CHAPTER 02 — DOMINIQUE MONET.

✯✯✯✯✯✯

The blonde haired woman Mõ@ɲed, @zz in the air and face down as he pounded into her from behind. “Yes, yes,” she closed her eyes in pleasure.

Sweat dripped down their bodies as his th-ru_sts began to slow down and with a jerk they came. Biting her lips seductively, she wrapped the black duvet around her body while he stood up, strode towards the bathroom and came out with a white towel tied around his waist.

Dominique looked at the woman coldy, Monica had been the woman warming his bed these two weeks. She was very experienced and a good lay but he had enough of her. “Leave” he said coldly.

She crawled towards him, “really? But I thought I could stay a little while.” her lips in a pout. They were in a hotel- a very luxurious room, he always had his escapades here. “Do wh@ťěver you want but I don’t want to see you again.” He placed a ten thousand dollar cheque on the bed (next to her) “here’s the payment for your full service, your no longer needed.”

Her eyes widened in shock, Monica didn’t know how to react. Of course, she knew Dominique Monet- the multi billionaire (man wh-_-re). Somehow she kept it at the back of her mind when she had seduced him and became one of his conquests; she wouldn’t last a day.

But she was surprised that she had been able to warm his bed up to two weeks (that had been the longest anyone lasted) and quite frankly she had gotten used to his company. The luxurious hotel, the delicious food, he certainly knew how to pleasure a woman and the fat cheques she received at the end of their quick f-__-k, Monica wasn’t ready to give everything up… yet.

“Dominique….” she whined and wanted to continue but he cut her off with a sharp glare.

“Didn’t you hear what I said. Get the f-__-k out” he spat out, his French accent thick.

She flinched and hurriedly ran out of the bed grabbing the cheque, she dressed up in her skimpy black dress and ran outside the room with Dominique slamming the door in her face.

“Bastard!!” She cursed outside.

*

Dominique rolled his eyes and dropped the towel on floor proceeding to the bathroom. Women. Cheats, liars and plain gold diggers. The only thing they were good for is warming beds. Once upon a time, a woman was his everything, he had done and would’ve done anything for her and yet she had betrayed him in the worst way possible; by having an affair with his rival and giving him his business ideas costing him millions (he had almost gone bankrupt).

And then he swore he’d never risk it all for a woman ever again. The only woman worthy in his eyes is his ever so caring mother and sister. He turned the shower off and existed the bathroom wearing a large black robe, standing in front of the the transparent glass window with an impeccable view.

Suddenly, his phone rang. Sighing he grabbed it from the counter, placing it in his ear certainly not expecting his mother’s voice.

“Dominique?”

“Mama?”

“Don’t mama me…. Where are you, I’ve been trying to reach you all day.”

“I’ve been busy” he replied nervously.

“Uhm” her tone indicating she did not believe him (knowing exactly what he was up to).

“Anyways, I called to inform you that I want to see you today. No excuses” her tone urgent.

“Is everything alright?” He had to ask

“Yes. I just want to discuss something important with you” she said and disconnected the call.

***********

It didn’t take long for him to check-out of the hotel and take his black BMW to his parents mansion. The mansion is huge standing 11ft tall, exquisite and impeccable design, with beautiful sculptures placed in the green garden and a large fountain in the middle.

“Welcome Sir” the bulter greeted as Dominique walked in.

“Thank you, Dean.” Dominique said politely handing his black coat to him. He was about asking for his mom when she came into the hall.

“Dominique” a loving smile graces her lips as she embraces him. He smiled and returned her embrace, she hugged him to tight – like she hadn’t seen him in ages.

“You saw me yesterday” he said jokingly.

“I know” she stepped out and clasped her hand together “shall we” he nodded and they walked into the sitting room.

“So you wanted to discuss something important” he sat down on the brown leather couch, Becky sitted opposite.

“Yes…..” She drawled trying to decide how she was going to tell him that she had gotten a new therapist for him. “I’ve hired a new therapist for you.” She blurted out.

