THE DEVIL’S EMOTIONS
<POLICE STATION>
“How could you beat up Miss Charlotte? You gave her five hard slaps, how could you?” An interrogator asked Rona who was sitting in front of Mrs Jackson and Charlotte. Three cops were behind her.
“What about the slaps she gave me?” Rona replied.
“Shut the f-__-k up, I didn’t touch even a strand of your hair” Charlotte shouted.
“Really?”.
“I want her thrown into the cell, what are you officers waiting for? How dare she slap my baby?” Mrs Jackson shouted.
“What proof did you have that she slapped you first, Miss Rona?” The interrogator asked.
“Am I allowed to make a call?” Rona asked.
“Yes, you can, hand over her phone” The interrogator said and a cop who was having Rona’s phone gave the phone to her.
“Who are you calling Ɓîtçh?” Charlotte shouted.
“Manners Miss Charlotte” A cop caution.
Rona went to her contact list and dialed Shane’s number, he picked the call at the first ring.
“Shane” She said and Charlotte’s eyes widened.
“I’m in the police station, I need you here” She said.
“What!!!” Shane shouted.
“I’m coming over now” Shane said and she hung up.
“What do you think you are doing?” Charlotte asked.
“Are you scared already?” Rona snickered and she could notice the fear in her eyes.
<MINUTES LATER>
Shane entered the police station and started walking to the interrogation room, his walking steps were showing how angry he was and the floor was feeling the heat of his anger till he entered the interrogation room and everyone looked at him.
“Prof. Shane” Everyone called, surprise in their eyes, except for Rona and Charlotte.
Shane looked at Mrs Jackson and Charlotte, his anger escalated as he stared at her badly.
“What’s the meaning of this?” Shane asked angrily.
“Calm down Prof. Shane” A cop said.
“I need an answer right now” Shane demanded impatiently.
“Miss Rona here beat up Miss Charlotte yesterday in school….
“And so?” He replied and their eyes widened.
“Are you defending her?” Mrs Jackson asked, standing.
“Do you share your brain with your daughter?” Shane asked and Mrs Jackson’s eyes widened more.
“What…
“Are you cops really fit to be cops?” Shane yelled.
“What do you mean?”.
“You only heard her side of the story and you went ahead to arrest her without hearing her own side of the story too, is it because she’s not rich? Is that how you are trained to treat the citizens?” He yelled angrily.
“We only brought her here for questioning, Professor….
“Would you have brought Charlotte here for questioning if she was in Rona’s shoes?” Shane asked and the cops swallowed hard.
“You can’t answer right? And you Mrs Jackson, you believe wh@ťěver your daughter told you huh!” Shane said and took out his phone.
He clicked on the video that was trending on the school blog and placed it on the table before everyone.
In the video, it was showing how Charlotte approached Rona and started bullying her.
The video ended and he took his phone away from the table.
“Got something to say?”.
Nobody said a word and Shane placed his hands on the table, facing Charlotte.
“I don’t want to h@ťě you, don’t push me” He said seriously before standing straight.
He grabbed Rona’s hand, going out of the building.
Tears build up in Charlotte’s eyes, nothing can be compared to the pain of seeing someone you love defending another person in front of you, it hurts.
“Baby” Mrs Jackson faced her but was surprised when she met tears in her eyes.
“What is….
Charlotte stood up and rushed out of the room.
“Baby” Mrs Jackson called, running out too.
Shane got out of the building with Rona and they entered his car at once.
“I can’t believe the cops are ready to favor anyone that’s rich” He said and she smiled.
“You were so cool in there” She said and he faced her.
“I was?” He asked.
“Yes, I love the way you were throwing the questions at them, I love you Shane” She replied.
“You said that to me the night you drank my bottle of wine” He said and her eyes widened.
“Huh!! Did I say other things too?”.
“Yes” He replied and she took her lips in.
“You look cute when you take your lips in” He said and her eyes Shone brightly.
“I’m cute” She said.
“You’re ugly, it was a mistake, I mean to say you look ugly when you take in your lips” He said and she pouted.
“But you said earlier that I’m cute, Shane, am I really ugly?” She asked seriously, and he looked away.
“I don’t know, let’s get out of here” He said and drove out of the parking lot.
“Thank you Shane” She said.
“Don’t worry, I gat your back”.
“I missed my class because of that classes Ɓîtçh” Rona said and he looked at her briskly.
“I like the feistiness, start displaying it” He said and she smiled.
“Hungry?”.
“How do you know?” She nodded with a smile.
“Cos I’m hungry too” He replied and pulled into a restaurant.
His car halted, and he came out of the car with Rona at a time.
She smiled at him and took his hand before walking in with him.
They settled down on a table and their food was served. They started eating immediately.
Rona looked up and started a discussion, clearing the silence.
“Can you tell me a little about yourself?” She asked, and he looked up.
“Shane Luke, half American, half Korea…
Rona gasped loudly and he looked up.
“You’re half Korean?”.
“Yes, why?”.
“No wonder you look much like Koreans”.
