Everyone seen at work today,has a broad smile on their faces.
They all received their salaries last night. They weren’t only paid their salaries,but got extra paid.
That’s what Dexter does whenever he pays their salaries.
More like a compensation for their hardwork,and he doesn’t exceed the day of their payments.
It’s what Spencer was talking about some weeks ago. That,Dexter may be a rude,mean and arrogant boss,but they all still love him for one thing.
?Gosh! Isn’t our boss just the best?
?Yes,he is.
?Can’t believe how nice he is,despite his arrogance and all.
Most of the workers talked within themselves.
Everyone is just so excited and happy with their boss.
^^DEXTER’S OFFICE^^
“Don’t I deserve a vacation? Jeez!”Dexter said,and sighed.
After he was done with what he was doing,he closed his laptop for a moment.
He then rested his head on the swivel,shut his eyes and began turning the chair.
“Nothing makes me happy like when I pay the people I owe” He said,and smiled. But with his eyes still shut.
While he was still meditating or wh@ťěver he was doing,he heard a knock,or rather,knocks on the door.
“Please,it shouldn’t be those two jerks. I don’t want their teases right now. Those two that will never have sense.
“Wait,those two Ďïčkheads always barge in here like they own the Office,they never knock. So,who could be knocking?
“Come in” He finally said.
Quietly,respectfully and like gentlemen,the two jerks walked in. The same two crazy people he prayed it shouldn’t be.
But something was totally different about them.
First,they knocked before entering.
Second,they didn’t throw anything at him,like monkeys throwing fruits at people.
Third,they aren’t making any noise.
Surprising,right? Yeah! Well….
“Have you finally sold me and are here to do the finishing? Why are you two acting weird?” Dexter rolled eyes.
“We’ve come for your soul…” Dalton said,and Derek did an ominous sound.
“Cut it out,jerks!” Dexter snapped,but they didn’t stop. Rather,they started moving closer,grinning and smirking evilly.
“We’ve come for your soul” They said again,and did the same thing,but more scary this time.
Moving even closer to him,and….
“Ahhh….securities!!” Dexter screamed loudly. Dalton and Derek bursted into a loud laugh.
“So,Mr arrogance can be this scared?” Derek laughed even harder.
“They are the most scared people on earth” Dalton replied, laughing hard too.
“You should have seen his face and mouth when he was screaming”ahhh” he looked like a bleating goat” Dalton said again,and Derek bursted out laughing… Like he should just laugh his intestines out.
Even Dexter himself couldn’t hold back the laugh.
“Did I offend you two in any way?” Dexter stopped laughing and asked.
“Is that a question?” Derek satirically asked Dalton,like one who has lost it. Dexter rolled eyes.
“Wh@ťěver you do in this life,never employ your friends to work with you. Especially if they are crazy and stupid!” Dexter said,and that made them laugh again.
“Thanks,man” They finally said, after laughing their a*ses out.
Dexter smiled, but rolled eyes.
“You look dull,dude. Anything matter?” Derek asked,concerned.
“I am fine…I’m just tired, that’s all” He replied.
“Take a break,you won’t listen. So,stop talking about being tired”Dalton said.
“Should we just tie him up,and lock him in his room?” Dalton turned to Derek and asked.
“Not a bad idea” Derek replied, and they chuckled.
“Leave my Office, Dalton and Derek” Dexter said,commandingly.
“Yes,boss” They both chorused,and surprisingly left.
“Did they just…obey at once and left?!” Dexter exclaimed.
“I really need to see my doctor, I think I’m going crazy for real” Dexter said.
Not long after that,a knock came again.
“Just when I thought they were starting to have sense” He mumbled, and asked the person to come in.
But instead of his friends, it was Annika that entered.
He heaved a sigh of relief the moment he saw her.
“Good morning,sir…” Annika greeted,and he greeted her back, warmly.
“Umm,I think you made a mistake yesterday with my salary….
She actually came to tell him that he made a mistake… So she thought, thought.
But she wasn’t done talking when another knock came.
“Have they started celebrating knocking on doors festival that I have no idea of?” He asked, and Annika giggled, but got serious immediately.
“Come in….” He dragged the words. The person then entered, and….
“Verity!!?” Dexter and Annika said at a time.
“Annika…?” Verity shockingly called too.
“Wait wait…wait. You two know each other already,and even work in the same place?” She asked,her mouth still wide opened.
“That equally means,you’re dating each other…yayyy!” Verity screamed excitedly.
“What!!!?” Dexter and Annika said at a time again.
