised,why would the king suddenly hug her? But being in his arms is such a dream
Slowly,King Lucian broke the hug while looking down at her
“Do you think you should be walking around this late?” He asked
“I’m sorry my king….I lost something and I’m looking for it” Adelaide replied
“You should wait until morning,searching for it this night isn’t going to bring anything positive” King Lucian said and she nodded
“Thank you,Goodnight Your Majesty” She bowed and Lucian nodded
She bowed again and walked off
King Lucian also turned and started walking until he saw Carl running toward him
“Your Majesty!” He called when he got closer,he Inhaled and Exhaled
“You should have just told me you were going to take a walk,and why would you walk with no guards?? I was worried” Carl said
“Seriously??” King Lucian teased
“You know I’m really worried” Carl said
“Really? I don’t know you get worried about me” King Lucian smiled
“Don’t move about without telling me,and if I am not available,there are other guards too…”
“Why does this sound like you’re scolding me?” Lucian suddenly asked and Carl’s eyes widened
“Of course not!!” He bowed
“I’m just….”
“Let’s go,I’m sleepy anyway” Lucian cut him off and led the way

NEXT MORNING★QUEEN’S SUITE**
As King Lucian appeared,all the maids bowed
“Good morning your majesty” The chorused
“Is the queen in?” King Lucian asked
“Yes your majesty”
Lucian proceeded and went in and met Queen Sofia
“Son” She smiled as she saw him
“Morning mother” Lucian greeted
“And why are you here so early?” Queen Sofia asked as they both sat down
“I heard you gave your response about me approving the idea of getting married to Princess Liliana,but I can’t remember telling you about it,why would you do that behind me?” Lucian asked
“Because I know nothing fruitful would come out of it if you decide on your own,and besides,She’s quite a good one for you son,trust me. Don’t worry,she will be here for the ball night” Queen Sofia smiled and Lucian sighed
“I’m sorry son,I am just doing this because of you….”
“I know,maybe I should just give it a try..”
“I’m sure she’s the one” Queen Sofia grinned
“About the ball night,I can’t believe I didn’t realize it’s really close already” King Lucian said
“You don’t have to worry,the preparation is going on”
Lucian nodded and almost got up
“Wait,don’t leave. You should have some delicious soup I made myself” Queen Sofia stood up
“Really? You’re still cooking for yourself?” Lucian smiled
“I love it,so don’t try to stop me. Wait here” She said and went in

“Carl!” A familia voice called,making him stop. He turned back to see Lisa
“Princess” He bowed and Lisa walked closer
“Have you seen Adelaide? I’ve not seen her since yesterday,I hope she’s fine” Lisa mumbled worriedly
“I’m sure she’s fine,you don’t have to worry about her” Carl said and she nodded
They started walking together,suddenly Lisa stopped when she saw Nadia and Melita. Her eyes moved to Nadia’s wrist
“Hey you!” She called and they both turned
Lisa walked to Nadia and grabbed her wrist,Nadia’s eyes widened. She had forgot to take the bracelet off
“Why are you having this instead of Adelaide? Did you steal it?!” Lisa Snapped
“Oh..no my princess. Adelaide lost the bracelet and I found it this morning,I am going to give her when I see her” Nadia immediately said
“No need,give me right away” Lisa said
Nadia quickly removed it and handed it to Lisa,at that moment Adelaide showed up
“Adelaide,your bracelet!” Lisa waved the bracelet
Adelaide gasped and immediately ran to her
“Oh God…how did you find it? I’ve been searching for it” Adelaide said happily
“Well she found it” Lisa pointed to Nadia and Adelaide raised her brows in surprise
“Thank you” She muttered and turned back to Lisa
Nadia scoffed and left with Melita
“You should be careful from now on,Mother would get mad if you lost it” Lisa said as she wear the bracelet around Adelaide’s wrist
“I will be careful” Adelaide smiled
Lisa turned to Carl who have been quiet
“Thank you” She said and he nodded before walking away
Lisa bite her lips and faced Adelaide
“Let’s go” She smiled and hold Adelaide’s hand
“Where?” Adelaide asked
They both turned and suddenly sighted King Lucian from afar
“Nice,let’s go” Lisa said and started walking toward him while Adelaide followed obediently
“Good morning brother” Lisa grinned
Lucian looked at her and then Adelaide
“Good morning my king” She bowed
Lisa immediately grabbed Lucian’s arms
“I told you I was going to stop running out,now do you believe me?” She asked cutely
“Well I told you I don’t care” Lucian scoffed
“Come on brother,I know you love me” Lisa grinned and continue talking until they got to the king’s chamber
“See you later your majesty” Lisa bowed with a grin and King Lucian nodded before going in
They both turned again to see the court lady on his way into the chamber
“Good morning princess” she greeted
“Morning” Lisa answered
“Adelaide,are you feeling good now?” She asked
“Thank you court lady,I’m fine now” Adelaide smiled and the court lady went in
“Were you sick yesterday??” She asked
Adelaide nodded
“But I’m fine now” She muttered
“Oh,I’m sorry I didn’t know” Lisa pouted and hugged her
“It’s okay” Adelaide giggles