“I was waiting for you to ask, mum was Korean and dad is American”.
“Your mum is late?”.
“Yes, I didn’t even meet her, she died when I was one month old” He replied.
“I’m sorry” She said, feeling pity for him.
“I lost my parents too” She said.
“I Know”.
“How?”.
“I’m not dumb Rona” He replied.
“I’m twenty three, a professor in medicine” He completed.
“Awwn, you are four years older than me”.
“Then learn how to respect me, I’m your big brother” He said and she smiled..
“Yes, big brother Shane” She replied cutely.
“You’re so silly, eat up” He said and smiled, and they started eating again.
<CLINTON UNIVERSITY>
Angelique and Erica met Mandy in the front of the lecture hall, holding her bag straps.
“Where is baby Rona?” Erica asked.
“I don’t know, she didn’t come for the class” Mandy replied.
“Is she okay?” Angelique asked.
“I swear I will murder Charlotte if she tries anything with her” Erica said.
“Don’t worry babies, Shane is there to protect her” Angelique said and they laughed.

Shane and Rona stepped out of the restaurant and met Spider at the door.
“Cute little thing” Spider said cheerfully and Rona smiled.
“Spider, what’s your real name?” Rona asked.
“Vanessa”.
“Can I call you V?”.
“Yes, anything for you baby” Spider replied and pulled Rona to her side.
“Do you show up everywhere?” Shane asked.
“Have a problem with that?” She smirked.
“Let’s eat dessert over there” Spider said and started pulling Rona there.
Shane sighed and followed them.
Spider got two ice creams for them and they started eating it.
“Do you know you are special?” Spider asked and Rona faced her.
“Huh!!..
“Shane hasn’t taken a girl out to eat in a restaurant before, you are the first girl, he hardly talks much but he does that with you, he’s not bad but he’s hard to deal with” Spider said and Rona turned to look at Shane who was on the phone, she smiled and looked back at Spider.
“You think so?”.
“It’s what it’s, I love your innocence” He said and hugged her.
“Time to go” Shane said, approaching them.
“Don’t forget Shane, Bye Rona” Spider smiled and walked away.
“Here” She offered him ice cream.
“I h@ťě ice cream, let’s go” He said and pulled her to the car.
<OLD MAN RESTAURANT~ 6PM>
Charlotte, Stella and Rose were already sitting on a table in the restaurant when the waitress appeared and it turned out to be Mandy.
“Charlotte” Mandy blinked shockingly, and Charlotte smiled.
“What a pleasant surprise” She said, clicking her tongue.
They came here on purpose, they already knew Mandy is a worker here and Charlotte engineered the whole thing, she was looking for what to pass her aggression on and she found one when Mandy crossed her mind.
Stella was smiling coyly while Rose was staring into space.
“What can I get for you?” Mandy asked.
She surely knows things won’t go well here so she has to be extra careful so as to keep her job.
“Get us a bottle of Vodka” Stella said.
“Is that all?”.
“And what else? Do you want to pay with your p@zzy?”.
Mandy swallowed hard and walked away.
Charlotte and Stella smiled at each other.
“Rose, are you okay?”.
“Yeah” She replied simply.
Mandy came back with the vodka and placed it on the table.
“What is this?” Charlotte yelled angrily.
“Huh”.
“I ordered for Champagne” Charlotte yelled and Mandy’s eyes widened.
“But this is what Stella ordered..
“Don’t call my name Ɓîtçh” Stella said.
“I will get the champagne, I’m sorry” Mandy said.
“Don’t worry” Charlotte said and popped the Vodka, she poured it in a cup and raised the wine to her face, splashing it on her face.
Mandy’s eyes widened madly.
“Ahh… manager… Manager” Charlotte started shouting.
“What are you doing Charlotte?” Mandy asked.
Stella was smiling while watching the drama, Rose was watching everything but she wasn’t interested in taking part.
The manager rushed there and faced them.
“She poured the drink on my face and slapped me just because I cautioned her that she brought us the wrong drink” Charlotte said, faking tears.
“What!! You know that’s a lie,why cook up stories?”.
“It’s a lie boss, I’m innocent” Mandy faced the manager.
“I’m not lying, do you know whose daughter I’m? I’m the daughter of Andrew Jackson, I want her fired immediately or else my mum will bring this restaurant down” Charlotte said, crying loudly.
“You’re fired, Mandy” The manager said without a second thought.
“No, boss I’m innocent, can you please believe me”.
“Leave Mandy, I don’t want to lose this restaurant” He said coldly.
Mandy looked at him with tears in her eyes and faced Charlotte who was smiling triumphantly with Stella.
“You think the world ends here right? Because you are a from a rich family, you think you owned the world, you will regret what you did to me today in the future, mark my words” Mandy said hurtfully and walked out of the restaurant after pulling off the uniform and throwing on the floor.
“Good job girl” Stella said and they stuck hands, laughing.
“Doing that to her wasn’t necessary” Rose said and stood up, walking out.
“What!!!!….
