Rosetta couldn’t stop whimpering as she held Romeo tighter to herself. She was clinging on him so badly as she seeked protection from his muscular body.
“It’s okay, just relax” Romeo whispered as he kept fondling her hair gently. Slowly, Rosetta’s body relaxed against him as she snuggled more closer to him, wrapping her arms around his waist. She was scared, her nightmares wouldn’t stop haunting her and what she needed at that moment was for someone to comfort her.
Romeo was still soothing her gently when he started hearing her heavy breath. He pulled her head back a bit to find her already asleep. Smiling a bit, he pulled her back to him and held her fragile body to himself, rocking her like a toddler.
“Do you have a phobia for rain?” He found himself asking gently. His voice echoed around the room and he couldn’t stop wondering what might have happened to her in the past that caused this.

Marcus shut down his laptop and at that moment his phone rang. A smile left his lips when he saw the caller ID and he immediately picked the call
“Babe,” he grinned.
“f-__-k! I knew it!” He suddenly got to his feet and rushed out of his room, laughing loud. It was raining heavily and his girlfriend just had to call that she’s around. What great timing!
Marcus opened his door to find his girlfriend already drenched from the rain, he immediately led her into the house and locked the door. Then, he faced her with a worried look on his face.
“Your clothes are so d@mn wet! How could you risk entering the rain just to see me?” He scolded. The lady smiled before hugging him, wetting his shirt with her clothes.
“I was cold,” she whispered and Marcus’s eyes twinkled. Oh, heaven!
“And… I missed you,” she pouts. Marcus heaped her into his arms, palming her a*s possessively and he leaned closer to place a short kiss on her lips..
“You can never imagine how much I missed you too, I’m sorry for avoiding you,” he apologized. She shook her head before placing her head on the shoulder.
“I should be the one apologizing, I’m sorry” she mumbled. Marcus started walking to his room, her wet clothes giving him free access to her body as he wouldn’t stop caressing it. They got to the room and he walked to the closet, getting her a shirt she could put on.
“You must be cold,” he muttered. Valeria shook her head and right in his presence, she pulled her top over her head and her B-__-bs got revealed to Marcus’s hungry eyes.
“Make me feel warm instead, baby” she smiled provocatively. Marcus instantly threw the shirt to the floor and in a flash, he was already in front of her, sucking deeply from her Ɲīpplës.
“Baby,” Valerie Mõ@ɲed as they both started walking towards the bed with her hands fondling his hair slightly.
“Let’s not stay away anymore please,” Marcus groaned against her chest and she nodded, biting her lips
“Oh… I love you!!”

Freudian was on the bed shirtless with his wife beside him, she was sound asleep. He was restless, ever since the day he found out Romeo has a wife, he hasn’t been at peace. Romeo was a thr_@t to him, to his properties. He suddenly sat up and roughed his hair.
But then, a thought crossed his mind and he immediately let out a smirk.
“Do you think you can fool me?” He smirked. If Romeo had a wife truly, he’d have revealed it to the whole world, but for him to be quiet this way, then it was all a lie. He never had a wife!
He began laughing triumphantly. He just couldn’t wait to go back to Sicily, to show Romeo that he’ll always have the upper hand as long as he’s the legitimate son of his father.
“Bastard!” He cursed with his eyes glinting h@ťěfully.

