CHAPTER 103☆106
♡´･ᴗ･`♡ AN UNEXPECTED SURPRISE ….♡´･ᴗ･`♡
“Blake…..my brother….Blake, it’s….you’re alive” Jerome just burst out…..
He just couldn’t hold back his joy as it was overflowing. And neither could he believe that Blake was alive, and was even right in front of him, talking to him.
“Oh, man! Blake…. Oh my f_ck! I can’t believe it’s you. I thought I would never see you again, Blake” Jerome momentarily pulled his brother into a very tight hug, never ready to let go so soon. As if if he did, Blake would go and never come back this time.
Blake couldn’t do more than just hug him back, brotherly, smiling so hard and wide.
“I am completely out words, bro. They’ve failed me today. I can’t believe who my eyes are seeing” Jerome shut his eyes tight, his fingers cleaning the little tears that formed in his eyes.
Oh, gosh! It was so unbelievable!
He never for once thought that Bryson didn’t ki|| Blake, or that he was only doing that to anger him.
He did believe him, because why not?
He ki||ed his dad, his other friend and…$h|t! He did so many things that Jerome didn’t think of not believing him when he said he also ki||ed Blake.
[ IN THE LIVING ROOM ]
Janella’s eyes were wide open, as she walked into the living room with Jerome and the kids.
When Jerome went upstairs to tell them that it was his cousin brother for real, and that there was nothing to be afraid of. Janella didn’t believe him, but coming downstairs to see him, left her completely knocked out.
“Uncle Blake!!” Desiree screamed in so much excitement, running as fast as her two small legs could carry her.
The moment Blake saw her, he stood up immediately and carried the little girl up, twirling her around for a little while, while Jerome just kept smiling like forever.
“I missed you so much, uncle Blake” Desiree uttered, hugging Blake’s neck as she wrapped her hands around there.
“I missed you more, daddy’s girl. Ask your daddy how much I missed you guys” Blake said, turning to look at Jerome who just chuckled.
“What happened? What’s going on, Jerome?” Confused Janella who was carrying little Betty, asked.
“It’s a long story, Janella” Blake was the one who replied her instead before Jerome could do so, and Janella frowned, still not getting a thing.
“I will explain everything to you guys, but for now, I just want to rest” Blake added, smiling. He then turned to look at Janella again, then at Betty, and he just frowned.
“Is that your daughter? She so looks like Dee” Blake asked in confusion, taking time to look at Desiree, then back at Betty again, who was still in her mom’s arms.
“That’s my twin sister, and that is my mommy, uncle Blake” Desiree told him, shocking Blake, completely.
“What?!….”
“My mommy and daddy are get married soon” Desiree spoke again, with Jerome and Janella turning to look at each other, shaking their heads.
“Oh, my gawd! Can’t believe how much I have to know” Blake didn’t even know what to say, or where to start. “Come here, little angel” He then said, and Janella put Betty down, though she was relunctant.
However, Blake had just carried Betty into his arms also, when a guard came to inform Jerome that the cops were there already.
“They can’t see me, bro. You have to come up with something to tell them” Blake immediately said on hearing what the guard said.
“Huh? What….why would you say that?” Jerome asked in utter confusion.
“Because I was the one who got Bryson out of prison”Blake replied, not hiding what he did at all.
“Wait, what?!!” Jerome and Janella couldn’t believe their ears at all!
“Dude! Why did you do such a thing?” Jerome who looked totally cofused, managed to ask.
“Because the cops were playing with him, and were never gonna give him the punishment he deserves” Blake replied, blankly, causing Jerome to make that “what?” face.
“My gawd!! Crazy dude, I can’t believe you! So where is he now?” Jerome asked in curiousity.
“He’s in my custody, under my mercy, and about to be sacrificed to his ancestors in form of burnt offering” Blake replied, sounding very serious as he was not smiling at all.
“God of justice!” Jerome exclaimed with a chuckle as he though that Bryson deserved every punishment given to him, especially wh@ťěver punishment he was getting from Blake.
[ AT THE CINEMAS ]
“Tickets for two, please. Bills on me” Lenora said as they walked in to get their tickets for the movie she and Fred came to watch.
Actually, Fred suggested that they go out to the cinemas to have their date night movies instead, as he thought it would be more fun outdoors.
“Do not listen to her, she’s only kidding” Fred retorted immediately.
“But I want to pay for the tickets, it doesn’t always have to be the guys” Lenora shook her head with an eyeroll.
“You wanna keep arguing? Then I’m gonna ruin our movie by kissing you throughout the show” Fred smirked, and Lenora giggled hard.
“But that actually won’t be a bad idea, you know?” Lenora winked at him and he chuckled.
“My woman is becoming such a bad girl. How about we….we do the other one….”
“Don’t you dare say it, you shameless naughty boy!” Lenora jokingly and quickly shut him up with her forefinger, making Fred and even the lady selling tickets to c
huckle hard.
[ THE M EYER’S MASION]
“Oh, thank goodness you’re home already, baby. I was so worried about you….wait, isn’t this the Doctor who saved Jerome’s life?” Mrs. Meyers asked, when she saw that Bianca didn’t come home alone.
Bianca actually insisted on him coming in to at least have a glass of water, which he kept refusing till he gave in.
