🔞🌹 CHAPTER THIRTY NINE🌹🌚
Most of the people in the office thought it was the boss sister and didn’t even think about Sophia being the wife of the billionaire except the man who took the picture.
Sophia looked at her phone after thirty minutes seeing the time was up. She got up popping two blue pills which tasted like blue berries into her mouth before going out of the office without even saying a goodbye to the shareholders who bowed at her.
She wasn’t in the mood to satisfy them. Her hand rubbed her stomach as she walked back to the car with the driver who had been sitting for over an hour not minding.
The day seemed to go back fast and Sophia’s mood improved again after the massage, she was now in the house looking out the window while waiting for her husband’s arrival.
She bounced around the room picking out two sets of clothes as she didn’t know the gender of the child yet and neither did Alaric.
She looked like an excited baby mama. Soon she heard what she has been waiting for and looked out the window to see her husband’s car rolling in and she grinned shaking her head left and right letting her red hair which she packed in a bun shake with her.
She wore a segzy lacy pant and a bra which was bigger than her usual size which she wore when she wasn’t pregnant. Looking at herself in the mirror all her excitement vanished and her lips shivered like she was about to burst into tears.
She walked down the stairs with tears in her eyes and her body wrapped in a silk robe as Alaric entered to see his crying wife and his whole body excluded a chill which made all the maids who lined up to greet him bend their heads further.
“Who hurt you” Alaric asked placing down his suitcase and reaching for his wife.
“My body, I look like an overfed duck” Sophia complained crying as she fell into the embrace of her husband.
Alaric who heard her words kissed the side of her head.
“You look absolutely perfect”
“Which means you didn’t like how I looked previously” she started wailing again and Alaric looked helpless.
“Of course I did,but right now you have our child in your stomach so it’s understandable that you look more beautiful than ever”
Alaric hugged his little vixen who had red swollen eyes and the tip of her nose was also red with flushed cheeks, from behind so it would be easier and not inconvenience her protruding belly.
“What if after giving birth I don’t look the same again instead I’d look fat with no baby in my tummy.
“You’d go back to your normal size in a month love”
“Why are you so sure” Sophia raised her red face to look at Alaric.
The maids who were in the living room felt like they were being forcefed with dog food.
“I’d make you workout”
“Why would you want me to get so tired after delivering, I obviously can’t do that till six months after my delivery”
“You can and you would, because you would have a very easy and stress-free delivery due to the blue pills I gave you to always take”
“The ones who taste like blue berries?”
“Yes”
“Ah then every woman would have an easy delivery because of this genius pills”
“Nope, the drugs are only made for my woman and they cost over thirty billion dollars for just a little bottle”
“But you bought me a whole pack”
“I know, let me spend the money I earn on you, after all if it isn’t you who else would I spend it on”
Sophia burst into tears again and Alaric moved to wipe her tears quickly wondering if it had something to do with what he said.
“What’s wrong baby mama” he asked in a husky voice kissing her smooth milky skin.
“I feel like eating an overstuffed duck”l she said and the maids had to stop themselves from laughing.
Sophia looked at her husband with those innocent eyes and Alaric ordered the maids to make her a very healthy duck.
“When is your due date?” Alaric suddenly asked his wife who shrugged about to waddle up the stairs again when she felt a liquid suddenly pour to the ground.
Her eyes moved to her husband and Alaric’s eyes moved to hers as she opened her mouth to give an uncomfortable smile.
“Ah my water just broke”
Alaric carried her hurriedly alerting the maids to get her bag and quickly taking her into a room already prepared for her with a present doctor. The doctor seeing them rushing in a week before Mrs Sophia Quinn’s due date was quick to set to work.
After ten minutes the cry of a baby was heard….wait a? The cry of two babies were heard. Yes twins.