<ANGELIQUE’S MANSION~ 5PM>
Angelique opened the door and when she saw Valentino’s face she tried to close the door back but he stopped her by holding the door. He came in and faced her.
“Why are you avoiding me?” He asked.
“What are you doing here?”.
“You even changed your password”.
“It’s my door. I have the right to change the password any time I want” She said coldly.
“What’s my crime?”.
“You seriously don’t know?” She yelled.
“Tell me”.
“Do you think it is funny flirting with girls around? Do you know how much….
“Nevermind, get out of my house” She said and started walking upstairs but Valentino followed her upstairs and grabbed her hand, turning her around.
He lifted her into his arms.
“What are you doing? Put me down” She shouted.
“ki|| me later” He said and walked into her room, he placed her on the dressing table and caged her.
“What are you doing?” She asked.
“Are you jealous?” He asked, brushing his nose on hers.
“I’m… I’m not” She replied nervously.
“You’re nervous” He smiled and she looked away.
“Look at my face and tell me to leave” He said.
She took her face to him but she quickly looked away and swallowed.
“You see, you can’t avoid me, stop hurting yourself, I’m sorry Angel” He said and she faced him.
He brought his lips closer and peppered her face with kisses.
She started giggling.
“Stop Tino” She giggled and he smiled.
“You are not angry with me again right?” He asked.
“I will think about it” She replied and he took his lips to her chest. He smiled naughtily and started planting kisses there.
“Tino!!!…
<SHANE’S PLACE>
Shane dressed up for the mission, the exchange in XLY forest is happening today. He looked at his guns on the table and took them, he grabbed his mask and pocketed it.
He walked to the door and the moment he opened it he met Rona on the door. She looked at him and wondered where he’s going right now.
“Where are you going?” She asked.
“Attending an urgent meeting right now” He replied.
“Will you be back early?” She asked.
“Yes” He replied.
“Can I stay in your house till you will be back?”.
“I will ki|| you if you finish up my wines” He replied and she laughed.
“I promise to control my urge, I will resist the temptation” She said.
“What about your uncle?”.
“He’s not home” She replied.
“See you later” He said and roughed her hair before leaving.
“Why’s he asking about Stanley?” She said and entered the house.

Storm, Spider and Venom were already waiting for Shane. The mission is a dangerous one so it has to involve him.
His car pulled there and halted.
He came out of the car and the three of them went closer.
“Where are the other gangs?” Shane asked.
“They are ahead of us”.
“How men?”.
“45, boss doubled, a spy was caught yesterday and she has been feeding the vultures clan with information about the mission, so we have to be careful, we can’t trust Shaw and Blue” Venom said.
“Let’s go, Spider ride with me” Shane said and entered the car with Spider.
They drove out immediately.
<XLY FOREST>
The tall broad trees stood out gallantly, giving the forest a desirable look, it’s a good place for carrying out illegal deals like this.
The large green and yellow grasses were moving along with the speed of the breeze.
About 10 cars drove into the forest and stopped.
The gang members started coming down, each with a gun.
Another 9 cars drove in and stopped, members of the cartel started coming out of the cars, each with a gun, they were looking dangerous. They are the ones to make the exchange with black axe empire.
“Everyone should be alert” Shane said and immediately his phone rang in his pocket. He took out the phone and saw a strange number.
He answered the call and a husky voice filled his ear.
“Care to know where your little girl is right now?” The voice asked and his eyes widened.
“What are you talking about?”.
“You left her home, right? Well she’s with us right now, hahaha”.
“What!!” Shane shouted and everyone faced him.
“Don’t you dare try to hurt…
“I will not hurt her, why don’t you come back home… Hahaha” The voice laughed and ended the call.
Without wasting a second, Shane started running to his car.
“Lucifer..” Spider ran after him and caught up with him when he was about to open the door.
“Where are you going?”
“Rona is in trouble, I have to save her, take care of everything, I will be back” He said fastly and entered the car, driving out roughly.
“f-__-k”.
Shane’s head wasn’t correct as he drove home, if anything happens to her then he will blame himself but who could be behind this? It means the person is aware of how close she’s to him.
He drove roughly into his house and parked the car, he jumped out of the car and entered his house.
He took out his gun and started targeting. He walked to his room but saw no one.
“Rona” He called and opened the bathroom, he checked but didn’t see any sign, he walked to the kitchen and saw no one in.
He entered the training ground but she wasn’t in. His heart flew to his mouth.
Are they playing games with him? He searched the whole house without finding her and in that minute and for the first time in his life, fear appeared in his eyes.
He dashed out of his house and ran all the way to Rona’s house, he entered the house and started shouting her name. He was already going crazy. Where did they take her to?
He opened the door he saw and went inside, he looked around the room and realized it was her room.
“Rona!!!” He called crazily.
“Shane” Rona replied and came out of the bathroom.
He sighed and inhaled when he saw her come out of the bathroom, and his peace came back.
She was still in a towel but he didn’t mind, he ran so fast to her and hugged her tightly.
“I won’t forgive myself if anything bad happens to you ” He said gently.
