Chapter 35
Orla felt someone peck her on the cheeks and she groaned softly, she couldn’t remember where she was or how she got there, she forced her eyes open and saw Logan smiling at her from one end of the bed; he was still in his pajamas but it seemed like he had woken up long ago.
Orla smiled and closed her eyes, she realized that she was not in Logan’s room, she was in her room. She had been so emotional the previous night that Logan had to take her to the bathroom himself. She remembered how he had bathed her like an infant, using the scrub gently on her and helping her out of the tub afterwards.
Logan had stayed with her after the little incident yesterday, he didn’t go back to work that evening but decided to make dinner himself, he had fed her by himself and consoled her when she wouldn’t stop crying. He had even bath and put her to bed very early. She was lightheaded all along and so she didn’t pay attention to what was happening, she just let him take care of her till she dozed off.
“Come on Orla, if you keep sleeping, then we will be late for work,” Logan whined.
“Huh?” Orla muttered and shot her eyes open the moment he said that. “Work?” she queried.
Logan smiled and folded his legs on the bed. “Yes of course, I am taking you to the office today, in fact you just got a job in my company, congratulations Miss personal Secretary,” he uttered and laughed.
“What? You are joking, right?” she asked and sat up as well.
“Do I look like I am joking? I told you that we would find a solution together, this is the first step. Yesterday, you said that these urges mostly come when you are alone, well now you don’t need to stay at home all day, you will spend half of the day in the office next to mine and we can come back together… I know it won’t stop your cravings entirely but then you will be too busy to do something you don’t like, and I will be close to you the whole time.” Logan explained happily
“Oh,” Orla muttered and smiled faintly, “that is very thoughtful of you, thank you,” she said with a bit of coldness in her voice.
“You don’t seem excited, don’t you like the idea?” he asked.
“Oh, no… I mean of course not, I love the idea of being close to you, I just didn’t see it coming so I am kind of surprised, but I love it,” she replied in a sputter of words and giggled.
Logan chuckled. “I understand, now get up my lady and get ready, the CEO and his PA should live by example, if the workers should be early, then so should we,” he teased and kissed her on the forehead, and then he climbed down from the bed. “I will be waiting, we will share my bathtub,” he said and smirked.
Orla chuckled, she knew what he was thinking and she also loved that idea, segz in shower would be great. Just as Logan was about to leave, something crossed her mind and she called his name immediately.
“Yes,” Logan replied and paused on his tracks, “everything okay?” he asked.
“Um… Yes, I just wanted to know about yesterday… um… I wanted to know about the servant, it is not really his fault, I was the one who…”
“Shhhh,” Logan interrupted her. “it is okay, don’t worry… I got him a job elsewhere, I don’t think you would be comfortable with him still working here after what happened, I also made sure he wouldn’t speak a word of it to anyone so you don’t have to worry about anything,” he assured.
Orla smiled and nodded. “Thank you Logan, for everything,” she said in appreciation.
“Anything for you, my lady,” he replied and bowed stylishly. Orla giggled softly and shook her head in amusement.
Logan then opened the door and walked out of the room. He needed to get the shower ready and update the servants on breakfast requirements for him and his mate.

Orla lay back on the bed and smiled, she couldn’t help but blush at the thought of how sweet Logan was. How could a man be so perfect? Did such men still exist or was she in one of her dreams that goes on for hours after she falls asleep from m@$tvrb@ting?
Logan was just the epitome of perfection, he had everything. He had the looks, he had the paper, he had the character, he had the wisdom, and he had the right attitude and was still good at bed… isn’t that just too good to be true?
A man who cared about others feelings before his own, he always put her first, he looked above her flaws and choose to see the light in her, he was ready to fight his family to keep her, he was ready to break rules and laws that govern creatures just to be with her… did such love still exist or was there something she was missing here?
She had expected everything they shared to end yesterday when he caught her with the servant but here he was still treating her like a queen, he was still pampering and caring for her, she was wrong about him the whole time.
Just when she thinks he can’t be any nicer, he shocks her. What sought of a man was this? Where did he come from?
Honestly, she was glad that he chose to keep her because she believed she wasn’t worthy of being part of his life, now she could only pray that she doesn’t do something to break his trust or hurt him, she just couldn’t trust herself enough with that.
What if she disappointed him? What if she hurts him again? Would he still forgive her? She didn’t even want to do it in the first place, but what if it was beyond her control? The thoughts of this bothered her.