Dominique blinked, “what” his annoyed tone not hidden.

“You see–” she tried to explain but was interrupted.

“No!” He stood up abruptly,

“Dominique” she said with worry as she stood up after him.

“No mama, no! How many times do I have to tell you that I don’t need a therapist!”

“You almost committed suicide!!” She yelled. He stopped pacing and faced her “that was a mistake” he said gently, trying to assure her.

“That was no mistake! I almost lost you that day Dominique. If we hadn’t gotten there on time I-I” she burst into tears. Dominique immediately moved to her side and wrapped his arms around her. He could understand his mother, he had been so broken about Claire that he did not stop to think about the people he had that loved him.

“I am sorry mama. For you I’ll go through another session” she wiped her tears with a her palm and smiled.

“You’ll,” she asked and he nodded. “Oh, Dominique mercì (thank you)” she hugged him briefly.

“But, this is the last one” his tone strict. Becky nodded in defeat, “this is the last one, I promise. But you’ve to promise to open up son, I know it’s been tough but I promise things will get better only if you let go.”

“I promise mama” Dominique would do anything to assure her that he was okay. He stayed to chat for while before leaving, once again promising to give the new one a chance.

Becky picked up her phone excitedly and quickly dialled the number she had been itching to call all day. It rang twice before it connected, “hello, Lucille.” She spoke through the line.

“Mrs Monet?” Lucille was surprised, she did not expect her to reach to her so soon.

“Lucille….” She said happily.

“Mrs Monet,” she changed her tone. “I didn’t expect to hear from you so soon”

“I know….. But I’ve good news.”

~••~••~••~••~

The music blared, the lights dimmed, the smell of alcohol lingered in the air. Outside, two huge bouncers stood at the entrance as people lined up showing their identity cards to enter. Dominique made his way into the private area of the club; the VIP lounge. The lights red, a pole set up in the center for private dances, black leather seats arranged neatly.

“Dominique!” A male voice called out seeing him approach. Dominique sat down next to him, body slack against the seat with his legs outstretched.

“A bottle of Scotch.” He orders, the bar waitress dressed in a matching red bra and lacy P@ŋtîēṣ smiles seductively at him before leaving to get his drink, her hips swaying with effort.

“d@mn! She’s hot!” His friend, Xavier took a sip of his drink admiring the waitress @zz.

“Rough day,” Mark comments seeing his tired state. Dominique nods.

“She managed to find a new therapist” he muttered,

“I thought you got rid of all of them.” Xavier says. When Dominique had attempted suicide, his mother had got to great lengths to get the best therapists in France and when they had failed- she had to hire the amateurs.

And he had h@ťěd everyone of them, the females were not only trying to make him forget about Claire but were also trying to seduce him and the males, well he just paid them off to leave him alone.

Heavens knows that he had gone through every therapist (the good and bad) in France but apparently his mother had managed to hire another and with the way she spoke so excitedly, the person must be really good.

“Yet, she still somehow finds another.” He replied, the men chuckled.

“Your scotch, Sir” her voice low and seductive, she drops the tray in front of him and pours the drink into the glass.

“Thank you.” He held the glass in his hand and took a sip.

“So what are you going to do?” Mark asks.

Dominique scoffs, “am sure the person is just like the rest, just grease their palms and the purpose of their mission will be instantly forgotten.”

“Your right.” Xavier supported. Mark, Xaiver and Dominique have been best friends since college. Mark and Xavier are billionaire son’s; being the richest and most popular kids in college, it was hard deciphering who was your true friend or enemy well until Dominique came along.

With a honest heart, common likes and dislikes they became friends and in time their bond became unbreakable, they had been there for him when Claire left, even they had been shocked at the way things turned out – their love seemed so true.

“I know you don’t like the therapists but try to get better man and let go” his brotherly tone did not go unnoticed.

“I’ll” he agreed. Maybe, just maybe he’d give this therapist a chance after all, it wouldn’t be so bad.
