CHAPTER TWENTY-EIGHT: THE ROYAL BALL 1
” You must have lost it!!!” Asmodeus’s growl didn’t anger me, he had every right to be angry, even if he was the same guy who kept telling me to have segz ” You know fully well that being intimate is like losing your power and you tried to do it?”
” Only for a short period of time ”
” Do you know how many demons will want you dead for that short time?” He kept on complaining about how stupid I acted while I stared at my reflection in the mirror, I hadn’t even had segz yet and half of my hair was already white. ” Chloe has to go ”
” Don’t you dare ” I frown ” She stays with me ”
” You were transforming in the process of having segz with her, how do you think she will feel?” His words do make sense, she looked scared and even crawled back “You should announce to everyone about your divorce, you will be leaving the two sisters ”
” Asmodeus”
” This is what is good for you!”
” Why do you care” I furrow my brows ” You keep acting like my brother “Standing up, I look at his bed chamber, while I vanished, I had no idea I would end up here “The ball is tomorrow night”

” Send out the maids tomorrow for Chloe’s dress ”
” Where are you headed to?” Asmodeus frowns “Why do I have to do it? Ask your butler ”
” My bed chamber” I frown “Don’t you think it’s about time you start working for living in my mansion without paying ”

” You’re even sleeping with my wife “Grabbing his trousers, I put them on.

” I did “Walking out of his bed chamber, I caught a glimpse of red hair and vanished into the cornfield. Getting curious, I follow behind her gently and then stop, I stare at Freya how she tries climbing the fence, the way her legs are positioned, I will say she does this almost every night
” Freya ” My voice calm, she turns around and stares at me, eyes red, obvious she has been crying
” Milord ” she stepped back ” why are you here ”
” I saw a glimpse of your red hair, and got curious”
” Kindly leave ” she mumbled ” I wish to be alone”
” Why is that?” I asked,” You wished to see how far you can climb Tonight?” She looked at me, not responding to my words, just quiet ” Life must be horrible for you right now ”
” Why speak like you care ”
” I am trying to get interested in things that are silly”
” I must look silly then ” she moved closer “Can I ask for a favor?”
” Indeed ”
” I wish to attend the Royal ball” she looked sick “Take me with you, am still your wife ”
” But you h@ťě me ”
” I do ” she smiles” but I need a change of environment, I need a breath of fresh air ”
” Are you tired of this place?”
” Yes ”
” I will consider your wish “The wind blew softly and then I noticed how beautiful she was, those blue eyes of hers, she looked like a goddess ” Freya ” I walked closer and smiled “You’re a rare gem ” it must have been awhile she heard good compliment, her cheeks redden but it died down too fast

” Fair point” I chuckle” Chloe is the real gem”
“Excuse me ”
” Going to Asmodeus? So soon?”
” Why?” She looked at me “Do you wish for me to keep you company ”
” That will be preposterous” I smile ” I will never ask that from you ”
” Milord” she moves closer ” I truly wish you fall into despair, you will have the worst luck anyone can ever wish for ”
” Is that a curse?”
” Yes” Freya’s eyes cold
” You interest me” I move closer ” I will take you to the ball, would like to see you in a pretty dress ”
” Why didn’t you touch me” her question came out of the blue “Why did you leave me for your friend ”
” You were untouched” I frown ” For some reason, I love women with experience, they know how to excite me ” After that, she walked out of the cornfield, and I stood alone, staring at the stars and moon.
Thoughts flashback to how I almost did that, I was this close to knowing what it felt like to be buried deep in somebody… Will it be tight? Amazing? Perfect? It has to be pleasurable.
Same time, am glad I stopped, I would have become a complete human for three days, how many demons would want me dead for those three days would be uncountable.
Moving back to my chamber, I remained standing while Chloe was asleep, I thought she would stand up and run from the chamber the moment I vanished but she didn’t.
Smiling, I move closer, sit on the edge of the bed, and move her hair from her face “You’re back ” She blinks her eyes and looks at me “Or am I just dreaming” refusing to say anything else, her eyes slowly shut down ” must be a dream, Thanatos doesn’t have white hair”
She can’t even differentiate between fake and real, who will keep her safe when am gone ” don’t go “she murmur ” am sorry for being scared ” this time around, I will try my ultimate best to avoid your seductions.
Mark my words.
Lifting her in my arms, I move her back to her chamber, shut the door and gently drop her on the bed, I stare down at her separated legs, she is still not wearing any underwear, swallowing I find myself leaning close to sniff it…. I should relate myself to a dog at this point but I wanted a taste.
Bringing out my tongue, I took just a lick but it wasn’t enough, leaning close I deepen my tongue and that’s where I could feel it, her juice, it was started to pour out …. She taste weird, weird but still intoxicating.
What am I doing?
I move back and stare at her sleepy eyes,flushed face and parted lips, she was Mõ@ɲing, I just promised myself never to touch her again and here I am ….doing such unholy acts.
Chloe blink thrice the moment she sit up ” he didn’t return”saying those words, I look at the empty room, I wonder what happened to him last night…. The joy I was having that he already gave in but something was wrong, he was getting dark, his eyes completely red while his hair, it was burning.
I got scared, scared that he might ki|| me in that state and now am regretting, I should have stayed till, I should have let him get done with it
” You’re awake?” Hearing that voice, I lift my head and stare at Trevor ” milady “Trevor bow his head and I sigh in displeasure
” Where is lord Thanatos”
” He had business to attend to ” he smile ” my master ask me to deliver your dress” he move forward and drop a box on the bed ” for the royal ball ” the truth is, I have never attended a ball before, I don’t even know how it looks, my father never permitted me to
” Trevor?”
” Yes milady ”
“What is a royal ball like?”
“This particular ball is to show the public that the king son is back to the nation, young ladies are going inorder to get selected by the prince ”
” Why was lord Thanatos invited”
” He is someone the king, which is your father highly respect ” Trevor lean close ” I could say he worships lord Thanatos”
” Oh ”
” Will you mind telling me who lord Thanatos really is?”
” Am afraid is it not my place” he clear his throat ” your breakfast is ready, in the dining hall”
” I will prefer to eat right here ”
” As you wish, I will have the maids, move them to your chamber ” he walk out of the room and I look around once again, this is my chamber…. I know I didn’t leave Thanatos chamber last night, how did I get here?
Unbelievable.
Could it be that he is in his quarters? If he is avoiding me, I should play along… What I wanted asking him about, I couldn’t even do it last night….that reminds me, why can’t I remember what happened last night, after he vanished, I fell asleep but I did wake up at some point.
Was that a dream?
Am pretty sure Thanatos was touching me, lifting my dress I stare at a white underwear,I know I didn’t put that on.
