CHAPTER THIRTEEN: CHLOE’S ANGER 2
Thanatos watch how everyone seem so happy to the fact that he just got married to Freya ” you must be so excited ” xilber mumble ” she is the prettiest”
” Indeed ” I reply, not a single smile even appear on my lips ” it is a joyous moment”
” You don’t look so happy ” xilber mumble ” hope you weren’t forced ” I stare at him, he must be so happy that am married to Freya, must be thinking that he can have Chloe now
” I see no reason to speak more on this matter ” deciding to walk out of the ball hall which was used for the wedding, my gaze land in king Gerald, he nod towards his meeting room and I walk there, $h|t the door and look at him.
” People will talk, you marrying two sisters” he shake his head ” is uncalled for ”
” Hmmm”
” Isn’t Freya beauty enough for you?” He look at me ” she is a good girl ”
” This was the deal Gerald” I move close ” I want both sisters to be my wives, do you plan to object?”
” No ” he shake his head ” I will permit your marriage with Chloe tomorrow”
” Glad to hear that ” mumbling, I move my hands and Rob my face ” after all these is done, know you have my strength and whoever you wish to fight in battle, I will defeat for you ”
” Thank you Lord Thanatos” he bow his head ” thank you ” normally a king won’t bow for even the greatest general but Gerald knows that if I wanted his throne, I can get that.
” Excuse me ” walking out of the study room, I look up and notice the sun going to rest, Freya must be in my room, waiting for her marriage night, a night am supposed to touch her.
Strangely her body do not excites me, nobody expect Chloe have ever excited me to this point. Walking back to my chambers, I exhale, why did I even get so upset and marry Freya? Most of what Chloe utters from her mouth annoys me.
She don’t care if I die?
She probably won’t care if I fancy someone else, she won’t care if she isn’t my favorite woman.
Isn’t it enough that I know she has been touched by xilber? That she fancy him? But no. She decided to take it far, take it to the extent that will inform me of how low she thinks of me.
Marrying Freya might have been too much of a reaction but I was angry ” milord ” Freya voice greeted me the moment I open my chamber door, closing it shut, I notice how they decorate the room, the bed filled with flowers, Freya sitting on the bed with a very transparent dress but she wore nothing else, no underwear.
Clearing my throat, she stood up ” you’re back, my husband” she smile and I furrow my brows, for some reason, that annoyed me.
” Do not call me that ” I frown ” it is milord to you ” hurt flash in her eyes for just few seconds ” why are you dressed this way?”
” It’s our first night together ” she smile ” I was thinking of looking pretty ” looking at her, I just couldn’t feel anything, she is almost naked but yet I feel nothing, no lust ” you don’t like it?”
” You can dress as you wish Freya ”
” Then ” she move closer ” when will you touch me?”
” Touch you?”
She nod then bat her eyelashes twice, bite her lower lip and smile, she truly is beautiful, that is the main reason I regret losing her essence, I will get it back but for now, I just wish to see how Chloe reacts.
Am I being this childish, just to annoy her?
Yes, that’s the answer.
” Go to bed Freya ” I mumble ” your body disgusts me ” saying that I notice how she step back, trying to fight back the tears, I must have been too harsh to her ” I mean …..” Running my hands through my hair, I just couldn’t bear to see her face anyone ” go to your chamber, even your face annoys me ”
” Did I do something to displease you?” She asks ” you asked for my hand in marriage, not the other way round ”
” And?” I move closer ” so what if I did that, did I ever tell you that I fancy your existence? If it was left to me, you would be dead ”
” What are you saying”
” Freya ” I hold her hand and pull her close ” your beauty is not something that excites me, your body is too thin and you, your face just displeases my eyes ” tears drop from her eyes, she cover her mouth, grab my blanket and run out of my room. Sitting on the bed, I run my hands through my hair, breath out and then look up.
Chloe is right there, standing with clenched hands, won’t these people allow me to rest?
” How does it feel to be married ” she scoffed ” your wife didn’t look too happy ”
” Hmmm”
She move closer and I stand to my feet, determined to keep some distance between us ” why would you go for her? I am a lot better ” I said nothing, just watched how angry she is ” Freya doesn’t understand what you mean by keeping your body holy, am sure that is why she left this late ” I remain standing and watch her speak on ” you shouldn’t have involved her in this your complicated lifestyle ”
” Will you be happy if I bed her?” I ask and Chloe stop talking, she just look at me ” answer my question Chloe, will the thought of me bedding someone else make you happy?”
” Yes ” she retorted ” it will mean that you have finally matured ”
” Hmmm” looking at her, I notice that she isn’t as possessive as I am ” marrying me will be a wrong decision Chloe, I hope you think about it before Tomorrow morning”
” How ” she move closer ” what will make it horrible?”
” Because I will not permit you to sleep with anyone ” she furrow her brows ” you will begin celibacy ”
” But I can touch you?” She move closer, I notice how excited she seem, she was angry earlier today, why is she this happy.
” You’re happy”
She nod ” because you sent Freya out, it only means you aren’t really interested in her, this is supposed to be her wedding night but am here with you and ” she place her hands on my chest ” it seem like am the only one allowed to touch you ”
” Chloe ”
” I do not care about the reason as to why you married Freya or why you still wished to marry me ” she lean close, I look down, my eyes catch a glimpse of her Ɲīpplë of her dress, I clear my throat, why isn’t she wearing a bra? Is she purposely tormenting me?
” Am a married man ” I mumble, looking at her” getting this close to me is sin ”
” I know ” she pressed her body onto mine, her hands wrap around my waist, her head on my chest ” tomorrow I will also be your wife” clearing my throat, I could feel my nails digging into my palm, trying to stop myself from touching her
” Get off me Chloe” she withdraw a little and look at me, what is wrong with this woman? ” Freya is beautiful, I will definitely want her in my harem, I have no idea why you’re this excited ” placing my hand on her shoulder, I push her back ” do not come close or even touch me, it’s something I despise ”
Chloe has always been different, am sure if it was Freya, she would have cried from what I said but Chloe didn’t, she just fold her hands, looking at me with confused gaze.
” I see no reason why I should still marry you ” I mumble ” you hold no importance to me ”
” Then why are you doing it?”
” I am a man of my word ”
she fake a laugh and then $h00t glares my way, she look really upset right now, without thinking, I step back ” you should go to your chambers” I mumble but to my surprise, she sit on the bed.
” On one condition ” I watch how an evil smile appear on her lips ” touch me ” I frown but she move her hands to her Břě@šť and my eyes widen a little ” just a single touch and I would go ” she is teasing me, she always tease me.
But why isn’t she angry, she should feel horrible to the fact that am married to her sister, this is not the reaction I expected.
” You don’t want to?” I look at her and swallow, why do she look this good? so f-__-king good.
Her hair lose down while she holds her right Břě@šť with her hands, I could see the cleavage, just a little more then her Ɲīpplë ” Chloe ” I frown ” why do you keep behaving like some shameless woman? Is this how you throw yourself at men you want something from?”
” What if I do that?” She drop her hand and look at me ” will that make you h@ťě me?”
