“I don’t know if the pain is increasing every second,gosh..! This hurts so bad” Victoria groaned painfully.
She just got back from the hospital where she went to get treament. She barely slept last night as a result of the hellish beating she received from Janice yesterday.
Her face and some parts of her body,espicially her mouth is so swollen,that one would think she was thoroughly dealt with by bees.
“Just look at what that useless woman did to my face. My beautiful and expensive face.
“She should be happy that people were holding me back,stopping me from beating the hell out of her stupid body.
“And so what,if Roland slept with her stupid son’s fiancee. Isn’t that what people do? So stupid and senseless” Victoria continued to blab.
She dropped the bag of drugs on the center table,then went to get water that she’d take the drugs with.
“My revenge will be worst than a war. Keep playing your part,Janice,while I sit and watch you” She said,washing the glass cup and putting back.
She left the kitchen and went back to the living room to relax herself. She didn’t quite sit well when her doorbell rang.
She hissed,frustratedly before going for the door.
“Who is that person that wants to annoy me this morning?” She asked no one in particular.
Opening the door,came Roland’s face who furrowed,immediatelyhe saw his mom’s face.
“Mom! Yo…your face is so swollen” Roland said,trying to touch his mom,but she slapped his hands off her.
“You dare not touch me. How did I even end up being your mother,huh!
“There’s nothing,absolutely nothing you are able to do.
“You were just some steps away from getting your father’s Company,but that rope between your legs,you call a Ďïčk won’t just let you have sense.
“How can you use your own hands to ruin things for yourself all the time” Victoria shouted angrily.
“I’m sorry,mom. I made a mistake and I am not proud of it.
“I’ll fix this and make sure I get that Company,and not him” Roland said,dreamingly and Victoria eyed him.
If eyes could ki||,I bet Roland would be dead by now.
“Of course you can fix this,you always fix things by ruining them more.
“Where is that Lira girl you sent on a mission? I can swear you barely even hear from her,and you want to fix this. How stupid!
“Look at my face and body,completely disfigured,and this is all because of your foolishness….
“Enough already,mom! Just stop scolding and insulting me” Roland shot immediately,cutting his mom off.
“Dexter who succeeds in every darn thing he does,do you think he gets shouted at or insulted whenever he makes a mistake?
“His mom and sister are always there for him,supporting him in every way. All you do every time is shout,and rain insult on me whenever I make a mistake.
“If you think it’s as easy as you say it,go do it and let me see.
d@mn it mom! Give me a break and let me breathe” Roland let it out angrily.
He’s been holding this for long now,but just couldn’t hold it any longer.
Victoria stared at him for a while,not knowing what to say.
She picked one and took a bite from it,picking another one and giving it to Dexter,without giving Verity.
“What about me,mom?” Verity pouted,and Dexter stuck his tongue at her.
Verity took a pillow and aimed for his head,but Dexter was quick to dodge.
“Do you want to ki|| my baby for me?” Janice glared playfully.
“Really,mom? So,I’m an expired product now,I’m no longer your baby,huh?” She squeezed her face funnily.
“Expired product” Dexter repeated what she said,and they all bursted out laughing.
“When are you coming home,I miss your disturbances” Janice asked Verity.
“Awww. But I’ll come only when I’m done frustrating your son’s life” Verity replied.
“Mom,please drag her along with you,when going back home. When I’m ready to die,I’ll call her back” Dexter said,rolling eyes at Verity who was smirking.
“Have you been frustrating your brother?” Janice raised a brow.
“See you,mom. I need to use the restroom now!” Verity said,and ran away. Dexter and Janice laughed loud,both looking at her direction.

A flashy and an extremely expensive car entered the Company’s building.
Ian halted immediately,and parked at Dexter’s private space where he parks his own car.
He came out and opened the door for Dexter first. After Dexter got out,he(Dexter) went to the other side and opened the door for Annika.
Yea,he picked her up from her house, so they could come to work together.
“Thank you,Boo Bear” Annika smiled cutely.
Dexter smiled too, and kissed her hair, inhaling her sweet smelling shampoo.
“Let’s go” Dexter said, taking her hand.
“Never knew this same girl i bumped into the other day,is my boss’s girlfriend. Can’t believe I’ve been working for him,yet had no idea.” Ian said,getting back into the car.

“What are you all talking about?” Came Lira’s voice who was clueless.

The moment Lira saw them entering the elevator together, looking at lovey dovey.
She started fuming in anger.
“Interesting….I get it now” She smirked.

The elevator took them to the floor with Offices.
It dinged instantly.
When it opened, Dalton and Derek were standing right in front of it. Like,they were waiting for those two to arrive.
Dexter and Annika weren’t just holding hands,they were kissing madly.
“Sweet…mother… Of Dexter!! Dalton exclaimed, with his mouth wide opened. Derek wasn’t left behind.
Dexter gave them a middle finger, meaning…