“Yes, mom. It’s him, Dr. Derek. You won’t belieave he saved me from waiting for the driver for that long” Bianca smiled, heartily.
“Good evening, ma’am. It’s so nice to meet you again” Dr. Derek greeted, respectfully with a small smile.
“Same here, my dear. Thank you for helping my daughter. You’re such a gentleman that she doesn’t have in her life yet, hahaha. Because she’s still very much single and searching” Mrs. Meyers intentionally said it out loud to Derek’s hearing, trying to tell him that he can fit in.
“Ugh!” Bianca let out a throaty, inaudible grunt in embarrassement, while Derek just smiled at what Mrs. Meyers said.
“This woman will sure be fun to be around with” He thought, smiling again.
Anyway, Bianca saw him off, and came back to face her mom who just embarrassed her.
“Mom, that was not necessary, you know” She said, her arms folded and was just shaking her head as she kept staring at her mom in disbelief.
“You know it won’t be bad nor hard if we plan two weddings at the same time” Mrs. Meyers spoke again, completely ignoring what Bianca said.
“You’re being annoying right now, mom” Bianca huffed.
“I know, my baby. And I will keep being annoying till you get married” Mrs. Meyers let out a very annoying smile.
“I should be under the shower right now, having a cool bath. But Mrs. Meyers just won’t stop suffocating me!” Bianca said, and her mom laughed out, shortly.
“Hey, baby bro. What’s up?” Bianca asked, as she immediately picked Jerome’s call that came in that moment.
“Your cousin brother is alive, and he’s right here with me” Jerome broke the goodnews to Bianca, and her phone almost slipped out of her hand.
“What?! You mean Blake is alive? Oh my gosh!” Bianca screamed out loud in so much joy.
[ BIG MOMMA’S HOME ]
“Thank you, my love. This is so soothing” Big Momma said with a big and happy smile, as she was getting a good massage on her feet from Abbey.
It was a very hectic day for her, and it was not quite long when she got back from the appointment that she went for.
“I can tell the day was stress filled, Grandma” Abbey uttered, taking Big Momma’s other leg that wasn’t on her thigh yet, so she could give it a good massage too.
“It was indeed stress filled, Abbey. But I’m good because I’m getting a sweet and soothing massage from my granddaughter” Big Momma said, making Abbey to smile hard.
“Did you see your sister today? I can see she doesn’t miss me anymore. Jerome Meyers has stolen my daughter from me already, and I doubt if I will even get to hear her voice again by the time he finally makes her his wife. Goodness!” Big Momma said, and she suddenly started chuckling at her own words.
“I did see her, grandmother. She’s great and so is everyone else. But Grandmother, you have to talk to Janella. I know you’re the only one she listens to. Janella doesn’t want to listen to any conversation that has to do with our mom or dad. She got mad at me today for bringing up such topic” Abbey started and Big Momma could only sigh.
“Abbey dear, if it’s about your parents, then Janella won’t listen to me either. I don’t know how else I want to talk to her for her to listen” Big Momma said, and what she just said made Abbey sadder than she already was.
“Don’t stress it, my love. Janella will forgive her parents when she feels like doing so. Trying to force or talk to her about this same issue over and over again, will only make her feel more hurt than she already is, and might h@ťě her parents even more. Forgiveness only comes genuinely from the heart, we can’t force her. She can even say she has forgiven them, but that might not come from her heart, Abbey. She just did it to stop the too much pestering on her to forgive them”
“I don’t know how long she’s going to keep hating them, but I believe she’ll come around one day, when her heart says it’s time” Big Momma spoke, and Abbey couldn’t help but to sigh out.
“So how are you? Did you call her, or has she called you since you left their place?” Big Momma then asked.
“She did, Grandma”
“That’s all I wanted to hear. Now continue with the massage, Grandma needs to sleep” Big Momma said, relaxing herself well on the couch, and Abbey didn’t know when she just burst out laughing at the way she just rested herself well like she was actually in a spar.
[ THE HILLS HOME * NEXT DAY EVENING ]
Mrs. Hills was in the kitchen, preparing dinner, when she heard the doorbell ring.
She immediately took off her apron, cleaned her hands sharply and went for the door since her husband was not downstairs to do so.
However, she was so f_cking shocked at the people she saw by the door.
Janella, Abbey, Jerome and the twins.
Her heart began to thump so fast than it had ever thumped before. The more she stared at them, especially at Janella whom she wronged and had not seen in ages, the more and louder her heart beat.
Before she knew what was happening, tears began to rush down profusely like a fountain.
Janella’s heart was so heavy that she couldn’t hold back the tears either, as she kept staring at her mom like she was hallucinating or something. She suddenly looked away, tears rushing down her cheeks.
She couldn’t keep staring at her mom’s face, her heart was in too much pain and hurt.
“Baby girls, that’s your mommy’s mommy” Abbey was the one who spoke, and immediately on hearing that….
“Yah….grandmom!!” The twins ran to Mrs. Hills, hugging her so warmly. And again, Mrs. Hills was left in utter shock!!
“Wait! Mommy’s mommy? Does that mean those are Janella’s daughters? Does that mean the girls are her granddaughters OMG!!….
