“This is so stressing, gosh!” Sana sighed.
Being an Assistant Manager has added more to her work.
“Gosh! Big positons come with bigger work indeed” She sighed,continueing her work.
While still on that,her phone started ringing,and instantly,she knew who was calling,cos she set a different ringtone for that particular contact.
And that person is no other than Dalton!
“Aww” She gushed. She then paused her work,picked her phone,and swiped the green icon.
“How are you,Girlfriend?” Dalton asked straigt up,from the other end,and Sana chuckled.
Don’t be surprised. They’ve been talking,and seeing each other for a while now,but aren’t dating,though.
Dalton just loves being crazy all the time.
“Girlfriend?” Sana raised her brows funnily.
“Yea,Girlfriend. When are we telling them about us?” He asked,and she laughed.
“Tell them about us…humph! We aren’t dating,remember? So,what exactly are we telling them?” Sana asked,rolling eyes.
“And who said we aren’t dating?” Dalton asked back sharply.
“Sana said so. You haven’t even asked me out,and you say we are dating? Gosh!”She blurted before she could stop herself.
When Dalton heard that,he laughed shortly.
” You must be crazy,Sana” She said,slapping her forehead.
“Okay…okay. I have to do it the proper way,right?” He asked,somehow sounding funny.
“You’re crazy,swears” Sana laughed.
“You’ve known that since our Highschool days. So,why acting like you don’t know who Dalton the great is?” Dalton said,and Sana laughed her àss out.
“Okay,now I know you’re really crazy. I had been trying not to believe that. But now,it is tested and verified. Who made you Dalton the great,huh?” Sana joked,and they both laughed hard.
“Gosh! I won’t hide it,Dalton. It’s always fun talking to you” Sana truthfully confessed,and he chuckled.
Sana doesn’t really know why she said so,but the truth remains that Dalton is a funny and crazy guy.
In fact,the 3Ds are all crazy,Everyone knows that.
“So,how are you?” He asked again.
“I am good actually. I hope you are too?” Sana asked too.
“Definitely. Hope the work isn’t stressing today?” He enquired,and she sighed.
“It is,but I’m fine” She smiled,though he can’t see her.
“So sorry about that. Don’t worry,you’ll adjust soon,and get used to it” He said,trying to make her feel better.
“I hope so. Thanks for trying to cheer me up” She smiled again.
“Anything for my Girlfriend”He said,yet again,and Sana laughed,shaking her head.

“Dude! Where have you been? Been looking for you. At some point,I thought you went back home”Derek said,when he met Dexter about to enter the elevator.
“What’s up? Hope nothing’s wrong?”Dexter asked back.
“Nothing’s wrong,was just worried about your whereabout”He replied simply.
“I am okay,just coming back from the police department”He told Derek.
“Oh. How are those fools doing? I hope the cops aren’t playing with them?”Derek hissed.
Dexter chuckled,and shook his head. He doesn’t take anyone with him,when going there. Cos he knows what his friends will do,especially Derek.
He gets angry easily like Dexter himself.
“Trust me,man. They are doing a great job,even better than I expected” Dexter answered him.
“Bunch of criminals!” Derek growled. Dexter smiled,and tapped his shoulder gently.
“It’s fine,Buddy. They are already getting what they deserve” Dexter assured him.
“You two don’t forget our plan,please. Tomorrow morning,as early as anything” He said,and Derek smiled,nodding his head happily.
“You don’t know how happy I am about this” He punched Dexter’s shoulder playfully.
“I am the happiest,dude” Dexter replied,as they both smiled.

