“Your right as the major shareholder can’t be taken since it’s your father who started the company but your position as the chairman of the company is being thr_@tened” Grandma Soledad said as she and Oliver sat in his office after Monica had left for school.
“How about talking to the other shareholders, am sure that if I talk to them, they will support me and…..”
“That wont work Amor( my love). I tried doing the same but they were all saying you have a bad reputation, they say you aren’t serious with the company and that you like sleeping around even though you have a fiancee. Am sure your cousin spread those rumours about you so he can keep the president seat for long but you will prove them all wrong right?” His grand mother asked.
“How will I do that? Since they already believe that crap about me, it’s best that they keep believing it rather than me dissuading them” Oliver replied.
“And lose the company to that stupid cousin of yours? Though he is my other son child, he’s just too dense for my liking ”
“The company hardly sold a thing while your cousin was around and the sale of the last few months dwindled but still he wants to stay as chairman and the stupid share holders he bribe are backing him up”
“What about the ones who aren’t backing him?” Oliver asked.
“They have this crazy idea that your cousin will make a better boss than you cause of your life style and that’s where you’ve got to prove them wrong, you need to show them that you can manage your life style as well as the company ” His grandma said looking sad.
“Amor, do this for me. I don’t want to see the company your grandfather built from scratch get destroyed by one of my grandsons,so please Oliver do some thing and do it fast” grandma Soledad added pleading with Oliver.
He knew how much this means to Soledad, she had been there when his grandfather started the family business and though he has his own business and can leave the family business anytime his wants, he just can’t do it and that’s solely because of his grandma.
“Fine then. I will do some thing just as you’ve said” Oliver said while the old wrinkled woman gave him her most charming smile.

~ PRESENT MOMENT ~ HOTEL
“Why are you doing this to me? Why are you asking for marriage when I know it’s the last thing you want” Daisy yelled at him.
“You don’t have to know my reasons, the only thing you have to know is that I need you to be my wife well for a certain period of time, it won’t be forever like you think ” Oliver said.
“Whether it is forever or a short period of time, am not going to marry you” she declared fiercely.
“Then you give me no choice, the people around you will have to suffer” he said.
“What do you mean?” She asked.
“I believe Oprah, your friend is working in Freddy hotel right, she might lose her job over night ” he said suddenly.
“You can’t thr_@ten me with Oprah” Daisy said fiercely.
“Well I only won’t thr_@ten you with Oprah, I will also thr_@ten you Monica. You love her right and you won’t want to see her go down the drain?” Oliver said.
“You really won’t do anything to your sister right?”
“Don’t you know how ruthless I am, I don’t care who I use just as long as I get what I want” he said moving towards her.
“What do you intend to do to Monica?” Daisy asked.
“Have her become a nun, you wouldn’t want that right? Have often heard you two talking about Prince charming and all in the past and I certainly know that to have Monica become a nun will be worst thing I could ever do to her and I know you wouldn’t watch my sister being condemned to be a nun for the rest of her life” he said.
“You are really cruel!”
“I am, so speak up! Do I have to call the nun and have Monica at their convent today and also do I have to work my connection to get Oprah fired from her job or would you just do as I say and we forget we ever had this discussion ” he asked.
Thinking about Oprah who has been nothing but a loyal and helpful friend to her and also thinking about Monica whose wish is to get married some day and have three or four babies got her thinking again.
If she decides not to marry him then he will push through with his words, she knew him to be some one who work on every thing he says and he won’t back down until she says yes to him.
“Tick tock! Your time is running out, we’ve got to be ready before the judge comes to marry us” he said.
“Can’t you reconsider, what would you gain by marrying me?” She asked.
“I gain a wife and I get to have my revenge, doesn’t that work out well?” He asked smiling at her.
Clutching her dress tightly, she look up at him.
“If I marry you then you should promise that there won’t be any thing between us apart from the papers we sign” she said slowly and that got him laughing.
“My dearest Daisy, what makes you think I will do that? Am a male whose needs matter and besides you are attractive and am sure under that horrid dress of yours hides a segzy, lush body which am going to familiarize myself with. So have no doubt that once we get married, you and I will be husband and wife in the truest sense of all” he said having a evil smirk on his face.
