Brielle hopped out of the cab that just dropped her in front of JAY’S BOUTIGUE,and paid him his money. The cab man zoomed off immediately after that.
“I still don’t get why she wants to see me”She said,took a deep breath and started walking in.
She has actually come to see her boss like she asked her to,yesterday.
Throughout last night,and the whole of today,she’s been thinking about what Mrs Jay has to say.
“Good afternoon,ma”Brielle greeted,when she walked in and met her boss seated on the chair.
She noticed something the moment she entered.
None of her co-workers was in the store.
That’s weird!
“What’s going on,why is no one around?”Brielle asked herself,looking at every corner of the boutique.
“Good afternoon,Brielle. How are you?”Mrs Jay asked,forcing a smile.
“I am fine thank you,ma. What’s happening,why is the store this dry?”Brielle asked,still not getting it.
Mrs Jay sighed and asked her to sit,which she did without hesitating.
“That’s the reason I asked you to come.
Erm…you see,Brielle.
“This place you see here has been sold out,it no longer belong to me.
“W..what..?” Brielled stuttered.
“I’m sorry you’re getting to know this now,it just came too sudden. I am sorry,dear” Mrs Jay said,trying not to look at Brielle’s disappointed face.
How can the boutique be sold out,just how?
A job she finally succeeded in getting,it has to be sold out?
For crying out loud,she hasn’t even gotten her first salary yet!
Does she know how hard it was for her to find this job?
Why is life being unkind to her? Now,she has to start searching for a job again.
What is she supposed to do,as it is now?
Another oppoturnity for her mom to nag and insult the living hell out of her,for losing her barely one month job.
While Brielle was still in her thoughts,Mrs Jay reached for handbag,and got a hold of it. She unzipped it,and shoved her hand in,bringing out an envelop.
“Have this,Brielle. That’s your salary and money to appreciate you for your hardwork. I am sorry things had to happen this way”Mrs Jay said,handing Brielle the envelope with a huge sum of money inside.
“Ma,I..
“I understand you,dear. I’m sorry,okay? Anyway,I wish you luck in finding another job”Mrs Jay said,forcing the money Brielle is refusing to take, into her hand.
“Thank you,ma. I’ll really miss JAY’S BOUTIQUE AND STORES” Brielle said,and smiled. But behind that smile,there’s a sad and disappointed heart.

“Dude…!” Dalton and Derek barged in noisily,disrupting Dexter’s phone call.
“Let me call you back,cupcake. These two that have refused to have sense just barged into my Office like insane people” Dexter said.
He was actually on a call with Annika when those two came in.
“Let me guess,it’s those two crazy jerks,right?” Annika asked,chuckling.
“You guessed right,baby” Dexter replied and she laughed.
Dexter hung up before facing Dalton and Derek who were just standing and staring at him.
“Idiots! When will start knocking before entering my Office? You just stopped me from having a sweet talk with my cupcake” Dexter shot at them,immediately he ended the call.
“Who is your cupcake?” Dalton asked,and Derek slapped the back of his head hard.
“The f-__-k!” Dalton rasped,rubbing the back of his head.
“You should know now that Miss cray cray is his Cupcake” Derek said,and Dalton rolled eyes.
“Who will be my shortcake?” Dalton muttered,but Dexter and Derek heard him,so they bursted out laughing,even Dalton himself.
“Why are you two here?” Dexter glared.
“Dude….!” They exclaimed again.
“Haven’t you checked the Company’s website?” They both chorused.
“What happened to the website?” Dexter furrowed,now curious to know what’s up.
“Check your laptop,man. Just check it!” They said.
“Okay….” Dexter said,opening his laptop to wake it up,his eyes fixed on his friends like he does not want them to run away with his money.
“f-__-k! This…this awesome,d@mn!” Dexter screamed excitely.
“Now,check the Media page” Derek said,winking at him.
Dexter checked immediately,and widened his eyes.
“How come,why all these? Like,I don’t even know what to say” Dexter said,with happiness streaming down his heart.
People are talking so much about his Company.
They aren’t just talking,but some big Companies are recommending him to people,and as it stands,buyers are in line,making orders.
Some Companies even want to invest in his Company.
“We just hit a jackpot,buddies” Dexter grinned happily.
“No,dude. You just hit a jackpot,this is all because of your hardwork. We are so proud of you,man. Swears” Derek said,proudly.
“Come here,you two. You also contributed to this,everyone did” Dexter said. He went to them and hugged them both,manly.
“Drinks and Dinner at my place tonight” Dexter said,and….
“Yes! That’s what we are talking about” Dalton and Derek chorused,and Dexter laughed.
“Let your Cupcake know,so she can invite her friends too” Derek smiled.
“Definitely,my baby must hear this. She’ll be super excited” Dexter said,smiling.

Dexter jacked Annika up in a bridal style,the moment he walked in.
Annika was standing on her feet,arranging the files and books. She was doing that cos she done for the day and was ready to go home.
Annika started giggling at his action,as she stayed in his arms,staring at his face.
“What’s behind this happiness?” She asked. Dexter gave her a short kiss on the lips before telling her what’s up.
“Migosh! This is the best news ever. I’m so proud of you,Boo Bear” Annika said,rubbing his face tenderly,after which,she held his face and kissed him slowly and sweetly after he had put her down.
“I love you” Dexter said in her mouth.
“I love you,Boo Bear” Annika said too and smiled cutely as they pulled away.
“Tell your friends to come over,Drinks and Dinner at my Mansion” Dexter said.
“Aww,it’ll so be fun” Annika winked,and he chuckled.
“Yea,but it’ll be more fun if we end up doing something crazy in my room” Dexter smirked,and she sightly left her mouth open.
“You pervert! That is never going to happen” Annika slapped his chest,giggling.
“On a second thought,we could just do it here” Dexter joked.
“Help..! He wants to rape me!”Annika joked too,running out while Dexter chased after her,lauging so hard.

Loud laughs, chatting and clicking of glasses and forks could be loudly heard as Dexter and friends sat on the dinning table,having a good time.
“This….food,oh my gosh! Who made this?” Mina the foodie,asked, taking another spoonful of it into her mouth.
Verity prepared Smoky Black Bean and Poblano Tacos. Dexter’s favorite!
“Verity made it” Dexter answered.
“You’re teaching me how to make this. ..mmm….it tastes so good” Mina groaned in so much pleasure.
“Foodie International Limited” Annika and Sana jibed. They all bursted out laughing.
Yes! Sana and Mina already know about it, and they were so happy know Annika and Dexter actually were in love with each other, but were scared.
While everyone was focused on their food,Derek looked at Mina and winked.
Mina giggled lowly and continued with her food.
“Aaah” Dexter said to Annika, taking to food to Annika’s mouth. Annika smiled and opened up immediately.
Dexter leaned in and started kissing her right in front of everyone.
“Go to your room,please… Jeez!” Verity said, and they all laughed.
“I will survive this oppression…” Dalton said.
“Amen!!!” Everyone chorused, including the oppressors.

Derek and Mina were in the kitchen, kissing seriously, when Annika entered and caught them.
Mina came to get water from the kitchen for herself,and Derek followed her in when he saw her entering the kitchen.
Reasons why he wanted Annika to invite her friends too,he missed and badly wanted to see his baby.
Yes! They’ve secretly been dating for long now,without anyone knowing. But today, they’ve been caught by Annika.