Rosetta’s lips twitched to a smile as she felt her body pressing into something hard. For the first time in years, this was the first time she’d be having a sound sleep after her nightmare.
“So comfortable,” she Mõ@ɲed with her eyes closed, snuggling closer to the hard figure.
Meanwhile, a pair of green eyes was watching her every move with an amused smile on his lips. Her body was pressed against his tightly that he could almost feel her B-__-bs.
“Continuerai a fare quel suono, tesoro? {Are you going to keep making that sound, darling?}” He asked in his usual deep voice.
All at once, Rosetta’s eyes flew opened and she gasped when she saw herself in his arms, she was literally on top of him
“Aaaaaaahhh!!!!” She screamed loudly and instantly moved away from him, shifting to the far end of the bed. Her eyes were still wide open in shock. Her hands started moving around her body, checking if everything was intact.
“What… How did we end up in that position? Nothing happened, right? We did not do it, right?” Rosetta stuttered, hoping nothing happened between them
“And you’re gonna have your nightie on?” Romeo simply muttered and she blinked her eyes. Right! Her eyes went down to her dressing and she breathed out in relief, her body slumping down to the bed.
“Thank God, I thought I lost it” she mumbled but Romeo heard her even though he couldn’t fathom what she was saying.
“Are you okay now?” He suddenly asked and her attention went back to him. Remembering the position she found the both of them when she woke up, her cheeks reddened instantly. She was the girl whose body wouldn’t stop getting red at any slight chance.
“You were having a nightmare,” Hearing that from him, she snapped out of her thoughts to stare at him. Right, her nightmare!
The memories from the previous night started flashing through her mind and she bit her lips when she remembered how she threw herself to his arms
“I’m sorry if I made you uncomfortable,” she mumbled
“How long has that been going on? Do you have any trauma from your childhood?” Romeo asked and she shook her head
“I don’t know. The memories aren’t clear to me, I’ve been suffering from this trauma for four years now,” she muttered
“It’s fine, I’m already used to it. I’m always like this when it’s raining, especially when the thunder strikes. But after that, I’m good,” she smiled and Romeo continued watching her.
Even though he was curious as hell, he decided to keep quiet. He got to his feet and glanced at her.
“I’ll be in the bathroom,” he said before leaving.
After he was gone, Rosetta held her body once again, not believing the fact that she slept in his arms. But she wouldn’t deny that it felt good.
“Was that the reason why I slept soundly?” She wondered.

Helena was in the kitchen preparing breakfast when Adele was in the living room, going through her phone. Suddenly a news popped up on her phone and her eyes widened in shock.
“Helena! Come and see this!!!” She screamed, staring at her phone with wide eyes.
Helena rushed out, holding a big spoon in her hand. She frowned at the way Adele kept screaming her name.
“Why do you have to scream like a mad woman?” She scoffed
“Here, have a look at this,” Adele quickly showed her the phone and the spoon fell from Helena’s hand in shock
“What??!” Here, there was a photo of Romeo and Rosetta, holding each other’s hands. It was really cute and they looked so very compatible.

“No, this can’t be true! It’s not happening!” Helena’s hand trembled and Adele’s phone fell from her hand in the process, smashing into pieces
“Che cazzo!” Adele frowned and quickly picked her phone. She glared up at Helena.
“Do you have to smash my phone that way!” She half yelled
“Adele, this ain’t happening, right? Romeo is not getting married, right? Tell me this is not true” Helena shook her head, finding it hard to believe the news.
“You perfectly know the answer,” Adele muttered.
“Noo!!! No! No, no, no!!!” Helena screamed.
“Romeo can’t get married to another woman! He’s meant for me! I’m his girlfriend!!! No!” She screamed, breaking down into tears immediately.
“This is really complicated,” Adele sighed. She stared at her broken phone and she palmed her face with a groan.

The news of Romeo getting married to Rosetta was all over Italy. It was shown everywhere, on the TV, on billboards. Everywhere! The news didn’t failed to reach Rosetta’s house
Now, Mr. Stone and his wife were staring at the TV, still not believing their eyes. That person is the picture ain’t Rosetta, they’re so sure of that.
“That’s not her, it can never be her. How can that wretched girl end up in that house? It must be someone else,” Mrs. Stone assured herself.
“Right? It can’t be Rosetta, she can’t” Mr. Stone muttered also

“Our wedding is in two days’ time,” Romeo announced as he fixed his tie. Rosetta raised her head from her phone to stare at him. Two days? They’ll be getting married in two days time?
“Okay,” was the only word she could form at that moment. She couldn’t believe she’d be becoming a wife to her hot boss. The CEO of a lot of companies.
The ringing of Romeo’s phone echoed around the room and Romeo had to stop fixing his tie just to pick the call.
“I’ve seen it, thanks buddy” he smiled. He was talking to Marcus over the phone.
“Valeria? Great, she can help in tutoring my wife,” he said and Rosetta glanced at him.
“Alright, thanks” the call ended.
“Your tutor will be coming over today, but before then. We need to get somewhere,” he said.
“Where?” Rosetta placed the phone on the bed and began walking towards him.
“The hotel” Romeo replied and she froze on the spot. The hotel? Where she once worked as a cleaner before?
“Stai bene? {Are you okay?}” Romeo’s voice snapped her out of her thoughts.
“Er? Yea,” she bit her lips. Romeo nodded and turned to leave.
“Romeo!” She called his name, stopping him. Romeo turned to her and she moved closer to him.
“Your tie,” she bit her lips and slowly raised her hand, helping him to fix his tie. They were in a very compromising position as their faces were just a few inches apart. Rosetta avoided his eyes throughout till she was done fixing his tie, then she moved away.
“Thanks,” Romeo said and left the room. Rosetta quickly picked her phone and handbag and rushed after him, she was putting on flat shoes. Romeo was the one who suggested the idea, then she’d put on the heels when they got to their destination.

