The whole class was so noisy as the students were talking about the newest couples in their class, Wyatt and Layla.
? She’s so lucky to be dating Wyatt
? I’m still surprised, Wyatt is dating Layla? That girl is too innocent for him
? She must be feeling on top of the world right now
Mickey glanced at Jaime whose head is on the locker. He stood up and sat beside him.
“Jaime, are you okay?” He asked but there was no response.
“You don’t have to feel bad, okay? Just forget about her, she’s not the one for you” he said.
“I’m fine, Mickey,” Jaime said, his head still on the locker.
“You’re not. I know you, Jaime. I’m your friend, you don’t have to lie to me”
Jaime raised his head from the locker and stood up.
“I’ll be outside for a while” he muttered before going out of the class.
“I really wish he comes back to himself soon”

Jaime was taking a walk around the school when he came across Layla. She’s also walking towards him and they both stopped walking at the same time, staring at each other.
Jaime broke the staring competition and walked past her.
“Are you okay?” Layla asked.
She turned to face him and he did the same too.
“You don’t look like your normal self, is everything alright?” She asked again.
“Are you worried?” He asked back.
Layla bit her lips.
“I know you wouldn’t. After all, I’m not your boyfriend” he muttered with a chuckle.
“What are you talking about?” Layla asked.
“You are dating Wyatt, right?”
“How…. How did you know about this?” She stuttered slightly.
“The whole class already knows about this, everyone is talking about it right now,” Jaime said.
“Oh no….” Layla whispered, running to the class immediately.
Jaime smiled sadly. Maybe he should just let go of his feelings for her.
He turned to continue his journey but came to face Lilian in his front. Turns out she saw him and Layla together.
“Lil…” He was about to call her when she walked past him.
He bit his lips as he stared at her walking away, she’s truly ignoring him just as she said.

Layla entered the class as all eyes focused on her almost immediately.
? She’s so lucky
? Wyatt is one rich dude, I’m sure he’s really gonna spend a lot on her.
That was what Layla has been trying to avoid, for the whole class to be talking about her.
Wyatt surely has a lot of explanations to make, reasons why he did this behind her back, he’ll surely explain.
She has been avoiding him ever since he yelled at her the previous day. Even if he was mad, did he have to push her away??
She was about to leave the class as the attention was too much when Wyatt entered the class with his friends behind him.

Wyatt smiled and walked closer to Layla, he just needed to show off that she’s his.
“Hi baby” he smiled.
Layla glared at him and left the class in anger.
? What just happened?
? Did she just ignored him??
“Dude, did you both have a fight?” Jayden, one of Wyatt’s friends asked.
Wyatt’s eyes went to Jaime’s seat and when he found it empty, he breathed in relief. He wouldn’t want Jaime to mock him in the end.
“I’ll be right back,” he said before leaving the class.
He met Layla just by the hallway, resting her back on the wall. He walked to her.
When Layla saw him, she tried to walk away but he quickly held her hand.
“Did I do something wrong?” He asked.
Layla scoffed. Was he truly asking her that?
“Is it about yesterday? I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have yelled at you, I was just mad” he said.
“Is that enough reason to yell and push your girlfriend away just because she’s worried about you?”
“I’m sorry, I truly am” he muttered.
“What’s the meaning of what I’m hearing in the class? I told you not to announce our relationship yet, why did you?”
“Because I couldn’t keep it in anymore. And, you were mad at me, I just wasn’t thinking straight” he said.
“Now, I’m the centre of attention in the whole class. I can’t even walk freely anymore, I just h@ťě this” Layla said and walked away.
“f-__-k, why’s she just making this hard?” Wyatt roughed his hair aggressively.
“Don’t tell me you both are already having issues?” He heard behind him.
He turned to see Jaime smiling mockingly at him.
“Mind your business” he gritted.
“Sure, I’m gonna do that without you telling me. Let’s watch how this is gonna end,,, @$$h0le” Jaime eyed him before walking away.
Wyatt folds his fist tight. This wasn’t how he planned this whole thing.
“I won’t back down, Jaime. I’ll surely win in the end” he smiled sinisterly.

MONTERIO’S INVESTMENT***
Charles was busy working when his phone rang, he brought his phone from his pocket and picked it.
“Are you in your right senses now?” Jace asked over the phone.
Charles chuckled.
“Yes I am”
“Gosh, you need to stop acting like a Ďïčkhead, it’s childish mehn” Jace said.
“That’s enough,” Charles said.
Jace laughed.
“Are you in for a club tonight? Ready to f-__-k some hot bítches?” He asked.
“Nah, I think I’ll pass,” Charles said, shocking the hell outta Jace.
“Wait, are you being real right now?? You’ve never rejected f-__-king a girl before” Jace said in surprise.
“I’m just not interested, not today” Charles muttered.
“Should I send a girl over? A hot s*x in the office, it’s gonna be lit!”
“Hey, Jace don’t you d…” The call was already disconnected before Charles could finish his sentence.
He taps his head in frustration, Jace won’t surely be the end of him.
