🔞🥀♥️ CHAPTER TWENTY EIGHT♥️🥀🔞

Alaric also seeing the state of the old man was suprised and a bodyguard rushed to check his pulse.

Sophia rushed towards the man she thought she h@ťěd, her hand holding his cold frail hand. The bodyguard shook his head at her stating the man was already dead. Other guards rushed to search round the house to make sure the ki||er wasn’t in the house still.

“Tell me it’s not true, tell me it’s all a lie. Tell me I’m still in the care and having a nightmare” Sophia yelled with rage, her eyes red.

She couldn’t help but scream in argony as she fell to her knees her body swayed. Alaric rushed to hold her but she didn’t even seem to notice the presence of her husband.

Her hands shook with fear of what she would become, fear of how she had lost everyone around her, now the only person left with her is the man she got married to…her last life support.

“Hey, it’s alright okay, I’ll be a good girl. I won’t run away from the house again and I’ll let you comb my hair like you used to, I’ll do as you wish. I’ll be better grandfather please I beg of you to get up please” sobs broke through her every bearing.

Sophia felt like the world held a rope to her neck trying to strangle her to death.

Seeing the same tattoo on the side of his neck almost fully covered with blood Sophia cried harder. Her frame shook on the floor as her head hurt while the tears kept pouring.

What did she do to them to deserve this. Why do they have to eliminate every of her family member, was it as a form of revenge?

Sophia could hold it in as she kept crying, every sob of hers broke through Alarics heart.

“Please don’t leave me, stay with me please. Don’t leave me too. I’ll be a good girl”

Alaric circle his arm around her, her body temperature had dropped so bad. She looked lost as she kept crying, her screams echoing through the house.

Alaric knew her mental health at the moment would be terrible for the baby but he couldn’t help her at the moment, he knew If she didn’t release her emotions it would be worse.

“Is it because I’m bad they don’t like me? My birth was a curse right. Else why would they die” Sophia turned around to hit Alarics chest as he just let her do as she wished.

Her nose was red and so was her eyes yet she didn’t stop.

Alaric carried her out as her outburst turned to gentle sobs and soon she went silent. Alaric who saw she had fallen asleep sighed pulling off his coat to give her more warmth.

He brought out his phone to make a call.

“Investigate the death of senior Master Donovan”

“I already found evidence that it’s the same set of people we have been searching for the past seven years sir”

“The same organization…find out their relatiin with the Donovan family and check the security footage, you never know…there just might be a slip up this time.

“Yes sir” replied Lucas before Alaric ended the call. He sighed rubbing his forehead before kissing the forehead of his little vixen.

He left her to lay down on the bed when he got home leaving her to rest.

After eight hours a call came in from Lucas.

“Still no evidence found sir” Alaric smashed the phone against the wall as he ran his hand through his hair. It’s been seven years of chasing the same set of people, yet it always leads to a dead end.

Going to look at the girl who was still asleep, he frowned looking at the time, she hand moved from the position he kept her. Ignoring it, he moved to freshen up and laid down on the bed pulling her into his embrace.

Her sweet orange smell calmed his racing heart and his eyes fluttered close as he finally fell asleep.

The next morning his biological clock woke him up exactly five o’clock where he left the still sleeping girl to do his morning exercise. Seeing she was still asleep when he came back from his jog he took his bath and asked the kitchen to prepare a meal for her before she wakes up.

He saw the maid bringing someone in and looked over to see it was Veronica. His expression darkened as he watched her gasp while touching everything.

Alaric signalled for the maid to clean everything Veronica laid her hand upon and the maid bowed in understanding preventing Veronica from touching any other thing while Alaric kept eating like he didn’t notice her in the room.

“Hello Mr Quinn we meet again” Veronica grinned as she looked at the man who didn’t pay her any attention.

Walking up to him to place a hand on his shoulder he suddenly stood up and walked away.

He knew he couldn’t chase her while Sophia was like this, maybe she could lift up his little vixens mood afterall. He would do anything to see her smile again.

Veronica was dissappointed at his cold attitude but she felt excited she would be staying in the same house as the great Alaric Quinn and ignored the fact that he didn’t say a word to her.

Alaric entered his wife’s room and caressed her cheek. Seeing she still wasn’t awake, he couldn’t help but call his personal doctor who rushed over thinking Alaric was injured in a gunfight.

When he got there he found out he was taking care of the beautiful Mrs Quinn and he gulped looking at the sleeping beauty but did his work without being stupid enough to check her out in front of her husband.

“Ah, she’s seems to be in a coma, I’d have to take her to the hospital for further check up. Her life could be in serious danger, why would you leave her to sleep after something like that happened, Knowing she is pregnant you are meant to rush her to the hospital for a check up” Ronald complained looking at Alaric who explained the death of Sophia’s grandfather to him.

Alaric started to feel guilty but he glared at Ronald.

“Do your f-__-king job, if I lose her I swear on everything holy I’d burn the country down with her”