The hotel was in chaos as the news of Rosetta and Romeo’s marriage couldn’t leave anyone’s lips. It was a shock to them all.
In a corner, Anna stood watching the picture of Rosetta and Romeo with trembling hands.
“Rosetta is the Boss’s wife?” She stuttered. That moment, she started hearing greetings. She pocketed her phone and rushed to the reception just in time to see Romeo arriving with Rosetta. Wait, their hands were interlocked. Does that mean the news was true? Anna’s eyes widened.

Even though they were all greeting Romeo, some staffs couldn’t stop boring holes into Rosetta’s body. Some were even glaring hard at their hands which were intertwined together.
Romeo kept walking with a straight face with a nervous Rosetta beside him.
They got to his private suite and Romeo led her to the bed where Rosetta sat down, breathing heavily.
“What’s wrong?” Romeo asked
“I feel uneasy. I’ve worked here before as a cleaner and… It just doesn’t feel right” Rosetta mumbled, rubbing her chest which was beating hard.
“That was in the past. This… Is the present and future,” Romeo said, his words shocking Rosetta.
“Stay right here, I’ll be back” he turned to leave but suddenly stopped.
“You can take a stroll too, you’re free” he added before leaving the room finally.
Rosetta got to her feet and stared around the room. This room was the first place where she saw Romeo, her husband. She smiled when she remembered how he gave her a meal when she was almost dying. Thinking of the past made her realize how Romeo had made a great impact in her life.

“Anna, can you serve room 236 their meal? They just ordered it right now,” a waitress in the hotel said to Anna but there was no response. It was as if Anna had suddenly gone deaf.
“Anna? Anna!!” She yelled and Anna’s body shook, she glanced at the waitress.
“Huh?” She blinked her eyes. The waitress shook her head before walking away, mumbling some inaudible words.
Anna sighed before getting to her feet. She just couldn’t get Romeo and Rosetta out of her head, they were stuck in her mind. She started walking away when she sighted Rosetta also coming her way. Seeing the way Rosetta was dressed richly, she grew mad and she marched towards her immediately.
“You filthy cleaner!!” She screamed and grabbed Rosetta’s hair, the phone in Rosetta’s hand fell on the tiled floor and the glass cracked.
“How dare you! You seduced the Boss, right? I knew you were nothing but a slut! You just want to get the Boss riches!!” She kept screaming, pulling Rosetta’s hair very hard.she was just too angry to care.
“Even if you dressed like a princess, you’ll be nothing but a cleaner, get that into your f-__-king brain!” She shouted with Rosetta trying hard to free herself. By now, people already gathered to watch what was going on, even the guests too.

Hearing the words from them, tears brimmed Rosetta’s eyes and she stopped struggling with Anna, letting her to do her will. They were right, she was a cleaner, nothing would ever change that.
“Cosa sta succedendo qui? {What’s going on here?}” They heard a voice and Anna instantly freed Rosetta.
A gasp filled the place when Romeo appeared with a menacing glare on his face.
“Sir… Sir Romeo” Anna stuttered in fear. Two guards immediately rushed to her and held her, forcing her on her knees.
Romeo walked to Rosetta whose hair was already disheveled, her face was buried to the ground in embarrassment.
“How dare you try to hurt my wife?!” He thundered at Anna who was already shivering. f-__-k her anger.
Romeo’s gaze went to Rosetta’s phone which screen was already cracked and he found himself boiling with anger
“Anybody that dares touch my wife will have to face my wrath!” He growled slowly, his eyes turning into a dangerous glare. He pulled Rosetta to himself
“How do you want her punishment to be?” He asked gently.
Rosetta stared at him before looking at Anna who was already pleading with her eyes. She stared back at Romeo.
“Fire her,” she said. Romeo nodded before facing one of his guards.
“Fire her!” He commanded sternly. Anna gasped and quickly held her hands together, breaking down in tears.
“Mrs. Castillo, I’m sorry. I won’t do that again, I’m sorry!!!” She screamed.
Romeo ignored her pleads and right in everybody’s presence, he swept Rosetta off her feet with her hands going around his neck instinctively. He started walking out of there with Rosetta in his arms, ignoring Anna’s cries.