“So,V. Who is the guy who made you burn the food you were cooking yesterday?” Annika suddenly asked Verity.
She did not go to work because of her morning sickness. She’s always feeling dizzy,and she’s still puking a lot.
Dexter asked her to stay home,and rest instead.
She woke up not long ago,and she’s currently chit chatting with Verity.
“Jeez! How did you know it was a guy I was on a call with?” Verity asked shockingly.
“I am a lady. And I burnt my food many times because of your brother” Annika said, and Verity laughed.
“Alright,fine! He’s just a friend, actually” Verity replied.
“That you’re in love with” Annika completed it for her,and she laughed again.
“Jeez! You’re unbearable” Verity pouted.
Annika chuckled and poked her nose,making her to laugh.
“So,how old are you exactly?” Annika asked,with her eyes on her phone.
“I’m twenty” Verity replied simply, and Annika widened her eyes in shocks.
“Just twenty,and this big?” Annika creased her brows.
Verity just rolled eyes stylishly, and giggled.
“Why are younger sisters always looking older” Annika shrugged.
She suddenly recalled what she said,and felt sad instantly.
Yes,her sister used to look older than her. Sometimes, she’d be joking with Annika that she’s older.
She and her sister were so close that one would think they are twins.
Anyway, she shrugged it off immediately,as she didn’t want her sad moment ruining their good time.
“But,why is Dexter four years older than you? That’s quite a gap” Annika started again,wondering.
“I know, right? Well,mom said Dexter disturbed her so much that she decided not to have another baby,until he was a lot older,that’s why he’s way older than I am” Verity explained, and Annika just kept chuckling.
“I hope this baby inside me won’t take after him. I might just die” Annika said,and they both laughed heartily.
“So,when are you resuming work?” She asked, still operating on her phone.
“By next week” Verity simply replied. Annika smiled, dropped her phone and hugged her.
“I love you,dear. Go have fun,okay? Please, make sure you buy ice cream when coming back ” Annika said,hugging her again.
“Awww,I love you too. Sure,anything for my preggie” Verity replied, pecking her cheek,and she smiled.
Verity is actually going out to watch a movie with Brielle like she had promised her.
^^THE BRATTLE THEATRE>>DUSK
After visiting some many fun places, they finally decided to go watch the movie that actually made them go out.
Brielle has had so much fun,and even tired at the moment. She cannot remember having such fun,ever in her life.
Right now, they are in the movie theatre,with Brielle laughing her sorrows away.
“Okay,that was quite funny. I didn’t plan to laugh, but I just had to” Brielle said,funnily,and Verity bursted out laughing.
“You’re crazy” Verity laughed, scooping some popcorn,and pouring it on Brielle. Brielle did same to Verity,and suddenly. A popcorn fight ensued, even with the movie going on.
They were at the last seats,so,they weren’t disturbing anyone.
“Hey…you want to hear a joke?” Verity asked, raising her brows funnily,and Brielle rolled eyes.
“Your joke sucks, I don’t want to hear it anymore” Brielle intentionally said,a and Verity creased her brows.
“How did you know I was going to say that joke?” Verity asked.
“Because it has become your National,and International anthem” Brielle replied, and they both bursted out laughing.
“You’re coming for the grand opening of the Boutique I told you about,right?. I want to introduce you to my brother,and his girlfriend. You might just be among the first people she’d employ” Verity said,and Brielle answered with a big yes!
^^DEXTER’S MANSION>>NEXT MORNING
Annika can be seen peacefully, and beautifully still sleeping.
Dexter is out of the bed already. Gone to where God knows.
When Annika finally woke up. She yawned,and stretched her body,suddenly noticed Dexter wasn’t in bed.
“Boo Bear…?” She called, looking around,but still didn’t see him. Rather, she saw roses on the bed,then on the floor too,with candles burning dimly.
The whole room was decorated with flowers, mostly roses. A very sweet and powerful scent,hitting her nostrils as it filled the entire room.
“What’s happening?” She asked no one in particular. She slowly got down from the bed,and started taking slow steps,while looking around.
While doing so,her eyes caught something.

Was boldly written, and she gasped,covering her mouth with her hand.
She continued to walk till she got to the door,immediately she opened it,Dexter walked in,holding a guitar.
And immediately, he started singing,and playing the guitar.

I’ve come to love you more than I could ever imagine, and I don’t think I can live without you.
“You’ve become the air that I breathe, my source of happiness.
“Ann… I don’t want you to be called Miss,anymore, but Mrs.
I don’t want you to be called my girlfriend anymore, but my wife.
“I don’t want you to be called my baby mama,but the mother of our kids.
“I am tired of leaving alone,baby. I want to see you every morning I wake up,continue to tease,and make us run around.
“I want you to be mine forever. Please marry me,Heartbeat” He asked, bringing out a diamond ring.
“Yessss!!” Annika screamed without hesitation.
“She said yes. Gawd! She said yes!” Dexter screamed. He got up immediately and wore her the shinny diamond ring.
“Yess!! They both screamed at a time,as Dexter jacked her up like a baby.
Dalton, Derek, Sana…. In fact,all friends, including Roland walked in,smiling happily.
“Ann…” He called, and picked one of the rose,fixing it at the side of her hair. After that,he slammed his lips on hers,kissing and driving her to planet Mars.
