Feeling his lips on hers was what Hailey has always wanted to experience again. The way his soft lips moved against hers gently was something she could never get tired of.
Charles placed his hand on her cheeks, devouring her lips hungrily. Everything about her drives him crazy, he just didn’t know when and how he fell in love with her. He just found himself swimming in the ocean of love.
His tongue slips into her mouth, tasting and licking every corner of her juicy lips. She tasted so much sweeter than all the dishes he had ever tasted.
Hailey breathes into his mouth softly as pleasure $h00ts through her veins. Her hands grip his hair, pulling him closer to her.
Charles’ tongue searched for hers in her mouth and her tongue answered his quest. Their tongues battled against each other as they meshed against each other.
Charles parted his lips from her and placed his wet tongue just by her cheeks, licking it sensually.
Hailey took a sharp intake of breath as he licked her earlobe.
“Umm” she Mõ@ɲed softly.
His tongue trailed to her neck, his teeth grazing the skin.
“Charles,,,” another Mõ@ɲ came from her.
Charles smiled against her skin, he lifted his head and recaptured her lips in his mouth.
This time, the kiss was very hard and deep. They kissed each other hotly as a new fire ignited in their body.
Slowly, they broke the kiss and pulled their head back to give themselves some space. They held each other close and Charles smiled as he continued staring at her.
“It drives me crazy when you look at me that way” he whispered.
“So, is that a yes?” He asked softly.
Hailey bit her lips as she couldn’t utter a word. Truth be told, she didn’t know what she’s feeling at that moment.
What if he was toying with her feelings?
“It’s fine. I’ll wait for you, and I’m going to keep trying harder just like you said. I won’t give up on you, Hailey” he said.
She nodded slowly.
“I love you” he whispered.
Hailey’s cheeks turned red. She wasn’t used to this yet. It still felt like a dream to her
“I’ll keep saying this to you everyday, I’m never going to get tired of saying it” he muttered.
Hailey tried to get out of his hold but he held her back, more tightly this time around.
“We’re not done yet” he said before pulling her to a deep kiss.

ITALY, A RESORT***
Alberto barged into the room angrily, Stephanie came in after.
He punched the wall angrily.
“d@mn you, Charles!” He yelled in fury.
Even with the fact that Charles left the Gala early, no one agreed to partner with him. They all choose Charles and the few one there who are not who he wants agreed to invest with him.
“I think you need to take it easy, Alberto. You don’t need to stress yourself” Stephanie spoke out.
“Take it easy, you say? My company is going bankrupt right under my eyes and you expect me to be calm?” He shouted.
Stephanie sighed. She walked closer to him and tried to hold but he stopped her.
“Don’t, don’t touch me,” he warned.
She scoffed inwardly.
“Are you mad at me too now?” She asked.
Alberto didn’t say anything.
“Okay then” she stepped away from him.
She pulled off her clothes before going to the bathroom.
All through, Charles didn’t leave her mind. She never expected to meet him this way after eight long years.
He looked totally different now, different from the young Charles she knew. The Charles who would do anything for her, the one who loved her more than his life.
His eyes which always held his love for her were now filled with hatred. He was so cold and distant to her and she felt sad about that.

Alberto stood by the wall, his mind going to the woman he saw with Charles at the Gala. She was so pretty that he couldn’t stop staring at her.
The fact that she was Charles’ woman made him angrier. Must Charles have everything?
“This is not the end, Charles,” he said to himself.
“It’s not the end” he repeated, folding his fist very tight.
***
AT THE HOTEL***
Hailey came out of the bathroom in just a top and a short. The dress she wore that evening made her uncomfortable a lot, and that was because she wasn’t used to stuff like that.
Her wet hair was sticking to her face like glue as a result of the shower she just had.
She dried her hair with the towel in her hand before returning it back to the bathroom.
By the time she returned back, she met Charles on the bed. He was shirtless and was on his laptop.
She bit her lips as she inched closer to the bed. They are to share the same bed and oddly it somehow felt comfortable for her.
Charles raised his head from his laptop to stare at her. His eyes went from her fresh thighs which were spotless, he accessed her clothing before staring at her eyes. They were both staring at each other.
“You look beautiful,” he muttered.
Hailey smiled.
He tapped the space beside him on the bed.
“It’s late already” he said when he saw the look on her face.
Hailey climbed the bed gently and he placed the laptop on the nightstand.
Hailey lied down on the bed and he pulled her to his arms, shocking her.
“I just wanna sleep this way” he whispered, resting his chin on her hair.
“Don’t hit me please,” he added.
Hailey chuckled. She rested her head on his chest and closed her eyes.
Charles’ hand went to her hair, brushing it softly.
“Can I ask you a question?” He suddenly asked.
Hailey opened her eyes and moved her head back a bit to stare at him.
“Hmm”
“Have you ever fallen in love before?” He asked.
“No”
Charles was surprised. No? Like a real No?
“Are you for real?” He asked.
“I never had the time for love, and I’m not ready to get my heart broken,” she muttered.
Charles smiled.
“I’ve always wondered why you’re so hard on men, now I know the reason why”
“I won’t break you Hailey, I swear down” he said.
His eyes stared into her own. Hailey felt herself drowning in his eyes.
His eyes can really make a lady fall over heels for him.
She suddenly remembered Joanna’s words and she felt that was the right time to ask him about it.
“What about you? Have you ever fallen in love before?” She asked.
Silence descended in the room.
“Charles?” She called when she noticed he was staring into space.
Charles looked at her and he smiled when he saw the worry in her eyes.
“I have,” he muttered.
“You know, I’ve always thought all women are the same, but you proved me wrong. Don’t change Hailey, keep being who you are please” he said.
Hailey stared at him confused as to why he’s suddenly saying that?
“Let’s sleep, it’s late already” he pulled her head to his chest and closed his eyes.
With his actions now, he just proved what Joanna said to her true.
But who could be the lady? And what could have happened between them for her to have broken up with him?
Those were the thoughts swimming in her head before nature finally took its place.
