“What is going on?” He asked and Cordelia groaned in anger “They won’t succeed, I won’t let them destroy any of my plans”
“Will you tell me what is going on?!” He had to yell since he is lost…
“I could feel her fury suppressed by the power of the water and it is all because of Atticus, the river god” “Atticus?”

Olcan couldn’t sleep, the thought of his wife tied to the chair is very annoying and he h@ťě it. She is not even his mate but there is something he felt towards her, even if she is not his mate, right now. She don’t give a d@mn about it, all she wants is her. Just her alone.
He stood up from the bed and tied his robe against his waist, he opened the door to where Phoenix was kept and there is she with her hair rough.

“Olcan” he stopped stroking as she called his name the same way she always call him.
Suddenly, she shook her head “Move away from me Olcan!” She shouted and before he could do so, an heavy wind swept him off the ground “$h|t!”
He watched struggle to break free from the formation, she groaned loudly also.
Olcan’s hand fisted into bump immediately,
“I need to save her with everything I’ve got”

“The Alpha’s mother is here” the door to his chamber opened and there is he dressing up while the Alpha’s mother furiously enter “And that your Cursed mate has finally turned the kingdom upside down”
He didn’t reply and that made Alpha’s mother more furious “Olcan!” She shouted and that is when he rubbed his temple facing her.
“How many times have I told you that she is not a f-__-king curse!” He yelled but Alpha’s mother scoffed” she ki||ed few of us and you are saying she is not! She will ki|| everyone, I heard you are keeping her ….the best thing is to ki|| her” Olcan scoffed “No I won’t, i just need to cure the spell casted on her and we are good! She is the only one I want as my mate”
Alpha’s mother shook her head unbelievably”You are seriously out of your mind”
“You can think wh@ťěver, I’ll save her” with that he walked out of her. Alpha’s mother was stunned on how he walked away.

“Does it hurt?” Camila swiveled her head to Atticus who stood at the door watching her blew air to her finger which had a slight cut, She nodded slowly and that made Atticus slide to where she is, he took her hand into his and sighed “I don’t want you to get hurt” he said and blew air on her hand and surprisingly, the cut closed.
“Thank you” Camila smile at him and H9”e smirked “After all these end, I mean after I got my powers back and heal the princess, I will marry you” Camila’s mouth agape in surprise “did you just say you…you wnat to Marry me?” She asked and he shrugged.
“You don’t want to?” He asked instead and that made her shook her head “of course no,” she replied and he smile, of course, she has no choice than to be with him.
“How do you want to go about it? I mean, your power?” She asked and he smile “I already made a move, she will soon be here and that is the only time I can strike her down and take back my power”
“You mean, the witch is coming here?” She exclaimed and that made him chuckle “don’t be scared okay, I got you. I’m always here to protect you. Yes, we have to see so we can settle things and if she wants death, I will give it to her”
“Please, don’t get hurt, I don’t want anyone to get hurt” biting her lips, she mumbled.
“Okay” He said and surprised her by pulling her close to his chest. At first, she tensed but later realized into his arms.
“As it stands now, Alpha. We will have to ki|| the Luna” Olcan scoffed when all the elders also stood against Phoenix.
“Since no one is ready to support me, then i guessed we shouldn’t be having this meeting then, I’ve got better things”
“It’s too late the Alpha” Elder Guan said and that made him furrowed his brows “too late?” What are they planning to do?
“What?” he asked and He looked at other elders “well, the Luna must have been brought out by now” his eyes widened Immediately he realized what they are trying to do “$h|t!”
He speeded to his room, dashing into the small room where she was kept and there two dead bodies was found on the floor but Phoenix wasn’t in the room.
“Oh duck them!” hd groaned rushing out and on his way, he bumped into Atticus.
He looked at him weirdly “what is going on?” He asked, “Phoenix….she is not here”
“What?” He exclaimed…..
Running his eyes throughout the palace, transforming into his form… the fastest to look for her…..Perceiving her scent, he took up his heels and there he found her standing on a spot.
Transforming back to human form, he breathe out, relieved that he found her.
“Phoenix!” He called but she didn’t answer, he attempted to go closer to her but Atticus stopped him ‘stop!” He stopped him from going further and he did.
Atticus got to his side while olcan look at him wondering why he stopped him “the witch” Atticus muttered… witch? Olcan turned to Phoenix to see a smoke surrounding her.
“Atticus what is going on? What is that?” The smoke become bigger and suddenly, Cordelia appeared laughing hysterically……
“And here we meet again” she smile…
